I think the Guide to Builds needs some heavy updating. I'd volunteer to create new builds for it, if you want to have it renewed.
Go for it, and ping me with the new builds.
Here's what I'd like for new builds:
1: It has a feat advancement list, showing what feats are taken at each level.
2: It has a short paragraph or two explaining what the build does, and why it chose what it did.
3: It is either a good build, or it is an interesting build. This should be explained in your paragraph. It would be helpful to make a forum post to see if others find it interesting. If others talk about it, that's a good sign.
4: It has items that the player should buy.
5: It shows what the build looks like at a handful of important levels, such as 1, 4, 8, 12, 16, and 20, or 5, 10, 15, and 20.
6: It is be well-written, and well organized.
7: It is built out to level 20.
Lets move the conversation over to that thread though: http://paizo.com/threads/rzs2p6ts?Guide-to-the-Builds#1

These guides are amazing. thanks to all those who did hard work.
I know this is extremely unlikely and a big ask. But is there any chance of not using Red and Green as color codes?
If you're asking because of colorblindness, IIRC a lot of the current guide writers use stars (red=*, blue=****) as an additional visual guide. I have Red-Green colorblindness and the stars have been sufficient for me, but I could understand it being less than helpful if someone had, for example, both colorblindness and dyslexia.

Longarm and Aberrant's level 4 power stack. Throw in Greater Bloodrage you can start a rage with Longarm active, take Aberrant Tumor and give it a wand of (extended) Enlarge Person and use a reach weapon you can get some crazy high reach. All this takes pretty little in the way of resources (One feat, which is great even without this combo, a spell that's useful anyways and a level 1 wand). Eldritch Heritage should be mentioned. You should only need to list bloodlines that are particularly good for Bloodrager though.

I was thinking either a 0-10 scale would be a good idea. 10 being the best, 0 being the worst out there. What do you think?

I've seen some guides that use 1 to 4 stars, and then color code the name.
For example, Power Attack is considered a great feat by many melee characters. So color Power Attack blue (or green) and show four stars.
Power Attack (****)
It's hard to tell the difference between 6 and 7 stars, for example.

True. Though, IMO,it provides a bit more clarification, especially for the lower designated options, especially when they are circumstantial but useful. Especially if they are even more useful in said situations.

Honestly, I love the stars better than I like the colors. The colors are kind of standard... but I really dislike them.
Considering I'm one of the about 8% of the population that is color blind... that difference between red and orange or Red and green... is REALLY minimal and confusing... especially when the colors vary based on computer screens or fonts used.
The blues are great, but man, I wouldn't cry any tears if the color red/green color schemes would disappear....

Sounds like you only dislike the colors because your color blind and they do not help you. But they help other people and colors do not block stars. So the best option is to have both.

True. But that's like saying people in wheelchairs don't like stairs because they don't work for them...
I do not like the color options because they don't work for me. But my point was that they also don't work for a LOT of people who are also red/green deficient. At 8%-10% of people color blindness is a VERY common handicap. When you see how many concessions get made much smaller minority groups (Autism and such) with much smaller numbers... I'm astounded at how much the world still uses 'red'/'Green' as their prime colors.
I can and do deal with it in many different ways, and 'Both' works just fine for me. But when designing new and interesting standards or advertising or charts... it's probably best not to just dismiss such a substantial group of people.

For mine red and green are the bottom two, so most of the time you'll wanna stick with the blue and purple options anyway, I did it that way on purpose.

I specifically use stars because of the possibility of color blind readers, but I am beginning to contemplate using a simpler three-point system due to how easy it is for some readers to be confused by the number of stars on each rating.
Specifically, it would be a positive / neutral / negative rating that would be symbolized by arrows (⬆️,↔️, and ⬇️ respectively).
Any thoughts on this system?

While I use the colour system (and I recognize that it causes issues for our colourblind readers), I also include text that indicates whether choices are good or bad above and beyond the colours themselves. I am, however, baffled at how a reader could become confused by the number of stars on each rating, especially if a key of some sort was provided within the guide.
You just can't dummy-proof this sort of thing. To paraphrase a rather common axiom, "If you dummy-proof it, someone will find a dumber dummy."

Looks like Rogue Eidolon's cleric guide was removed from google drive for ToS violation. Anybody happen to save a copy?
I have it here.
I backup (almost) all of them daily. Let me know of any others are missing.

Some of the grand classics are finally starting to suffer significantly from being dated. For instance, Wizard has some really good guides, but they are missing things like the very recently released blended (2 flavors each of Ice, Mud, Smoke, and Magma) Focused Elemental Arcane Schools, and even much less recently released things like Exploiter Wizard, as well as a fair number of feats and spells. I guess this thread might be one of the better places to try to trigger the interest of someone who might be inclined to create such a thing.

And then of course there are the PrCs that have been damaged or destroyed by badly done rewrites, like the Souleater and the Diabolist. I should update my Guide to the Diabolist, but I'm not sure I have the heart for it.

I typically update my Paladin Guide every year. I haven't updated my Inquisitor Guide with such regularity, but some of the older guides definitely could use some love and attention.
If some people wanted to update guides, I'd be happy to create PDF layouts. We'd just have to collaborate on images and layout styles.
Best wishes!

I was just thinking about the inquisitor guide. Specifically, the Living Grimoire archetype is fairly amazing for a virtuoso inquisitor since it allows you to change your main casting stat to intelligence. It could make you great with skills and spells, greatly expanding your versatility.

Re: the "colors vs stars" debate.
On the issue of accomodating colorblindness, some folks likened this to a building having wheelchair ramps. I'm hard-pressed to think of a circumstnce where, once ramps were installed, a building went and took out all the stairs.
In other words, "both" seems to cover an awful lot of ground.

Since I don't really have the time I did before, I'd like to offer the chance to update my guides to others. I'd like them to continue to be a resource for people to enjoy, and so if there's anyone who'd like to take up any of my guides, please message me here, post in the thread, or email me at ehnjaminjolly@gmail.com about doing so. I've appreciated helping the community, but at this point, I'd like to make sure the information presented remains relevant if at all possible.
