Male Human Bard 1

"I would rather not spend the night here, but if we do then one of the first rooms or the entry way. We need a way out and we need guards, if we can use some of the beds to craft cover that would work as well."

Are we stopping for the night?

"I like fighting more than the next person, but staying here seems like a recipe for an ambush. But if you insist, then one of the storage rooms should work fine."

Liberty's Edge

If you don't feel the need, you can press on. It just sounded like some of you were ready for a bit of a rest. It is up to you whatever your team is going to do.

We're out of healing magic, so keep that in mind. But who wants to live forever? ;-)

Male Human Bard 1

Yeah out of healing magic..but are we even hurt bad? If we get hit good, go back to then Inn for two or 3 days, but stopping when we could go on bugs me a bit. That and I do not like camping in the dungeon as I know what I would do if a party did that :)

I have no problem pressing on, we may find a better place to hole up if we do.

"What else can we do? We're out of healing. If we got into another fight today, we would be risking much more for much less net gain. For now, I say we rest in the store room and continue in the morning."

I say we sleep in room W29, in any case. Only one entrance, and not one of the bedrooms if I remember right.

"We go back to the inn, sell our booty, and equip ourselves for another round of fighting, of course!

I'd rather eat good food, drink ale, and sleep in a fine bed; it's only two miles away, after all!"

By the way, what time of day is it? Mid-afternoon?

One quick question: How far away is town anyway?

Two miles. Even for a stubby-legged dwarf that's not too far away.

Liberty's Edge

The town isn't terribly far away, but over rolling hills. Its about a two to three hour walk at your average pace.

If you had left bright and early it would probably be just about noon at this point. Still early in the day, but the town is also close enough that it isn't unreasonable to make daytrips from there to the dungeon.

Oh, I thought it was farther than that. In that case, if you all don't mind that we might have to clear a few more goblins out of this place tomorrow, I'm fine with sleeping in an actual bed tonight.

Male Human Bard 1

I wouldn't mind hitting a few more rooms, if we get hit bad, we just stay a few days at the Inn. But loot and leave is always better then staying in an unknown dungeon with Gods knows what with ya

At the very least, we can poke around those two storage rooms before calling it a day.

Wolf-Sark heads back to the first storage room (door at Q34, I think) and starts looking through the material stored there.

Perception 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

At the risk of using a possibly broken rule...

Flash joins Wolf-Sark in his search and uses Detect Magic on the material as well.

I hope we're not waiting for everyone else to chime in "Me too, me too!" :-)

Male Human Bard 1

Sorry been busy catching up now.

Karth follows wolf-shark and searches the room

perception 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

Male Dwarf Rogue 1(Favored Class: Wizard)

Sorry, wasn't paying attention.

Rurik also thoroughly searches the room.

If the rest of you think we've got the time, taking 20 for a 25. If not, 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12

Sure, we can probably split up the room into pieces and take 20 on our individual piece. At the very least, we should be able to take 10 if there's no one threatening us right now.

Liberty's Edge

I'm afraid that some health issues that looked like they were minor last week spiked up badly enough that it has required some hospital time towards the end of last week. Right now, I'm not totally sure where things stand in that regard, whether I am going to be back on my feet in a relatively short time or if I'm mostly going to be out of comission for a while.

Unfortunately, either way it means I will probably be off the boards for a few weeks at least or maybe longer. There is nothing life threatening for folks to be worried about, but I'm all drugged up while I'm dealing with this and it makes it really hard to put together coherant thoughts(this post has already taken forever to try and make myself focus to get through it).

I've really enjoyed all my PbPs and hopefully you all understand my disapearance and accept my apology.

take care man, your health is the most important thing now. Don't worry 'bout us here.

No sweat; get well soon!

Male Dwarf Rogue 1(Favored Class: Wizard)

Damn. Hope you get better soon.

Male Human Bard 1

Not an issue man, get well soon
