Thanks to everyone for the congratulations! But we couldn't have done it without you! The ENnies are an awards by the fans and we couldn't have gotten any of these awards without the dedication and commitment of you guys! Yeah, I know that I am using lots of !!!!! in my post. I am a bit excited! :)

When we won the award for Best Publisher, I got a little misty eyed up on stage. It was just a year ago that we were releasing the last copies of Dragon and Dungeon and Paizo had a very uncertain future. But we poured our hearts and souls into our products and y'all have kept us in business by buying our products, evangelizing us to the uninitiated, and in short, helping us have the best year we have ever had. To defeat such stalwarts as White Wolf, Wizards of the Coast, and Green Ronin in the Best Publisher award speaks volumes for how far we have come in a single year.

I just wanted to take this moment to thank all of the incredible staff at Paizo who make my life SO much easier by making all the great products that we all enjoy. I always say that the key to success is surrounding yourself with great people, and I have some of the best ever at Paizo!

Likewise, you can't succeed without having awesome customers and y'all are some of the best I have ever seen in my 20+ years in this crazy industry. You make coming to work a real joy for me and my staff. Thank you!

Here's to an even better second year!

It's true.

I'll add my thanks to everyone here, and to all the Paizo customers for endorsing with their hard earned money this great company and the quality products it publishes for us.

These are our awards too!

Here, here!!! Congrats, Paizo!!! You guys (and gals) rule! (Btw, I voted for you).

Now, time to kick back and have a cold one! (Or four).

You...you've earned it.

You guys have my heartfelt congratulations. You worked hard, wrote awesome stuff, and you deserve all those awards.

And personally, I also worked hard - to make some cash to buy your stuff - and all of it has been worth it.

Yay Paizo!

I am, of course, always humbled that not only people like James, Mike McArtor (even though he is no longer staff), Erik, Vic, heck even Cosmo take so much of their own time to come onto the forums and talk to us, let alone you Lisa. As another note of positive feedback though, it is that very willingness and desire to know the hearts and minds of your fans that keep me coming back again and again and again. I don't want to speak for anyone, but I know there are some/many others on the forums who feel the same way and have said as much before.

Thanks again to everyone at Paizo and a hearty congratulations from me and the Chatroom, who watched the ENies unfold via CriticalHits Twitter.

Congrats Paizo Golem! You earned it!

Spoiler:
Note to Cosmo, I am not saying you aren't as fun as those guys, just that talking to us is partly your job... ^_^ Thanks to Allison too! Great time to join Paizo huh!?

Scarab Sages

Awesome!

I was too busy using the Gold Medal for Best Free Product to play the Silver Medal for Best Adventure, so I wasn't able to follow along online. This is awesome.

Congratulations, Paizo!
Congratulations, fellow Paizonos!

You do really deserve this. It's not every day one may be witness to such a high concentration of pure Awesome.

Keep on rocking and here's to next year, when you will break your own rekord. :)

And I didn't even have the chance to vote, what with being away all weak for the last 4 weeks and not having an internet connection at home at all the last two weekends.

Wait...

You were at the ceremony and didn't stop by to say hi?!?!?

Shameful. :)

Thanks for all the support, folks. It's been a hell of year, and this is quite the capper.

To think that last Gen Con we were just launching Pathfinder #1 and selling the last issue of the magazines.

Wow.

Couldn't happen to a nicer gaming company, and I mean that sincerely. You guys set the bar for both quality and customer service. Just imagine next year's GenCon!

I'm already working on getting permission from the wife to be there (with her) for our anniversary...darn that Indy timing.

YAY! Go Paizo!!

The Exchange

Congratulations, Paizo. It's good to see that your courage to go new ways has been rewarded so well. Others would have had problems to jump over the bar. And you just set it higher.

Scarab Sages

Congratulations Paizo!
Last year, when Dragon and Dungeon were taken away, I was bummed out. I took the plunge with you and transferred my remaining subscription of the magazines to Pathfinder, and I have been glad I did! Pathfinder is an excellent product. The adventures, the art, the setting, etc., demonstrate Paizo's commitment to excellence. The PF Chronicles line and the PF modules rock as well. When you announced The Pathfinder RPG and posted the alpha release, I literally jumped around like a buffoon in joy. Thanks for the quality work and your obvious love for the game and hobby.
Congratulations and Huzzah!

Congratulations Paizo! You've kept me as a happy customer for a few years now. I'm glad you're getting this well deserved recognition. Onward and upward!

Paizo Employee Director of Games

Wow, what an amazing night. My thanks to everyone here for the praise and congratulations. We could not have done it without the support of some of the best fans in the gaming world. Now is time for sleep.

Thanks again,

Congratulations Paizo! The Awards couldn't be more earned - I must say that in my 18+ years of Gaming I haven't bought any products that I felt were this great. I never had any regrets for my money spent at any paizo product (can't say that for any other company I gave my money...) and I never experienced a customer / producer connection that is as close (alas - via internet) as it is on this very site.
Thank you for enhancing (perhaps even enchanting) my hobby - and thank you on behalf of all my players for doing things right.

Hail Paizo! Conquerors of the ENnies! You guys deserve every one of those awards. My gaming friends and I take our collective hats off to you.

Liberty's Edge

Wow. That's really awesome, way to go. I can't believe you won so many awards. Definitely earned them.

Congratulations on a number of well-deserved wins. A year ago, I wasn't reading Dungeon or Dragon, and wasn't buying any 3.5 related materials at all. Then I saw Pathfinder #1 and, honestly, picked it up for the cover - Wayne Reynold's art intrigued me and I was curious about the contents.

And here we are a year later, and I'm subscribed all over the place and have a growing collection of excellent material. The production quality of Paizo products is top-notch in all areas, and I'm enthusiastic about supporting you guys for another year of excellence.

Thanks.

Congratulations, Paizo!

I can't wait to see what you've got planned for the year to come :)

I'd just like to say that even though I'm relatively new to these boards, as someone who has worked in this industry for eight years, it has been a long, long time since I've encountered a company whose material consistently blows me away because it is so compelling and high quality. Sure, I just started really delving into the books about a month ago, and man do I have a lot of reading to get caught up on, but the stuff I've read is top notch. Absolutely the most enjoyable fusion of game mechanics, world building, and story telling that I've seen in one place (literally) ever. I was an avid reader of the magazines, but it's plain to me that Pathfinder and Golarion have enabled Paizo to come into their own.

In other words, congratulations, you truly deserve these awards. And on that note, I think it's possible we may be witnessing the birth of the next gaming juggernaut. Just do me a favor and don't get too big.

Liberty's Edge

Congratulations Paizo! You have proven to be a high quality company that makes outstanding products that has and will continue to get my support. I'm looking forward to even more success in the coming years!

On my way back to the hotel to head to bed, I happened across Wayne Reynolds sitting in the bar drinking a pint. When I mentioned that his cover for Pathfinder #1 won the best cover art for an RPG product, he about flipped out with joy! :) It was fun giving him that news!

You don't need to worry about us getting too big. When Vic and I started the company, we set limitations on how many people we would be willing to have as employees. We both endured the rapid growth of Wizards of the Coast and don't want to go through that again. I need to know the names of all my employees and have a good idea about who they are and what they want in life. In short, I want a family type atmosphere. You lose that if you get too big. So as long as Vic and I are the owners, we will be happy to grow in the money we bring in, but we don't want to grow too big in number of employees.

-Lisa

I just wanted to add my own congratulations. I consider myself to be a Paizo evangelical, and I will continue to spread the Good News of Pathfinder in my travels and epistles! I am glad that so many other folks recognize the quality of Paizo's products.

Funny thing is, this topic comes up every few months, but nobody has had the time to get it done! I have quite a stack of past ENnies in my office. Looks like we will have to make time now! Wow! :)

Let me add my congratulations. Very well done.

Lisa and Paizo staff,

First of all my heartfelt congratulations on your fantastic wins. Consdiering how far you have come in just one year it is a truly amazing feat.

A year ago I was despondent with the cancelling of the magazines. Although I had been an inactive gamer, I had really enjoyed keeping up with the development of 3/3.5E, and Dragon and Dungeon were my window on the active gaming community. When they were cancelled and a new edition was announced I came very close to walking away from D&D as a hobby. You folks changed that.

I am so happy that I had enough money left in my subscriptions to get a copy of Pathfinder when it first came out. You folks revitalized my gaming experience. Your company is one of the best I have ever had an interaction with when it comes to customer service, and your messageboards are some of the most welcoming I have ever perused. Thanks to your excellent company I am enjoying gaming again, if only in PbP form, and for that if nothing else you have my heartfelt thanks.

Here's to a bright future ahead, many kudos, and I hope that you sweep the Ennies again in '09!

Very well done Paizo, and extremely well deserved!

I knew you'd get most of 'em though ;-)

The Exchange

I think it's actually a good thing you missed an award or two... becuse if you wouldn't have lost them, than keeping the high standrad nexyt year will be even tougher... but you are up to it of course.
Long live Paizo!

Dark Archive

My most heartfelt congratulations to the best company in the gaming business. These awards have to be tremendous validation for the incredible work you guys have put in the past year. When the magazines were cancelled it felt like the loss of an old friend that could never be replaced. In fact, it turned out to be exactly that. However, along came Pathfinder and became a new friend that I love as much and in many ways even more than the Mags.

I've said it 1,000 times at least. The thing that sets you guys a part is more than having the best talent, more than making the best products, more than working harder than everyone else. The thing that makes you the best company in the business is that you care about your fans more than anyone else. In todays corporate world of bottom lines at all costs and sales over anything else, you guys stand out as the one that does whatever it takes to take care of your fans. This is the first company I have ever seen where I can post a question on your message board and within a day get an answer from the CEO, Publisher, Managing Editor, Techinical Director, etc. etc. You have without a doubt set a new standard in customer service for the industry. When I company is that loyal to me as a customer, I have no problem making sure that I return that loyalty with my wallet.

You guys earned every one of those awards, and I can't wait to see what the next year brings. Mugs high my fellow Paizo fans. A toast to the Golem and the greatest company in the gaming industry. Huzzah!!!!

Many congratulations to all at Paizo for your well-deserved successes.

Stuck here in the UK, but consoling myself by being curled up writing my review of Pathfinder Beta... considerably superior to D&D 4e in my opinion.

Love and Hugs from Megan.
