About Jal Dorak
1993: Purchases first RPG book, D6 Star Wars: Imperial Sourcebook
1997: Introduced to AD&D 2nd Edition. My friends still regret that the way I regret introducing my dad to Minesweeper.
2000: Switches to 3rd Edition with purchase of PHB and later MM.
2004: Converts totally to 3.5.
2008: Rabidly buys up 3.5 material like it is going out of style.
2009: Playing a healthy mix of 3.5, Pathfinder, and Homebrew. Longing for an AD&D game.
Jal Dorak is the bane of his players' dice. They know invariably that no matter what damage they roll, his monsters will always end up with exactly 1 hit point left before doing something devastating to the party. This is not intentional, it just happens. Seriously.
His NPCs always act out their dialogue, and he prefers to distort his facial features relative to a monsters capability of speech.
Fear the power of his black/red-numbered d20.
Also, he plays Marvel FASERIP with reckless abandon. "Trench", a shapeshifting crab-man, is his current hero, who also happens to be a 16-year-old nerd with Telekinesis.
If you're wondering, his stats are derived from online ability score tests.
