Darnit, I really wanted to claim 500. Oh well, 600 is only 96 posts away!
Well- we could shoot for a ruling that every post from here on out has to have a key phrase or code word that has to do with Age of Worms.... To make it look relevant, while not really being relevant.. We could post 1001 reviews of Overload, time how long it took us to download and print Overload... OR .. I could just forget all this and go back to boozing. It's all you Sean!

Thursday Update
---------------Overload is laid out, proofed, and will go to WotC this afternoon for approvals. This could take ten minutes, or it could take a couple of days (I'm guessing 10 minutes). Either way, aside from uploading the file to the site, the approval is the absolute final stage, so we're getting veeeeery close, now.
Thanks all for your patience.

Okay Okay 10 minutes is up. Where is it?! Arrrgh!

Damn, gotta stop hanging out with zombies... :-)
Looks like it wasn't 10 minutes.

Hmm, wouldnt it be so funny if the overload wasnt out yet because they have so many emails to send, the delay might cost half a day....
This is part of the reason Gary was poking fun at me for volunteering to do the email. However, it should only take about 5 minutes to collect the email addresses and send the mail, assuming our email server doesn't go down like it did yesterday. : ]
Oh, and Erik's already volunteered to write the email so it'll be ready when the time comes, which rumor has it is as soon as WotC gives us the ok.

Okay, so I'm confused. Is the e-mail just a notification that the Overload is ready for D/L? Or is the pdf being e-mailed to us all?
Either way . . . sign me up.

Just sayin' :D

Oh, well. Since they're taking the LAN down at my office for the rest of the weekend, I'll have to wait until I get home to see it. I suppose my boss will appreciate the increased productivity, though. Maybe I can make models of Daggerford's buildings out of all the papers on my desk...hmmm....
Tell me about it! Here I am, supposedly working on my Ph.D. thesis and instead I'm wainting breathlessly for this pdf to come out. ARRRGH!
Seriously, I'm realy curious to read it, but since I'm not finished with other campaings, I can wait a few more days. Ah, who am I kidding? I want to read it NOW!

To be clear, I meant that the approval process could take as little as 10 minutes, not the actual posting of the file to the site.
The file is at WotC now, basically waiting for our contact to read the copyright information on the first page and give the thumbs up. I expect this to come first thing Friday morning, but since tomorrow is a company picnic day for WotC, it's possible that it could drag on to Monday.
Everything is ready to go. The minute we know, you'll know.

And hey, tomorrow afternoon is Paizo's summer employee swim party, so, you know, if WoTC sends the approval Friday, oh, say, at 12:05 p.m., when we're all eatin' burgers by the pool, sweatin' in the good ol' Pacific Northwest gorgeous summer.... why that dang Overload just might have to wait.... D'oh!!

Funniest thread ever..
sorry, but it is. I running my second group through whispering cairn tomorrow. First group was playtest and they loved it. Second group likes to personalize things more but 124 has most of what I need.
It would be super cool if overload was available before I bug out of work at 12 pm est but I can't begrudge wizards their summer picnic when I am taking half the day off myself to enjoy the beautiful weather.

But that would require geeks to go out in sunlight... I think we'll get it on friday...
of course... here's the question of the year... how's paizo's bandwidth when everyone is downloading this at the same time?
