"Therapy. I've been dealing with some existential angst recently for obvious reasons, so Mr. Grzlax here is helping me grapple with my self-image and changes to it."

Quote:foreign organizations who answered Ardax’s callWhomst?
(Question's rhetorical, obviously this will be revealed in the Player's Guide.)
Ardax Whitehair is the currently leader of most of the Orcs within Belkzen, having united them to push back the Whispering Tyrant's armies, and is the former right hand of Grask Uldeth, and current lord of Urgir.
He is middle-aged, a vicious combatant, and has been seen speaking with Sorshen and seeking alliances with the likes of Azaershi, and the Knights of Lastwall.

*sigh*
The question was what organizations answered and by extension what player character options would be included, not which were asked or who by (because, as you say, these are already stated in other books). And it's Azaersi.

In addition, the Pathfinder Society more than likely. The organization has a relationship with the orcs in the region dating back at least to Season 8 of PFS(1).

I'm thinking that there will be representation from the Pathfinder Society and the Knights of Lastwall, and possibly the Magaambya. The Firebrands and Hellknights wouldn't be too much of a surprise. For nations, Oprak and New Eurythnia are basically guaranteed, and I think that a surprise emissary from Highhelm might also show up. Said emissary might be carrying a most unusual message from a king long dead...

That would be from Dongun Hold more likely, wouldn't it?

It'd be nice to finally cash in the Donguni king's secret plan to make right with Belkzen.

It would be very cool to have a list of possible representatives, with the idea that the GM selects who shows up based on what kind of characters the players bring, choosing people that could align with and know the PCs already or be a foil to others.
I would not be surprised to see that in the Player's Guide.

Didn't she pass the letter along to Highhelm?

Also the Matanji from the Mwangi Expanse, come to think of it.

Does the start of this AP overlap with the ending for Prey for Death or does it take place fully after?
From what we know, it starts fully after. Curtain Call is the AP that the event is concurrent with.

Yeah...
Gorum was the only CORE deity to die, but a LOT of non-core deity will die too.

OH! I had missed that announcement, thank you for the clarification :) That simplifies some things for my table. Thanks!

"For ages, the orcs of Belkzen have been marginalized, subjugated, and vilified, relegated to the rocky northern wastes."
Could someone please send me where I can look to see where this lore is explored? I haven't looked into the region since Giant Slayer book 1, and hope knives did not give me this vibe at all. Most of the information I could find on the region back then painted a much, much, much darker picture than what I am seeing here. Have they released a source book on the region that changes things up or explains things a bit?

There's the 64-page setting book Belkzen, Hold of the Orc Hordes for Pathfinder 1st Edition.

The orcs of Avistan being in no small part a product of an ancient dwarven genocide of their people isn't new lore, but it's been more thoroughly explored with Lost Omens: Legends and Sky King's Tomb in 2e.

I seriously doubt that the dwarves ever had genocide in mind in their battles with the orcs. The dwarves were on the Quest For Sky, a quest set for them by their god, Torag. The orcs were just in the way, and reacted violently to the dwarves' appearance. If they'd just stood aside and let the dwarves pass through, there would probably never have been one battle, let alone many. But they're orcs. Orcs don't stand aside, ever.
