Is there a link for the remaster character sheet? I like the look of it and was hoping to try it out.
The book notes there will be a free download PDF. However, I don't think it's yet available. I'm sure they'll list it in a blog article.

I am working on its visibility. It was on the Pathfinder Playtest page, but that is over. I will ask that it live on the Core Preview page until November 15. After that it will be on the Pathfinder Landing page in the additional resources section. TriOmeagaZeros' link is direct too, of course.

Apologies if this has been asked already (it didn't come up in a search of the thread but my google-fu may just be bad) but are there any plans to create a conversion document that lists the changes between remaster and original PF2e. I think it would be particularly useful re: the spell list. I got a subscriber pdfs this week and it's a bit hard to tell what's gone, what's new, and what has just been renamed.

Any new cantrip spells that help with melee casters?
Ignition (new fire cantrip replacing Product Flame) does 2d6 fire damage in melee, whereas it does 2d4 fire damage at range. Also does 1d4 persistent fire damage on a crit (or 1d6 fire damage in melee).
Gouging Claw now does 2d6 slashing or piercing damage, and 2 persistent bleed damage on a hit. Double damage and double bleed damage on a crit.
Shield now blocks damage any damage from spells or magical effects, not just physical damage.

Only as a small question: should all subscribers already have their shipping mails?
Short answer: No, I don’t either.
Longer answer : Today (09/11 or 11/09) is the last day of shipping according to the customer service forum and Paizo are not open for business yet (how very dare they require sleep). So, if it’s still the case tomorrow, there may be a problem but I’d expect that thread to be updated if it’s the case.

Just a small note that both Ignition and Produce Flame will be useable in PFS.

Just noticed that Snare Crafting still appears on the Crafting feat table but I think I remember hearing snares were out the window, plus the actual feat isn’t present
They forgot to move that feat to Player Core 2
GnG and Grand Bazaar also have snares, so don't worry, unlike Tattoos!

If I joined the rulebook sub and began with Rage of Elements, would all the books ship at once or only ship one book at a time, etc? How does that work?
Not sure what the default is, but I am sure that if you email customer service at the same time as you start your subscription they'll set shipping up pretty much however you'd like.

Since we are shipping all 3 rulebooks now, we will try to use the most cost effective method, unless you email us with instructions.

Probably a bit late and also a question in vain, but could the Day Zero Errata be incorporated into the PDFs on official release?
Instead of being some extra text on the website?
Where have you heard of "Day Zero" errata? It's not something that they often do, and I feel like their schedules might be a bit too crowded right now, from what I heard. (I'm not attacking you, I'm legit curious. Just making it clear cause internet is bad at carrying tone.)

To note, this book was conceived, written, edited, printed and shipped in 10 months total... a conservative estimate would put the printing/shipping process to minimum 3 months. So about 7 months of work on the books. Usually, they do that in 2 years for a book.
AND they also did the GM Core at the same time. And part of teh Monster Core too. While also thinking and conceiving Player Core 2.
It's... a *miracle* that they have anything ready that soon, with only very small changes to the rest of their book schedules. And yeah, sadly, this rushing will unevitably affect the other books they were writting at the same time.
Oh, also, in this case, they probably had to do a big "legal ramification" analysis, and consulting with lawyers, probably with some back and forth...

My guess would be that FoundryVTT asked a bunch of question about some things and how to implement, and Paizo decided to send the answers to all the VTT partners ore something similar. xD

I may have found a typo in Player Core. Under the Sustain an Effect exploration activity on page 439, it says "Sustaining an effect that requires making complex decisions, such as spectral weapon, can make you fatigued, as determined by the GM."
I couldn't find any other reference to "spectral weapon". Perhaps this was intended to be the "Spiritual Armament" spell?
(Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.)

Honestly, I find it confusing and a little frustrating that "nephilim" is used as a singular noun in this book when other 2e beings like the einherjar have been pretty good about fixing that error. -im is a plural suffix, and while religious texts always refer to the nephilim in plural it's easy to extrapolate "nephil" or something similar from it.

I really like Pathfinder 2, but I feel that Paizo still overlooks the gameplay experience of casters in 2r. Often, the probability of a caster's spell attack hitting or an enemy failing their save is only about 35 to 40 percent (and this is even for some regular enemies). Casters lack runes to enhance their spells, and powerful enemies often have some degree of spell resistance or higher save bonuses. This leads to casters often only serving as a role to advance the plot, with their role in combat limited to supporting warrior allies. And I think it's an even worse idea to have casters engage in melee combat.

I do kinda feel like there should be at least one token cantrip with gimmick of "spell attack 1d4 + spellcasting modifier damage, scales worse than other cantrip, single action"
Since it would basically be equivalent of 1d4 ranged weapon with bit higher damage but without ever getting item bonuses either way :p
(I guess it wouldn't matter much if it scaled like other cantrips did since accuracy and 1d4 dice would limit it anyway, but I assume developers don't want to do one action spell attack cantrip that would over shadow two action cantrips)

No. There are two ways to get the pdf of a Pathfinder rule book: buy it, or subscribe to one of the Pathfinder Rulebook or Pathfinder Rulebook Special Edition lines. And in the latter case you only get the pdf if the rulebook in question is not past its release date.

You could also buy it from a 3rd party like Demiplane and that'll give you the pdf as well.

Mika Hawkins wrote:Announced for November! Product image and description are NOT final and may be subject to change. What sort of turnaround can we expect on a new release of the PDF with all of the day 1 errata corrected?
PDF will not get the errata until the books are reprinted. Adding errata into a book requires reformatting that book to make sure everything lines up, and they only do that when they do a print run.

I said "buy it". I didn't say from whom. :-)
