CONTENT WARNING
Malevolence presents a fully detailed haunted house—a place filled with horror, tragedy, and elements that some players might find uncomfortable. These elements include body horror, filicide, domestic violence, gore, mental illness, mental trauma, mutilation, physical trauma, and suicide. Before you run this adventure, understand that consent from everyone at the table, including the players and the Game Master, is vital to a safe and fun play experience. You should talk with your players before beginning the adventure and modify descriptions or events as appropriate.

Good idea showing the content warning here, but I think it might make sense to put the warning or lack thereof in the product description, though.
I agree, but I don't have the ability to edit that section. One I can do at 10:00 at night and the other takes a committee. I do what I can to be expedient and then work internally to make long term progress.

Why does the print preorder version say unavailable?
Probably additional shipping delays for the physical books. Aaron Shanks did mention some of the books still hadn't arrived in their warehouse and that they might have to delay it further from last night's Paizo Live, so that might be it.

Did they say if those of us with subscriptions still get access to the PDF?

You'd have to ask Roll20 about that. Paizo generally does not elicit support from 3PP, but will work with them on licensing and such if they reach out to Paizo about it. OTOH, it is interesting to note that Roll20 recently said that they are happy to host anything Paizo wants them to if Paizo reaches out to them. So, it seems unclear how Paizo products make their way to the VTT.

The only discussion I've seen seemed to suggest they've changed that policy and that if a product has no subscription associated with it then there will not be a free PDF granted when purchasing the print copy.
The staffmember who said that qualified it somewhat so it may not be true. However, I'd recommend getting a concrete answer before buying this if not getting the free pdf is a dealbreaker for you.

Not a direct answer to your question, but this was stated over on the Ruby Phoenix side of things and I would assume (sadly) that the same words apply here:

They make their own decisions about what products the make available. I have no indication that they are working on this one at this time. If that changes we will promote it.

All our VTT partners—indeed all our licenses partners—have equal access to our products and they each determine their own products and timelines. They also have equal access to our API that syncs the PDFs you have bought on our site with their stores so that you don't have to pay twice. We may release a product and they may make it available at launch or months later. I don't have a complete report on everything Roll20 or any VTT is working on. We promote their products when they have launched. I think it is more likely they will convert a standalone adventure like this than an AP, but that is just my opinion.

I think this adventure is one of the things they don't have in the warehouse yet. See the April 2021 subscriptions thread in the customer service forum.

This is great, how do we do that? Is there some option when you buy it on the VTT? I don't remember seeing this when I re-bought Plaguestone. Thanks!

Only have experience of Fantasy Grounds but there is an option on the store to sync your Paizo account and then anything you buy for FG that you already own a Paizo PDF for is heavily discounted. Don't know how that works for other VTTs

Sign in to your Roll20 account, click your user name in the upper right hand corner, select "my account" and scroll down a bit. There should be a "Roll 20 Account Sync" section with instructions.

The April cargo container at the Port of Seattle has issues, goblin raid or something. There is no reason to believe the May products will be delayed. Once the products make it to our warehouse we need to ship them to distributors, then subscribers (who will get PDFs then), then they go on sale for individual PDF and print purchases. The goal is to have retailers get the products the same time we release them to public. Look to the pinned Customer Service thread for more updates.

About how long will it take to get PFS Sanctioned.
I'm expecting as soon as it is released. Latest May Update essentially said they're just waiting on it to begin shipping.
We also intend to release the sanctioning for Pathfinder Adventure: Malevolence in the next week, once the warehouse is able to begin sending out the book to customers.
Huge Kudos to the Org Play team so getting content sanctioned so quickly.

Malevolence is listed in the June subscriptions post, so one would think it would not be pushed back to July, but to June. OTOH, the end shipping date for that month is July 2nd, and the release date is a few days after that, so I guess you can take your pick.
As for other things, there's the two "One-Shot" adventures (Sundered Waves and Dinner At Lion Lodge). The first is available now, and is 5th level, the second will be available the end of this month and is 4th level. No 3rd level stand-outs, afaik. Maybe take a look at the PFS scenarios.

Worth pointing out that there is no actual date set in stone. It is in the June subscription post, but as a Tentative product. The books are still held up at the port. Until they arrive, the date here will keep getting pushed back unfortunately. For those interested in the release date, I'd recommend following the April/May/June release posts in the customer service section as any updates have been going there (Linked below)

I see that the module was pushed back again to July. I’ve had some players waiting to play for a while, and are getting antsy. Anyone have any recommendations for a good adventure for 3rd level characters to tide them over until the Malevolence comes out?
I'm converting Feast of Ravenmoor over for a quick game to hold them over. It's 1e so there's a tiny bit of legwork. I think all but one monster has a 2e counterpart and even that one I will probably just adapt a type from Age of Ashes to fill a similar role.

Deleted some posts. There's no reason to bicker or bite at each other or speculate on these products any further. They have delivered to our warehouse and are scheduled for release on 7/7/21.
Let's try to remember that we all share a fondness for games and while that passion can bubble out in a lot of ways, the more we focus it in constructive and positive ways, the more we will all benefit from it.
