I hope that if this book is successful, Paizo will re-release all the books, like one a year or something like that
This goes beyond not likely to straight up never happening. It's been almost a decade since this was originally published and almost all the physical copies are out of print.
If people knew they could just wait a year to buy the whole thing for cheaper than the 6 individual parts than Paizo would suffer IMMENSELY.

Yeah, maybe one compilation every 5 years is something I could look forward to.
This veers back into a slight "maybe, but not likely".
PEOPLE! IF YOU WANT MORE HARDCOVERS BUY ALL THE PRINTS.
IF THE ADVENTURE PATH DOESN'T SELL THEN YOU NO GET HARDCOVER.
And then even if they don't do a Hardcover you still have the AP to play and run :3

Dear James.
With the "Guide to Korvosa" out of print (and 3.5), i imagine it kind of hard to breathe life into the city.
Could we get a reprint or update for it?
For the RotR Anniversary Edition you published the "Players Guide: Varisia" and a flip-mat of Sandpoints "Town-Square".
Can we expect something like this for CotCT?
I just bought the "CotCT map pack on amazon for €13 (it is out of print too).
I am glad, that i have some Gray Maiden and Shoanti minis but how high is the possibility of "Pathfinder Battles" products for this?
One or 2 boxed sets (like Iconic Heroes) would be great, as would a "Pawns" set - the art is already there and Paizo published one for RotR too.
Thank you for making this hardcover conversion!

Will there also be encounter releases for this complete adventure for HeroLabs?
Also, will this Adventure be one of the first items for Realm Works content Market?
I definitely will get the hardcover, but to be able to also have this integration within Realm Works and HeroLabs will definitely be great.

See, this is where I come to a different conclusion with the data. I see Paizo slowly releasing all the APs as hardcovers. What will drive that?
(a) conversions: 3.5--->Pathfinder rulesets will get preferential treatment, for obvious reasons. Also, older APs will get preferential treatment because Paizo can take that unarmed themed fighter and turn him into a Brawler, etc... This, in turn, will drive sales of other books up (because you'll need/want those books to go with the revised AP.
(b) sales: APs that have sold out of physical copies *cough* Kingmaker *cough* will get preferential treatement over those that haven't sold. If they've sold out and people keep requesting reprints, then its in their financial interest to reprint.
There will probably be other reasons - fan interest, creativity on the forums (for mods, etc...). But if you look at the big picture, there's a limit of how many rules Paizo can stuff into this game - how many prestige classes, how many magic items... The big, untapped frontier is Golarion itself and the stories they can tell with the very robust ruleset that they've spent the last decade putting together.
So I expect to see a hardback AP every year to take the place of something else.

I doubt it will be every year. Every other year, tops. Campaign Setting Hardback on odd years, compiled AP on even years, and the only APs that get compiled, updated, and re-released are ones that sell out completely, so Kingmaker Revised in 2018.
Hopefully Inner Sea Planes in 2017, too.

As with Runelords, my philosophy for updating it is to maintain and retain... don't change things unless it makes absolute sense to change things.
At least tell me this includes converting Blackjack to a Swashbuckler. Because after we finished I asked my GM, and he told me the class breakdown, which was very clearly trying to be a Swashbuckler.

Actually I i'm pretty sure it will be Vigilante.

A) reiterating the above post and JJ's statements, aside from updating to Pathfinder they don't go out of their way to change classes or add archetypes. Very few if any NPCs have this happen to them. And your reasoning for "driving sales up" is EXACTLY Paizo's reasoning for NOT doing that. They want people to play the game, and if you buy all the books cool, but having all the books to even play in the first place is not and should not be required.
B)Which is what the Hardcover well, covers.
C)Whixh is what Paizo is already doing with everything else they're already putting out.

That was really nice of Paizo to give you access to all of their internal sales data thus giving you the actual information you need in order to come to the opposite conclusion of their trained professionals.

I had been planning to make him a Mysterious Avenger Swashbuckler, the blatantly obvious choice, until the Vigilante came out.
Now, I'm actually kind of glad my campaign died in book one so I can restart it with this book.

Except that new content sells better than revamped. So it makes more sense to keep writing new stuff and only revisit old content when there is space that would not be better taken by new content. Which doesn't happen very often, judging by the time between RotR and CotCT.

The game's not actually dead, we just had to switch from AP to modules since the group couldn't get together often enough to remember details. Now when I'm ready to run it again, I'll get to use the new book.

Curse of the Crimson Throne will have a sizable appendix that gives lots of information about Korvosa, particularly how Korvosa exists under the situation that develops in the AP. As such, it complements the Guide to Korvosa well, and reprints a little bit of info, but that book remains useful for expanding and presenting more info on the city.
At this point, there are no plans to reprint the book, nor are the plans to do Crimson Throne Related flip mats. We'll have some other announcements about some support stuff eventually.

Rerailing! I wonder what all new character options we're going to get.
Not a lot, and they're ones that serve first to support unusual NPCs in the book. That they work for PCs is a happy side effect.

Will it be on the fast track like RotRL.
Yes, it has to be, since 3.5's XP progression was even faster than our fast track, and if we were to put it on the fast track, we would have had to add 1 or maybe 2 more adventures. Which would nave made the book PHYSICALLY too big to do.

You can expect to be disappointed every year then, since we don't have plans of doing an Adventure Path compilation every year. I certainly don't want to work on one every year, that's for sure!

I see Paizo slowly releasing all the APs as hardcovers.
They release a new AP twice a year. To do 'all the APs' in hardcover will require an 'average' output of two hardcovers a year.
Outside of all of the other given reasons you're overlooking*, that's an impossible schedule to keep up with.

Agreed a Vigilante would make more sense.
What I am actually hoping for is more traits! I like the current traits very much, but I wish there were ones that lent themselves to more opportunistic and immoral characters.
There won't be more traits; the traits that exist do a great job at encouraging the type of characters that work best with Crimson Throne. An opportunistic and/or immoral character could certainly work with this campaign, but it'd require more work on the GM's part to keep that type of character motivated with the plot, and therefore traits, which exist to steer players in the best thematic direction for the AP at hand, would be doing a disservice to the campaign if they suggested immoral or opportunistic PCs was an on-theme choice.

This has always been one of my favorite APs and I'm glad it's getting the RotRLAE treatment. The steeple chase in "Edge of Anarchy" continues to be my favorite set piece in all of Paizo's publication history. That said, I certainly hope some of the encounters and maps get updated, especially in the later-half of the campaign.
