I would say no. MM is at the Waterfront now, and can attempt the check against the Bandit if we get there. We don't have much time, so heading to the Glassworks is probably the better option.
Powers
If undefeated, discard the top card of your deck. Then, each character at this location must succeed at a Constitution/Fortitude 7 check or be dealt 1d4-1 Poison damage.
If defeated, you may immediately attempt to close this location.
Discard BotG for Dex check.
Blessed Skinny Fingers! v Trap (5):1d8 + 1d8 ⇒ (4) + (7) = 11
Never had a doubt!
I'll choose to close location:
Arcane + Recharge Fox (ARC 7):1d10 + 1 + 3 + 1d4 ⇒ (2) + 1 + 3 + (2) = 8
I remain awesome! End and Draw Up:

Discard something else, the Sacred prism can be buried to heal some cards mate
I will cure you next time I can!
He couldn't because he only had two cards - the Mace and the Prism.
If I can suggest, can we retroactively say you would have used the Prism first? If we'd been at the table, I'd have suggested you use it and then explore, just because you were at the limit.
My intention in discarding the mace was to forgo the burying of the prism which can't get healed back. I started this scenario on death's doorstep and another bury hurts!
But alas, I'm morally corruptible so here goes my healz roll:
Heal me! (Please don't let Karma play into this roll:1d4 ⇒ 2
From the left: BoA, Longsword, Blessing of Shax, BoA,Blessing Baphomet Card 1, Card 2:1d5 ⇒ 41d4 ⇒ 4
We'll assume combat went as before.
From the left: BoA, Longsword, Blessing of Shax, Mace
Free Heal!:1d4 ⇒ 1
End and Draw up (for real this time):

Heavy Pick, Discarded (6=>7) v. Giant Fly (9):1d12 + 1 + 1d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (8) + 1 + (2) + (6) = 17
Well. Bye, Fly. See you again shortly, I'm sure...
I stay put and end my turn:
Recharge Heavy Pick (Scen. Rules)
Oh if I had seen that, I would have taken liberties!

Well this went off the rails quickly.
[dice=I clench my fists together and slam down hard on the plant's "face"]1d10+1+2[/dice]
If plants could laugh, it would at me... 10 Damage.
I bury my Elven Breastplate to reduce it all.
I cast Instant Armor(banished) to Recharge the Breastplate instead.
I hang my head in shame.
I end my turn and draw up:

I head to the Warrens to sprinkle some Magic on that ghost in the form of a Force Missile to his/her incorporeal face! (I care not for the triggered effect, hohoo!)
Force Missile(12):1d10 + 3 + 2d4 ⇒ (9) + 3 + (1, 4) = 17

I discard my loyal Sage to explore my location!
at this point I've been going to my personal campaigns page (http://paizo.com/people/cosined/campaigns) to see what threads have updates. Its pretty concise and I don't think I've missed anything yet since I've been looking at it first.
Who could that be? ::whistles::
I wouldn't mind taking it in lieu of the Potion of Striding, since I have a power that is for the most part superior save the defeat a bane requirement (But that's totally my thing!)
While not exactly the same, I have a group that has had additions as we've played, and those new characters are made by the AD-2 rule, but get all the feats up to that point.
Yeah it actually makes sense after reading through it several times.
So I can always play these kind of cards for other players' checks, when it's not my turn, right?
Sorry for being so stupid. I just don't want to play this game wrong.
You can play it whenever the situation allows: your check against an ally, another character's check against an ally at your location, etc. This includes the occasional check to close a location via an ally acquisition.
And don't worry about all the questions. I think a large number of forum dwellers actually enjoy discussing the minutia of the rules and are always happy to do so.
[dice=I am saying to Snowflake, "Akay!... Akay Akay Akay?" und he is saying "AKay Akay!" und he is up on ze tail "Eeeeeeeeee!" und you can quote him!]1d8[/dice]
Well that was anticlimactic.
End my turn, draw up:

I'll add the new locations now that I know that there are four of us continuing on. This one is back to normal with six different locations.
Since this looks like it might be a continuing thing, I might have to go out and get the Wizard class deck! It's the only one (well, besides the new Monk one) that I don't have.
Play-by-forum needs to be a bigger thing!
I'm still working out how I'll accomplish this, but I'm hoping to run Ron Lundeen's Shield of Rannick Adventure Path after the new year via forum. It'll probably be a class-deck based attempted, but I'll have to see how the rewards works for his campaign.
