Rules:
1) Playing out of the WotR box.
2) Can choose any character that has been published.
3) I won't be posting Powers text as we all own the box and there has been a discussion about what exactly can be revealed about a PACG card even the Community Use Policy.
Otherwise, we'll play it like we've done the SoS playthroughs.
I'm leaning towards playing Imrijka, Adowyn, or Alain.

Heavy Pick, Longspear, Longspear, Longsword, Mace,
Frigid Blast, Lightning Touch,
Hide Armor, Leather Armor,
Blood Periapt, Potion of Striding,
BoA, BoA, BoA, BoA
Depending on how Seelah and Mystery Malcolm load-out, I might swap out the Heavy Pick for a Mace or Longsword.

What do you guys think of Shardra?
Shardra is good for scouting things out with her Knowledge checks. The only problem is that Seelah and Imrijka are Divine characters. Admittedly, they are only minor Divine casters, so that might not be a bad thing.
We don't have any Stealth so Adowyn or Harsk would be useful there. Adowyn gives us the scouting that Shardra would.
Having said all that, I think Shardra can be useful, so if you want to play her, go ahead.

If the character add-on deck is used, the B adventure deck includes:
3x Longspears2x Longswords
3x Maces
Between us we need 4 and 5 weapons.
We currently both are claiming a Longsword and 1 Maces is unclaimed.
How do you want to resolve it? Thought:
Since I'm taking the Heavy Pick, we could split the 8 1d8-based evenly:
Seelah: Longspear, Longsword, Mace; Extra Mace
Crowe: Longspear, Longsword, Mace; Extra Longspear
I like the longspear because it might get me out of trouble when I use my bury ability.
FYI: Kyra would complicate this further.

I do have a question about using the character add-on deck. We obviously get some more weapons which appears to be where we're deficient starting out, but then you add in a few more of those spreader banes - one more Demonic Horde, one more Carrion Golem, one more Arboreal Blight.
The B scenarios are supposed to be slightly easier if you don't include the Character add-on unless you're playing 5-6 characters which we aren't.
If Crowe takes something other than his 2nd longspear and Seelah takes something other than her 2nd long sword, then we can stick with just the base set for banes/boons.
Kyra and Shardra both just need one weapon and that should be doable.
Adowyn would be ranged weapons, so then her and Imrijka would fight. I'd probably give up one of my Hand Crossbows and take another Javelin.

How about adding the Character Add-on but leaving one Arboreal Blight, one Carrion Golem, and one Demonic Horde out until Adventure 1? The Elven Entanglement (B-2) is the scenario that worries me with every play through because I've never done it in less than three tries in my two playthroughs (one 4-player and one solo).

And I'm going to make an executive decision that I'll allow the three C cards that we have (Sagacity, Mace, Longspear) but I'll still restrict the B scenarios to only have the B boons and banes. We'll add in the rest when we get to Adventure 1.
Now that we have the characters and starting decks ready, I'll get the first scenario set up and post it later tonight.

good point.
How strict do we want to be?
When I'm playing solo, I just restart the scenario with no upgrades. And I've never had a character die in my group plays before (other than OP). We've always just played out the scenario before he/she died.
I think the best is if a character dies, then that player gets to bring in a new character with the feats that we have all achieved, but can only set their deck according to our AD# - 1? So if you die in Bs - only Basics, die in AD1 - any Bs, die in AD2 - Bs and 1s, etc.
I'm open to any other suggestions.

I hate to bring this up because I haven't started scanning my S&S AD2 cards yet, but with the Season of the Runelords being released yesterday, are you guys interested in starting a third campaign? I'd really like to take one of the Barbarians through that.
Short Answer: Yes
Long Answer: Yeeeeees.
I only have decks from the original 7 right now so I'll be picking a character from one of those; I play solo and I was buying WAY more product than I could possible get plays out of. As is, I don't think I ever beat ROTR, and WOTR is kicking my butt time-wise: damn armies with 4 characters is like solving simultaneous linear equations from HS.

Yes, I have all of the product. ;( Like you, I play solo and with my family when my oldest is home from college. But almost all of my play has been with you three on the forums!
