I cannot be dispelled. It is "D&D" (or in this case Pathfinder) permanent, meaning it is permanent until it isn't. Stone to flesh would work... Bathing the subject in fresh basilisk blood (per the Bestiary entry on pg 29) would work... I think Break Enchantment would work but I would have to look it up.
Matthew Downie wrote: The usual example given is that if you attempt the DC one billion Acrobatics check to jump to the moon, a natural 20 shouldn't automatically succeed. It wouldn't take a billion checks... simply taking 20 (two minutes) would guarantee a jump to the moon succeeded. This is why a natural 20 is NOT a automatic success (nor is a 1 an automatic failure) on a skill check.
Ravensgray, You are over complicating the situation. As has been pointed out, there is no facing rules in Pathfinder, nor should there be. Combat is hectic and fluid. Combatants are looking in all directions assessing threats. Just cast the spell at the target, you can even shout, "Hey, look over here!" as you cast the spell to get their attention if it makes you feel better.
I am still flummoxed that within the entirety of the Advanced Class Guide there was not Mage/Thief analog. Point is, there are niches to be filled. Does it have to be with a full 20 level class like the Class Guide? No, archetypes can be wonderful for filling these desires. I agree that a Magus archetype could be designed to fulfill the roll of Arcane Archer. I might come up with one for my home games...
I have a society character that hails from Ustalav. He is a hunter of monsters and things that go bump in the night very much inspired, thematically, by Hugh Jackman's Van Helsing. Mechanically he is a ninja. He has never been to Tian Xia and wouldn't know what you were talking about if you tried to call him a Ninja. Flavor is mutable.

Sheogorath says this thread makes his teeth itch... Do not disallow them their plan. Let them kill him and, as has been pointed out, have him decline to acquiesce to their offer of revival. When the reincarnation fails and they try speak with dead have them run a (high) risk of speaking with the wrong personality that knows nothing of the information they need. Never disallow players their ideas... just don't let them play out the way they think they will. ;)
Pathfinder is not a video game. There is NOTHING preventing you from putting on a second necklace. Only one of them will function, but nothing physically prevents the wearing of a 2nd, 3rd, or hell go all Mr. T. on it and wear 50lbs of necklaces... only one of the magic ones is going to work though. To say you CANNOT put on a second necklace? Really? I will reiterate. Pathfinder is NOT a video game. There is no computer code of 1's and 0's preventing your character from putting on a second necklace. To answer the original question, as others have said one would work and the other(s) would not. Choose wisely which one is currently functioning.
No disagreement there deusvult. I was simply answering the direct question regarding alignment. I did not go into the gray areas of how things are perceived and presented. You simply cannot have Evil listed on your character sheet. You can absolutely play a LN cleric of Asmodeus and "tow the line" if you wish. But be prepared to justify your actions to a questioning GM if you tend to hang out on the darker side of said line. This is not meant to dissuade, merely to inform.
You cannot play Evil aligned characters in Pathfinder Society. It is expressly prohibited in the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play. From the guide (Pg. 9)

They will know names of key NPC's and some story info from the adventure cards. I am currently playing Rise of the Runelords and have played through the first deck of the adventure card game with my son. I didn't really see anything that if feel spoils anything. Like I said, just NPC names and some vague story info.

[Note: No monkeys were harmed during this analogy] First, get a cage large enough to hold five monkeys and a step ladder. You will also need some bananas and a high pressure water hose. Place the step ladder in the middle of the cage and hang a banana from the top of the cage. Now put the five monkeys in the cage. They will, of course, go for the banana. One will win out. Turn the hose on the ones who failed to retrieve the banana [see note above]. Continue this process until the monkeys learn they cannot have the banana. Now, put away the hose. You do not need it anymore. Remove one monkey and replace it with a new monkey. This monkey has never been exposed to the hose. He does not know he cannot have the banana. When he goes for the banana the others will stop him, probably violently. Continue to replace monkeys until you have five new monkeys that have never been exposed to the hose. In fact, the hose does not even exist anymore. They will not go for the banana. They do not know why. It has just always been that way. Moral of the story... doing something just because its the way it has always been done is not necessarily a good approach.
Feats are like skill points. I never have enough of them. In my home games with my sons we utilize the hero point system and I frequently choose the anti-hero option for an extra feat. Granted, we house rule that it is actually a feat every 5 levels as one feat for the versatility that is the hero point system seems lack luster. It isn't uncommon for me to grab things like cosmopolitan or other more flavorful and less meaty feats.
If a natural 20 was a success on skill checks then on a 20 a peasant with a gimp leg could jump to the moon. This way lies silliness. Or... maybe that is how the cow did it?
Or, as others have put it, natural 20's are not automatic successes nor are 1's automatic failures with regards to skill checks.

James, I love that change! Consider that bit of renaming genius stolen for my home games.
Yes, I know what he was referencing. It is the space in the magic section that expands on the bit called out in the invisiblity spell. Basicaly it ensures that hostile spells are counted as "attacks" for purposes of breaking invisibility and being generaly hostile. That is why is says they are "condidered" attacks. However, it does not make them "Attacks" as defined in the combat section. Sneak Attack requires an attack roll. The exception is the Arcane Tricksters Surprise Spells ability. That is simply how it works. /shrug
Rikkan wrote:
That is an interesting stance, but I am not the one house ruling. Sneak attack requires an attack. Making an attack requires an attack roll. A Fireball (or other aoe spell such as burning hands) does not constitute making an "attack" by the general rules as it requires no attack roll (note: I am not implying that hitting someone with a fireball isn't a hostile action, just that it does not fall under the "attack" category as defined in the book). Such spells are called out via a specific rule in the Invisibility spell as counting as an attack based on the text, "For purposes of this sepll, an attack includes any spell targeting a foe wor whose area or effect includes a foe". This is expressly so that such spells break invisibility. AOE spells such as fireball do NOT get sneak attack damage via general rules. If it worked the way you imply then the Arcane Tricksters "Surprise Spell" ability would be useless, which it isn't. This ability specificaly allows what you are implying is general rule and does so via s specific rule. It is, to my knowledge, the ONLY way to apply sneak attack to an aoe type spell that requires no attack roll.
My son, Lord Ulgier aka "Uglier" had a blast at this event. I think it was actually his favorite at the con. It was a blast seeing him make the semi finals! Just wanted to say thank you to everyone involved for making it a great game. Tempestorm
I have only had issues with two books, "Gods and Magic" and "Sword of Valor". Gods and Magic I was borrowing from a friend when it fell apart so I just bought him a new one and kept the damaged one. Sword of Valor on the other hand was part of my subscription and fell apart the first time I opened it. Contacted Paizo and they sent a new one with my next shipment.
Quote: Can you use a hollow pommel to put a wand in a sword? Absolutely, if you house rule it. As a simple storage area for a wand I see no problem with this at all. I have played a wizard before that kept his bonded wand inside his cane similar to a sword cane. (for pop culture reference see Lucius Malfoy from the Harry Potter stories. His wand is sheathed inside his cane.) Quote: Can you use the wand while the wand is inside the sword? Absolutely, if you house rule it. There is nothing saying that this works nor is there anything saying it does not work. What it does, however, is get around a bit of action economy. Is this a bad thing? Maybe, maybe not. Or you could utilize the weaponwand spell which is a magical means of doing what you are suggesting. So, to summarize... yes, if you house rule it.
The class name is irrelevant. My "Witch" in my RotRL game is a Priest of Nethys to anyone who asks. He no more considers himself a witch than he considers himself a duck. ;) I also play a "Barbarian" who is a civilized aristocrat whose passion and profession is acting. He can have a bit of a temper at times, but don't most of the aristocracy? I also have a "ninja" in society play who wouldn't know what a ninja was if you asked him. He is a monster hunter, he hunts monsters. He just happens to be good at hidding himsel and striking from unseen positions. Oh, and he can climb walls like a spider. ;) Finally, the term "Witch" can either be gender specific or not depending on who you ask. And, as has been pointed out, the term "Warlock" does not neccesarily mean "male witch". It tends to have rather twisted conotations. An archaic meaning of the word was "oathbreaker". So, take it for what you will and call your character what you will. You can have a female or a male witch or you can have a witch character that calls themselves sorcerer or grand high pubah of the magical dandelion. It does not really matter. People get too hung up on names of classes and try to limit said classes based on their perception of what that name entails.
I have a question regarding Skulgrym. His "During Combat" tactics states that he opens by casting Silence on his axe. Then he casts hold person... deeper darkness... summons reinforcements, teleports, casts regenerate, vampiric touch... rinse and repeat as necessary. All of these are spell-like abilities... how is he casting them in silence? Is this an error in the tactics or am I missing something? Edit: Also, where does his 2d6 sneak attack come from? ;)
To the original poster, yes. You are worrying too much. As has been pointed out Dungeons&Dragons has guns... AD&D had guns... 2nd Edition AD&D had guns... 3rd Edition had guns... Why do people seem shocked to find that Pathfinder has guns? It's not new. It's not innovative. It's same old same old. Also, having guns in Pathfinder is not anachronistic because Golarion is not Earth and thus Earth timelines are irrelevant when determining if somethings chronological inconsistency. Now I understand everyone may not be playing in Golarion but unless you are playing on Earth in a specific timeline that is intended to mimic historical accuracy and then, for some reason, seed in elements from a different time period with the express intention of creating an anachronism then nothing in your game can be said to be anachronistic. Bottom line... NOTHING in the setting is anachronistic. Not guns, not printing presses, not Numerian tech... nothing. Why? Because everything detailed in the setting fits the chronology of the setting, thus it cannot be said to be an anachronism.
I just love that it seems everyone in the "kingdom"* of Varisia (still trying to figure out when Varisia got one) knew about this mythical tribe of good and literate but non-common speaking goblins pacafists... except the party. *I'm honestly curious about this. How did it come about? How is it handled in game? Who is the King? Is Magnimar, the "Free City" the capital? What happened to the Mayor? Is the Mayor the King? Is Korvosa pissed that they are no longer a city state? What happened to their King/Queen (depending on time line)? Are they now a duke/duchess? Is Kaer Maga pissed that they are no longer a city state? Did the King ban troll seers and zombie slaves in Kaer Maga? As I said, I am truly curious how a Varisian "Kingdom" is adjuticated.
I love how certain points keep getting glossed over with no answer... Why do these "Good", and apparently literate, goblins not speak common... none of them... not a one. What language were they learning to read and write in I wonder? Why did Shelalu not mention this tribe to the adventures? Especialy since she would have to know that they only speak goblin and can't communicate with others which is bound to lead to some misunderstandings and dead goblins. Goblins are, per the bestiary, evil. Goblins are, per Golarian, evil. You can quote the write up about alignment being not absolute all you want, which is a general rule. But the specific bit (the bit that overrides the general) is that golbins and their kin are a special kind of evil (just read their entry). Can you have outliers? Of course, there can always be exceptions even whole tribes of them. But unless you set up some precedent to the norm don't be surprised at the outcome. Could the adventurers have noticed that these particular goblins weren't hostile and were no threat? Only if the DM adequetly set the scene and described as such. Which I am not saying was or was not the case. Either way players paying any attention should have noticed that there was no attempt to fight back (which boggles my mind... even a tribe of "friendly" goblins would defend themselves... these were some seriously pacifist, turn the other cheek, goblins I guess). This should have led to a moment of, "What in the 9 hells are they doing..." opening up the opportunity for one of the literate but unable to speak a blasted word of common to scribble a note in the sand in, hopefuly a language one of the players knew, saying, "Please don't kill us, we be NICE!" But I digress... My arm chair interputation... both sides (DM and players) were at fault. There was a communication/attention to detail break down between the two sides of the GM Screen. GM's have to give information and Players have to ask for information. Otherwise you get what we had here... failure to communicate... which is how he wants it... and he gets it... (sorry, my Guns & Roses came out a bit there).

Which makes abosolutely no sense as it creates instances where a weapon can bypass the EPIC DR of a mythic creature... but not something with "lesser" DR. Even better, just look at the Golem conudrum. Per the mythic addendum to the DR rules a +6 equivilent weapon, lets say a +1 vorpal great axe, will slice through an Adamantine Golem (DR 15/Epic) like a hot knife through butter but will not mitigate in the slightest the damage to a... Wood Golem (DR 5/adamantine). Does that make sense? Thus, I ignore that little blurb in the Mythic book a it is a needless adjustment to the DR rules as presented in the CRB and serves no useful purpose as it creates in consitencies where DR EPIC can be bypassed but lesser DR cannot. As to the original question, yes an Amulet of Mighty Fists +4 Bane counts as a +6 equivilent weapon and will bypass DR/Epic as it was originaly written (i.e. DR/Epic can be bypssed by a weapon with a +6 or better enahncment bonus) AND as it stands in the Mythic Book (if you use that version).
There is also a document that Paizo put together for converting monsters from 3.5 to Pathfinder back when they first released... You can find it under Pathfinder Roleplaying Games Resources. Title of the document is "3.5 Conversion Guide".
My son and I have experimented with a wild west version of pathfinder with a lot of influence from the show Supernatural. I would recommend using the variant Wounds and Vigor system from the Ultimate Combat book. This allows a bit more thematic description as the vigor is representative of near misses and being beaten down where as wounds represent actualy being shot, stabbed, etc. We are also using the Class Defense variant rules from 3.5 to facilitate a little protection without having to walk around in full plate in the old west. As for price of fireamrs costs we went with Guns Everywhere. To figure the cost you just take 10% of the listed price from the book. Revolver = 400gp
We actualy translated the "Gold Piece" into dollars and cents and common currency are coins like $20 gold piece or $50 gold piece. From there I looked at the average cost of a revolver or a lever action rifle for the time and used that as a basis for the value of a gold piece vs. a dollar. Good luck with the game!

Not to be flip buuuuuut, I took over a game for a GM who bowed out back in April of 2020 (five years ago now) and sent the "Have you taken over an orphaned thread? Do this." email (3-4 times now over the space of months getting an automated reply each time) to what I guess now is a super-heavy dead compacted star, from which not even light can escape. Any chance we can get that fixed? Eventually, I would like the ability to shut the thread down. Oddly, I can't find the onsite instructions for the "Have you taken over an orphaned thread? Do this." I only ever stumble upon it by accident--maybe someone could look into that too. Here are the Gameplay and Discussion thread links. If you require anything else from me let me know by way of a 'manual message'. I don't entirely trust the automated one anymore. It lies. Thanks. So maybe you heard there's this Outhouse II, Signpost II, well, something like one of those. It's an online Play-by-post convention thingy starting in a couple of weeks (March 11th 2019). Well this a recruitment thread for one of those games. The scenario is Season 10-8 What Prestige is Worth. We are running it hard CORE! (With all the usual CORE mode requirements). Da pitch wrote:

There was something else, but I can't remember what it was just now. Any help would be appreciated. EDIT Oh! I can't edit campaign pages I created. This one seems bigger than just me.
He doesn't believe in 'game balance'. Gandalf always lets him pass. As a feat, he has Exotic Weapon Proficiency (beard). The city guard often question him, just because they find him so interesting. His dice bag is woven from tarrasque leather. His TPKs end game lines. His blood cures moderate wounds. He once punched a flumph. Yes, you heard me. He belongs to a prestige class whose sole requirement for entry is just being him. ♬ He is indeed, the most interesting GM in the world. ♬
Go ahead and ghost/ninja dot in (post something and then delete it) with your character.

... And then ghost dot in on the Gameplay thread with the character you are playing so that this game shows up on your campaign page. A few quick notes This is a Classic/Standard-mode game, not CORE. It is a Tier 1-5 game, so your character must between 1st and 5th level to play. I am not a pushy GM, but I would like to finish on time. I hate botting people. I'll do it at need, but I have enough NPCs to play as it is. In general, I don't put your character in front of the next door they have to kick down, and I certainly don't kick it down for them. That's called: writing a novel. We're here to game. Your character can do as they like (or not) within the game world. You guys are the heroes here, you move the story. I'm just the guide. Stay thirsty my friends.

After a very late night of carousing with a very interesting man at a local tavern the candidates for confirmation in the prestigious Pathfinder Society went their separate ways to prepare for their early-morning meeting which according to Janira one of the Lodge's newest field agents was in about four hours time. You knew you should have listened to her when as she was leaving she said you should get some sleep, but golly was that man interesting. You could have stayed there until dawn, and you almost did. If there is anything your character would like to do before 5am-ish local time (Absalom is a city that never sleeps), let me know. Some characters might have lodgings at in the dorms at the Pathfinder Society's Grand Lodge otherwise you can retire where you will if at all. Note there is a link to the handouts at the top of the thread (called 'Adventure Handouts and Maps'), and at the end of the The World's Most Interesting GM's tagline. Both links lead to the same place. Random determination engine: 3d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 2) = 8

A few quick notes This is a CORE-mode game, not Standard/Classic. It is a Tier 1-2 game, so your character must be 1st or 2nd level to play. If you are playing this with a 2nd level character realize you can only do that once (per mode) for credit. I am not a pushy GM, but I would like to finish by July 1. I hate botting people. The man who is staring at you critically.
After a long night in the company of a very interesting man and several pitchers of wine at the Flaxseed the characters find themselves 'escorted' by Lodge ruffians to the office of Ambrus Valsin, the venture-captain in charge of daily operations in and around the Grand Lodge. The imposing chamberlain greets them--curtly, and motions for them to sit in a cluster of rather severe straight-back chairs. He strides back and forth before them once before diving in. “All right, prospective pathfinders! Listen up!" The venture-captain takes a moment to make sure he has everyone's attention. "I know you recruits are eager to make names for yourselves in the organization, but hanging out all night in taverns isn't going to help either of us. It's sloppy and suggestive of a decadent borderline depraved mind! So before you sully the name of Pathfinder we need to make sure you are all up to snuff! I have a number of small assignments for you--things I could have any lodge page attend to were they not on retreat. It would be best for your prospective career futures if you could finish them before the day’s end...." “Every day we get some doe-eyed hopeful or some sniveling bootlicker willing to do anything to join up with the Pathfinders. Some of them are good kids, but not all of them have the salt to make it in the Society. It’s rough out there, and I’m not just talking about the ruins, tombs, and wilderness Pathfinders find themselves in on missions. We’ve got people who look down their noses at us, folks who think we squander our time, and agents who want to take everything we have collected for their own selfish needs." He looks pointedly at each member of the party. "This wealth of knowledge and these items of lore make us the most powerful organization on the planet. That said, since we are widespread, it’s difficult for that power to light on anything for too long. For every friend of the Society, there are two enemies." “Your first mission, to test your mettle and loyalties, sends you to meet a few people important to the Society living here in Absalom. These are other venture-captains or close allies of our organization, so--let me be clear--you follow their orders as you would mine. Understood?" He waits for a positive reply, given in a sufficiently enthusiastic manner. "I’ve prepared a list of things I want you to do." He snatches a large, official envelope off his desk. "They’re not arranged in any particular order of importance, but I want them all completed as quickly as possible. Only report to me once you complete them all. Not a moment before.... Included in the envelope is the list, complete with the name of your contact, and directions to the meeting location.” "TEN-SHUN! ...Questions?" So, I couldn't help but notice that Damiel the half-elf iconic alchemist from what we are now calling Pathfinder 1st edition got downsized into a goblin in 2.0 the way Devis the half-elf iconic bard from Dungeons & Dragons 3.0 was replaced with Gimble the gnome in 3.5. I don't have much to say about this except that I have difficulty seeing goblins (or kobolds, or mites, or those little wads of lard you sometimes find in jars of baked beans) reaching much further than 10th level in most game worlds I've ever heard of, and that hobgoblins seem like they could, realistically, go further. I do think I understand the monetization aspect of the idea, but that's really its own thread. Did anyone actually know the 1st edition alchemist's name before he got the axe? Or that there even was an iconic for the class? Did you know there was an alchemist class? Is it a half-elf thing, do you think? A letter 'D' thing? Why not replace Amiri, or Merisiel? Do you think the goblin depicted in the new art is actually still Damiel and that what we're seeing is the result of a batch of polyjuice potion that got contaminated by goblin DNA? Those little buggers are into everything. Or do you think that alchemists all shop at the same clothing store regardless of big and tall, or petite status? Discuss.
Um, there used to be a keyword search bar on the avatar choice menu page.... Considering the number of pages and the slightly haphazard organization structure (some guys are listed as gals, some wizards are sorcerers, some elves are humans, there are occasional spelling errors ["reptilians" and "repitilians" for instance], and whole swathes of characters that don't show up unless you know the right tricks), I found it very helpful. Does anyone know where it went? Is it coming back? How much would it hypothetically cost to fix this--hypothetically?

Feel free to start your character's preliminary "getting to know one another" RP posting in the gameplay thread. Or simply phantom post (post and then delete that post in the gameplay thread so that the scenario shows up on your account's campaign page). The official start date for this game, and the rest of Outpost, is March 5th, so if you have nothing to say until then that's fine too.

The party is standing on a dock in the Shackles' city of Drench Port staring northward into the century-old hurricane called the Eye of Abendengo, a storm that takes up most of the horizon. Drench Port (apparently named for the current and prevailing weather) is a free city in the Shackles and a hub for pirates and free-captains. The party was collected together here in a rush, but now they stand waiting for a vessel to collect them and take them to the Arcadian Mariner's Lodge of the Pathfinder Society. Once there they are to be briefed by the dangerous and disreputable ex-Shackles pirate, Venture-Captain Calisro Benarry, for a mission of special interest to the secret cabal that sits atop the Society's hierarchy--the mysterious Decemvirate. Time they have been told, is against them. The rain beats down in wind-blown sheets.

Another rainy day in Daggermark. You've been in the City of Assassins and Poisoners now for two dreary days sipping expensive imported coffees in small corner cafe, and specialty book seller called The Last Drop. It is almost dinner time and there's been no sign of your contact, a half-orc explorer and freelance adventurer named Ulisha. She was supposed to be here yesterday wearing white and yellow daisies in her hat's hatband so you could recognize her, Daggermark being more of a tulip town. Instead you waited 10 hours in the coffee shop having to order expensive drinks to retain your seats. According Janira Gavix your fellow Pathfinder and one-time instructor, and until yesterday, traveling companion, Ulisha is a bit of ne'er-do-well always in and out of trouble and here in the midst of the River Kingdoms, a collection of freebooting micro-realms and city-states one can get into all sorts of trouble. Apparently this time the trouble is too much for Ulisha to handle. She sent word to her contacts to get word to the Pathfinder Society with whom she has had an on again, off again relationship--to tell the Society that she is willing to part with an ancient druidic artifact--the legendary Silverhex. She is willing to sell it to the Society at a deep discount.... Unfortunately the only Society members to get the message and be close enough to reach her in time were yourselves and Janira who where supposed to be on a training mission of sorts to the River Kingdoms, but really it turned out to be an excuse for Janira to get to Daggermark for "important family business". By the time word reached your band there was no time to collect the money from a Lodge (in fact, Lodges are hard to come by in anywhere near the River Kingdoms. So instead the party headed to the clandestine meeting with only the money in their pockets hoping to buy time and get more information. And so you've been waiting for two days in the expensive coffee shop forced to buy expensive coffee to ward off the stares of the severe-looking gnome barista, all while watching what little money you have disappear on room, board and, of course, coffee. Janira has gone off to her family leaving the group to its own devices, which as newly inducted Pathfinders are few indeed. Sit down, have a cuppa, (re)introduce yourselves, and figure out what you want to do.

I have (hopefully) 8 players (with 7 coming from 2 previous runs of The Confirmation and one new player) so we are doing two tables of four. After we are all signed in we'll pick teams. Now I know some player's have swapped up their characters from our last game so if everyone could please provide the following info, we'll begin. Player Name

Official gameplay will open later tonight (the next 12-14 hours). Stay thirsty my friends.
The sound of honest laughter bubbles up like fresh water from a spring in one tastefully dim corner of the tavern. "And she said: Well he was presenting 'alternate facts.'" The the speaker’s dry, masculine delivery provoked another round of laugher from people seated around him. It was growing late though, and at last the greater bulk of people got up and said their goodbyes. Leaving the interesting man, and a young halfling woman sitting at the large table alone. The halfling had her elbows on the table, small fists buttressing her chin. Her legs, dangling kicked idly at the air beneath her chair. "What's wrong Janira?" Asked the man smiling. His eyes crinkled at the corners with genuine affection. He was paying for his departed friends’ drinks with coins seemingly pulled from thin air, and the serving girl's ears. The serving girl giggled. "I've got to head out in a couple of days for the Kortos Mounts. I'm supposed to be taking a bunch of Society initiates with me, to check up on that—" Janira stops and gives a quick look around. "...that activity I noted in my report a couple of months back. The Master of Scrolls, Dean Shaine, wants to use the trip as their Confirmation. I guess the Lodge is sort of desperate to push initiates into the ranks after all that trouble with their rose garden time-travel contraption, the flair up at the World Wound, and all the recent tangles with the Consortium. I'm not sure I want to be responsible for a bunch of novice treasure hunters who've never set foot out of the Lodge, but the dean mentioned he had a list of top notch agents just waiting to go." "And this troubles you?" The man says in a tone that suggests he is a bottomless well of compassion. "Well, you kind of have to know Master Shaine." Says the halfling. This is a role-playing recruitment for 5-08 The Confirmation (i.e. you have to role-play to get in). So, no list, no lottery, no first come first served--at least not like usual. If you want in, you gotta talk to the man at the head of the table, the halfling sitting across from him, and maybe even each gulp! other first. This is a role-playing game after all. Once we have enough seats plus however many filled, I’ll pick the final crew (probably in about 48 hours). Characters will be chosen on a completely arbitrary, and unfair basis (personality, character concept, group role, legibility of character sheet, shameless bribery, etc…). The Confirmation is a scenario for levels 1-2. It is "evergreen" for 1st level characters. A player can normally only ever have one 2nd level character receive credit for it per mode (Standard or CORE). We’re playing this one in the Standard mode for Pathfinder Society credit. If you are unfamiliar with Pathfinder Society Play or Play by Post Click on the World's Most Interesting GM for some helpful links, and advice as compiled (read: stolen) from around the messageboards by other GMs.
So I noticed some "new post" notifications on my campaign page and went to click on them, what I found was an empty page. It lists the posts' numbers that are supposed to be there, but there are no posts on the page--nor any other pages of post on the thread, nor on any other thread.... It is like the page markers for those posts still exist but there are no actual posts. Basically I cannot see any campaign posts at all, just the pages they are on. I was surprised to see that I could see posts in the Website Feedback area.

I guess the Lodge is sort of desperate to push initiates into the ranks after all that trouble with their Rose Garden time contraption, and the flair up at the World Wound, and all the recent tangles with the Consortium. I'm not sure I want to be responsible for a bunch of novice treasure hunters who've never set foot out of the Lodge." This is a role-playing recruitment for 5-08 The Confirmation (i.e. you have to role-play to get in). So, no list, no lottery, no first come first served--at least not like usual. If you want in, you gotta talk to the man at the head of the table (or the halfling sitting across from him, and maybe even each other) first. This is a role-playing game after all. Once we have enough seats plus however many filled, I’ll pick the final crew (probably in about 48 hours; we'll see how things progress). Characters will be chosen on a completely arbitrary, and unfair basis (personality, character concept, potential contribution to a group, legibility of character sheet, etc…). The Confirmation is a scenario for levels 1-2. It is "evergreen" for 1st level characters. A player can normally only ever have one 2nd level character receive credit for it per mode (Standard or CORE). We’re playing this one in the Standard mode. For Pathfinder Society credit. As demonstrated by the classic Dos Equis line of ads, there are no end of interesting things that an interesting man can accomplish. The World's Most Interesting GM is such a man, and it is up to us to us to spread his legend. Here are but a few of the things that have been said about the World's Most Interesting GM:
~Now go forth, and add your intriguing anecdotes to the man, the myth, the legend that is the World's Most Interesting GM. "Stay thirsty my friends."

Likewise please. I dropped a non-mint version of one book from order 4057746 to pick up the mint version, but realized too late that I never added it. If it's too much a problem don't worry about it. Thanks for your time.
So I was trying to take advantage of the current Paizo clearance sale but am having trouble getting the order to go through. Part of it is my fault, my MC pre-paid debit card hadn't been activated so I did that. The moment I checked the balance it listed the difference between the order and the original $100 balance, so it is trying to get through, but has not completed the transfer. Think it might have been a timing thing. I tried processing it again a few minutes later (and again after changing the name on the card to accurately reflect the order name (caps, middle name) and then again and again). And nothing. I realize it might be something you folks sort out automatically upon arriving to work and getting to it in the queue but I'll be at work most of the day and just wanted to get it noted in case it was not.
