This would be Lecky's entry, and if chosen (I wish) I can do the stat block easily,

Name: Lecloront
Alignment, Race, Class: Neutral, Human, Ranger
Role:
Combat - Archery based ranger, with a fierce animal companion offering flank, and other combat maneuvers. If ever you get near him, his also proficient in wielding a greatsword.
Out of Combat - Master of his surroundings, excellent survival and knowledge about his prey and environment. He can be a dedicated tracker and scout, planning to be a somewhat party face too.
Campaign Trait: Old Friend of Tiboros

Background:

Born sick and weak, the village doctor even thought that he won't survive a day or two but his parents refused to give up. They traveled far and wide, they won't hesitate even if it means dying together. They actually prefer it that way for they can't bear the fact that their son would actually die before them. Their search led them Nisroch. Little bit known for their necromancy and other tabooed skills.

Growing up as a kid didn't go easy for Lecloront. His small stature and pretty weak built more often lead to kids making fun of him, and his fondness for animals didn't help. All of those things didn't break his motivation in life, he trained hard, worked hard for all the things he wants. On his parent's graves he swore that whatever happens he will survive and he will live a life that they wanted him to live. Until one day when he was outside of town minding his own business, he saw a caravan got attacked by a small group of undead. Following his instincts he knows what to do in that kind of situation. Using the advantages his environment provided him he managed to lead the group away thus making the caravan make it's escape. Little did he know that he just saved a member of one of the wealthiest families in Nisroch, the Tiboros. They found out that he is an orphan so they supported him in the best they can. Especially after witnessing firsthand of Lecloront's skills, they wanted him to become one of their rangers.

As years pass by, he formed a friendship with the family that he serves. Everywhere they go, they always want Lecloront with them for they always feel safe every single time Lecloront leads their caravan. Today he was called by his longtime friend, he was tasked to leave the family and town he has sworn to protect. He is now to serve his friend's daughter Anya, even though it's hard for him to do. He remembered his parent's will and determination to leave everything and do everything they can just to make sure their son is alive. With the parent's love in his mind, he set out on a journey towards Karpad.

Appearance:

A man on his late 20's. Medium height, and a lean body. His medium length hair that he wears as it is, covers some scars he had on his adventures. He always his armor covered with another layer of cloth, to provide a little cover, that he would say everytime you ask him. Far from the weak and fragile looking child that his parents knew him for.

Dotting.

I have no idea on anything about this module. Any type of enemy that are clearly abundant in this module? Is it like a scenario or it will require us a time commitment?

Tossing mine if there's still space,

1d7 ⇒ 5
1d22 ⇒ 6
1d9 ⇒ 8

Ability Scores,

2d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 6) + 6 = 14
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 1) + 6 = 9
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 4) + 6 = 13
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 4) + 6 = 11
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 6) + 6 = 17
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 1) + 6 = 9

A halfling neutral evil monk, nice.

I'm interested. I'll go with a wizard.

When is the deadline?

For RoW we're all level 1 right? Boomkin is a little bit busy, so I'll just use my wizard. Another entry would be good, preferably someone that could heal.

I'm down for the Reign of Winter AP, my druid Boomkin is almost done but if you want to start asap I have a wizard ready to go.

LOL hey there Maps, Wreck and Aesh.

Awa - 8
Cha - 8
Int - 13

Technical:

Trade U (Cre)- d5
Technics (Int)- d5
Use Complex Device U (Int/Cre)- d5

I'll hold on and check the spells first, I'm contemplating on selecting spirit arts or movement.

Race: Torn between a halfling and elf

Main Career: She is very interested in the the 'schematics' of things so she's a computer repair or software programmer by day and a thief at night. She only steals schematics and techs. She won't be evil, see below.

Personality: She seeks the understanding of the world, the why's and the how's (universalism) and she seeks the balance of harmony and safety of the changes that the world undergoes (security). She is generous, always seeking what is good for all, not just for her since just knowing these things she is already at peace within herself.

Alignment: I would say neutral or maybe evil like Alexander's description, but it's mostly driven by her curiosity and concern for the weak.

Hey GM, is this recruitment still open?

You forgot dinosaurs, and that makes it a different ball game compared to the other shamans, cause you're not limited to a small selection of animals. I'm not saying it's the best but it has a wider variety and I think that's the only thing it has over the rest. Like Shfish above, he or she successfully managed to use the ape shaman which I for some reason can't think of a good backstory for it aha!

Rynjin wrote:
Also, I don't think it's a "better" Wild Shape at all. It trades a lot of the versatility (which is the main power of) Wild Shape for being slightly better at turning into a certain kind of creature.

Like I said, user preference.

That would be the user's preference, if they think that it's worth it. You get totem transformation too.

So it's up to you to decide if you want a better wild shape at 6 and 7 together with totem transformations over a wild shape at 4 and 5. At least with Saurian Shaman you're choice are not that limited since it says reptiles and dinosaurs.

That is true you get wildshape at lvl 6, so totem transformation until then. A regular druid gets wildshape at 4 but these archtypes delay that for a little bit.

As an additional note though, if (for example a Saurian Shaman) wild shapes into a reptile or a dinosaur, they get a +2 on their druid level. To some people (me included) that's good enough reason to delay wildshape.

I used my 2 PP to purchase a wand of cure light wounds. I should've purchased a MWK greatsword too but it's a little late.

Please correct me if I'm wrong,

Agi - 18
Str - 13
Con - 13
Cre - 13
Awa - 8
Cha - 8
Int - 8
Pow -
Aur -

That would be 150, How much will more points will I get if I lower that 18 to 16?

Checking in, and learning what I can too. Definitely looks interesting tho

For PFS you could also spend 2 PP for a wand of ill omen.

A 14 dex and a compsognathus or scorpion familiar will give you a +6 on Initiative so you can maybe skill improve initiative.

I also think that 3 hexes on lvl 1 is good, cackle, evil eye (or misfortune) and slumber. Save the slumber for boss fights otherwise your GM might get annoyed. Get a wand of ill omen, maybe after the wand of cure light wounds. I'll pretty much dedicate all my PP for wands of spells that I like. For weapons, a light crossbow is good but so far I haven't really used it yet.

A wand of ill-omen, command and other utility lvl 1 spells will really be good to have, and 2 spring loaded wrist sheaths.

Ear-piercing scream is also good for roleplay, imagine if they get to act on the surprise round, so in shock you scream like a baby and scare them away.

If you need one more, I don't mind trying this out.

You can count me in!

OK I'll try my luck with this one!

4d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 1, 1) = 4 = 3
4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 4, 1) = 14 = 13
4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 5, 1) = 17 = 16
4d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 6, 5) = 16 = 15
4d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 1, 1) = 9 = 8
4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 4, 4) = 13 = 12

Re-roll:
4d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 4, 4) = 10 = 9

19 point buy lol - not that bad

I'm intersted!

Quick question, do you start knowing the location of the other?

I don't know anything of that AP, but I would like to play as a magus or a rogue.

Count me in! I'll get my character up and running in no time!

Haven't done any google hanouts or d20 (I do have an account) but if you might need an extra player just leave me a messge, been wanting to try one of those.

Same here, I'll wait then make my character based on what the party needs, but if it doesn't matter then maybe druid or summoner.

As with what AP, I haven't run any of those so doesn't matter to me.

I'm a PST but 8am to 4pm EST works for me if you still have room.

For PbP I don't really see the summoner lagging the game behind, and if you do like what Nefreet does like keeping the blurbs easily read by GM's then I don't think it would hurt.

For tables, I've played with a couple of my friends who waits for their turn then think what they're going to do. It takes them more time than the other one who played a summoner but when it was his turn, he already planned everything beforehand so it goes smooth. Although his eidolon acts on his initiative.

From my experience, out of combat usually the party face shines, in combat, who has the best rolls shine lol

Or just roleplay that you and your eidolon are the same and can't share the same realm, like greed and the prince in Fullmetal Alchemist.

I really like the versatility of pet classes. I know you won't be one-shotting things like a barbarian or a cavalier but you have you as the face and your pet your body. You won't be bored in whatever area of the game you are.

Darkflame wrote:

1 more question

could you write down what you chose by lvl ?
wich feats/abileties at what lvl?

I don't think it matters that much the order in which he/she did it in PFS. If I were you, I'd pick the basic class which I will enjoy playing then just add the finishing touches as you level, until eventually you would reach that level.

kensai13 wrote:
Doesn't the inability to use handle animal while raging kind of nix this archetype's viability?

I'm really not sure if you tell your companion to attack it will keep on attacking until you command it to do another thing. If your companion knows the defend trick, it will defend you even if not told so you can have a personal bodyguard. So you can rage and your companion will do its best to defend you. Can someone with more knowledge rules comment more on this?

Why CHA of 14? I think 12 is good enough. If your companion knows the trick you only need a DC 10 Handle Animal, +4 if you put 1 rank in it, +4 for the link the animal companion has. So to fail that check if your GM doesn't handwave it requires a natural 1. I know it occurs but it would really be good for roleplaying purposes, for me.

My druid is still in a scenario right now but I would be willing to play as the pregen cleric Kyra, for my druid credits.

Are you against a pet class? I'm interested in joining as a human druid.

What time do you intend to do this? I'm on PST.

Wow, seeing the background that Unruly wrote for Trust is f+@+ing humbling. I'm going to take a few days to rewrite mine and really step it up.

LOL I know right! Time to use my brain and search for the little bit of creativity inside.

I haven't played any of this, but I'm interested in playing one.

Holy ....!

That prologue of yours, am I the only one expecting that I will be executed then all of a sudden a dragon will appear and kill everybody, Skyrim style!

What's the verdict on druid animal companions?

What's the party composition so far?

It looks like we get to choose Hawkmen, so far:

Amazing Red (Paladin/Healer Level 7) - Fellnight
Feral (Fighter Melee/Archer Level 7) - Fellnight
Tarandor (Cavalier Level 4) - Vet Vault/Dawn or Pregen (Level 7- Fellnight)
Lecky (Pregen Level 7) - Fellnight
Pirate Rob (Alchemist Level 7) - Fellnight
WerePox (Cleric Pregen Level 7) Fellnight
Hawken (Tenative Pregen Level 7) Fellnight

Yea, if there's no request for a pregen, I'll play the gunslinger 7 pregen, been wanting to play one of those or the ninja 7 if we need a skill monkey.

I would play a pregen for credit, I would want to let the party decide what we need, if party is balanced anyway then I'll play the gunslinger Lirianne.

Ahh I missed this!

Sorry for being a noob but why falcata over greatsword for paladin or any other class if it matters?

You have already 6 members, I have to bow out on this one. Just put me on your friends list and message me if you need a replacement, maybe my witch or paladin is free by then if not my 2 handed fighter or cavalier will ride with you. Have fun guys!

Hmm since we have a martial artist, wizard, ranger, rogue and barb, then Faelyn is going to make an oracle. Are you partially against if I make a summoner? Just the vanilla summoner not the master summoner, I will be up to date with the summon sheets.

EDIT: NVM, that would be a lot to manage so I'll just make a sorcerer with arcane bloodline

I am also interested in continuing for a long term campaign.

Dotting for interest, I'm thinking of joining as a Rogue or a Ninja or something roguish. I'll do the crunch later when I get home. I hope there's still more spots left.

Is this still open? I would like to join as a Scarred Witch Doctor.

Is this pathfinder legal? If not are you going to allow a human scarred witch doctor with insanity as his patron. I was thinking that he is from vas drakos, he claimed that he can speak with dragon spirits which the people consider as heresy so he was put in prison. During his imprisonment, the dragon spirit teaches him special knowledge (hexes), in payment of these knowledge, the dragon imprints scars and tattoos on his body. The guards upon seeing this thought he is insane. Then one night he was able to master some of the hexes and used it to escape the prison and the town. He moves from town to town hiding his presence by putting on a cloak. And he heard a rumor of a powerful being in the citadel but he doesnt know for sure where it is. Thinking it would be best to search for clues in a central hub where a lot of people go, he started to go to Four Winds in search for the citadel.

I'm submitting an aasimar cleric or paladin on a mission to cleanse the world from evil. I can do the crunch as soon as possible and the story to follow.

I am submitting a dwarven cleric, with animal and community as his domains. If selected I will give the full crunch as early as possible. I have never played rune lords before. I can pretty much post a lot a day, depending on how fast we're going.

"I heard among the villagers that there's a group of pathfinders willing to navigate the passages of the Accursed Halls " says Florence to the bartender. "I don't think you're capable enough to hande that mi'lady says the bartender while giving her a drink. "We'll see 'bout that" . Florence turned her back and walked away towards a group of seasoned adventurers. The bartender dropped the glass that he was holding for he was shocked to see a dim figure of an eidolon following her. Florence gave him a mischievous smile as she sits on the table beside the group.

That would be my entry, description on my profile, I probably should start posting as Florence right?

Hey Rob, I would like to apply for a spot.

I'm still fairly new to the game but I've read quite a lot, I'm planning of starting as a gunslinger or a summoner.

You guys care if another newbie which is me can play along?
