I want to see if there is interest in a high post volume play by post adventure path. By high post volume I mean 5+ posts a day. I am est time poster and like to do a lot of posting between 8am to 4 pm. I post less often but still often between 6 pm and 10 pm est. If I could find 4 others that post at similar times I think we could make some real progress in an adventure path.
In return I'd let you play any class, race, or alignment.
Concensus would decide what ap we do. I have runelords to shattered star and everything between.
Let me know!

here are the ones i'd like to play (i can provide the ap pdf to the dm):
Second Darkness
A strange shadow lurks in the sky above the city of Riddleport, and the doomsayers take it as a sign of the approaching end of the world! The true menace comes not from the skies above but the benighted passages of the subterranean Darklands, leading the heroes on a sweeping quest that begins in a star-struck city, weaves through ancient elven ruins, and unmasks the terrible secret of the dark elves!
Legacy of Fire
Long ago, two warring armies of genies fought on the slopes of Pale Mountain, and the world shook under the power of their wishcraft. Today, the armies are wakening, and one potent efreeti warlord is ready to pick up where he left off! This outrageous, inventive campaign takes the heroes to all corners of the desert land of Katapesh and beyond, with journeys to strange demi-planes and even the fabled City of Brass!
Council of Thieves
Once the seat of mighty Imperial Cheliax, the decaying metropolis of Westcrown now stands wrecked and ruined, haunted by mysterious shadow beasts and besieged by the agents of the nation's new diabolical rulers. Amid this chaos, a growing schism in the city's influential Council of Thieves threatens to tear Westcrown apart unless a new group of heroes rises from the ashes of empire to chart a new destiny for the lost souls of the city.
Carrion Crown
The Cult of the Whispering Way weaves a wide-ranging conspiracy throughout the horror-tinged lands of Ustalav aimed at freeing the Lich King Tar-Baphon, better known as the Whispering Tyrant, from his eternal prison in the dungeon of Gallowspire. Their debased rites and malicious schemes set werewolf against vampire, ghost against terror from beyond time and space in a thrilling campaign that touches upon themes of classic horror and dark swords and sorcery!
Shattered Star
The seven-pointed star known as the Sihedron is well known to scholars of ancient Thassilon, yet few know that the original Sihedron was itself a powerful artifact once owned by Emperor Xin himself. When the Emperor was betrayed by the Runelords, they shattered his Sihedron and hid the fragments in holdings throughout the land, where they would remain hidden for more than ten thousand years. But today, these fragments are surfacing, and it falls to Varisia's newest crop of heroes to gather the shards of the Shattered Star if they hope to be able to protect Varisia from a dangerous threat from the ancient past!
Reign of Winter
It has been a century since the immortal witch Baba Yaga last visited the world, and the hour draws nigh for her return. But when she fails to appear in the frozen realm of Irrisen to usher in its newest ruler, pockets of winter begin to grow throughout the Inner Sea region. After 1,400 years of perpetual winter, the icy curse of Irrisen is spreading! What links do these strange blizzards and swaths of wintry landscapes have with Irrisen, and is there any truth to the growing rumors that the Witch Queen Elvanna has taken full control of the realm? Can her plans for the Inner Sea be thwarted, or will the Reign of Winter engulf the world?

I have all of those except winter. I would be fine to look into doing that one though.

personally i would rather 2 two team of 4 than a table of 8 as its rather lengthy and messy having all those players :)
If you're going to do a high volume of posting. You should stick to a low number of players with proven posting track records.
I know you may feel uncomfortable excluding some people. I'll understand if you don't. But I've been in quite a few campaigns that died and died quickly because of too many players. More players slows posting way, way down, especially if they are not up to posting like you want.
If you want to play a very active game, you vet your players carefully to ensure they post a lot during the hours you plan to run it. Then you don't have two players and yourself posting a lot with two players that show up whenever they feel like it slowing everyone else down. You should make sure the people commit to the posting rate. If they know they can't post, they shouldn't join.
You also want to make sure the party composition is right.
Just giving my two cents. I don't care if I get in. I just know from experience a high post count campaign won't go very well with too many players. You're talking a campaign that will require quite a commitment. You should vet players and keep it focused.

Here are some rules I will use for my game that may turn people off.
1. No initiative. I will declare combat, pc's will go first unless I decide otherwise for story or surprise. Who ever posts first goes first. The monsters will go after the players or after the majority of players have gone and we have waited 4 to 8 hours for the rest of the party to post. At that time you will forfeit you combat turn. A new round will begin pc's go first poster first ect. . Players go first.

GM: Dave the Dwarf |

3. There are no full round combat actions, free actions, move actions ect. In combat you can make a skill check, move, and take all of your attacks.
4. I will not use maps. Combat will take place in your imagination. Dungeons will be maped as followed. Room 1 description has 2 ways out door 1 hall 1. Hall 1 description leads to room 3 description. Room 3 has 4 doors, door 5 door 6 door 7 door 8. And so on.

GM: Dave the Dwarf |

5. Sneak attacks. You can sneak attack a flanked opponent. An opponent is flanked if it is being attacked by 2 or more enemy's. Yes one of the 2 can be the person sneak attacking.
6. I will require a full list of your skills in your profile. Including bonuses and where you spent ranks. This way I can flavor text low DC skill rolls and not hold up the game.

How are you handling spells without full round actions? Is every spell a standard action?
The initiative and AoOs are fine. DMs usually roll initiative for the players on PbP to speed things up. If a player does anything to provoke an AoO, he rolls his own AoO roll and the DM calculates whether the monster hits. So that works fine too.
Sounds like you're wanting to run it kind of old school.
