Idemi ignores the stench, too focused on the mystery of what broke through the wall. He notes Berith's missed swing. He's still not sure whether there's a creature there or not.

Idemi spends the first 12 seconds noting down the collapse of the building and speculating about its possible connections to the defeat of the Keeper. He finally looks up and notices that everyone is preparing for something.
"Somethin' comin'? Berith, take care of it."
Idemi casts Enlarge Person on Berith.
Idemi and Berith escape out the southern door.
"Ain't dat just wondaful. Time ta get outa here, Berith!"
Idemi and Berith both do the same thing as last round, except back the other way, doubling moving at half-speed.
Idemi finally takes his eyes off his book, watching his steps as he moves forward as well.

"Ugh, disgustin'. Why didn't ya say somethin' about da smell, Berith."
"Took ya long enough, Berith. I almost be thinkin' ya don't wanta heal."
Idemi's readied heal goes off finally, which should put Berith back to full.
Idemi gives a sharp outtake of air and shakes his head. "Ya best get back here, Berith. Ya ain't lookin' so good."
Idemi draws a scroll of lesser rejuvenate eidolon and readies to cast it when Berith moves next to him.

"Looks like we got a lot dis time. Betta take 'em down quick, ya?" Idemi casts Haste, hitting Berith, Voros, Jaysin, and Avienda's hippogryph.
Idemi tilts his head back as he inspects the tangle of curious objects above, only turning it back down to check his furious drawing. "Go on ahead and check tings out, Berith."
Idemi stands near the edge of cliff. He takes a look at the slope and the mire below and shakes his head before returning to his notes. "I know da Pathfinda way is to take everytin', but da clock is running, bruddas and sistas."
does it look like there is an alternate path down, or is climbing the sluice the only way?
Idemi points at Jaysin with his inkpen. "Take it."
Idemi nods towards Boge. "Da stone man maybe wanta be takin' da ring. He seems to be in da front all da time, and he ain't got someone ta sit around and give him shields." Idemi glances at Berith.
Idemi pulls out a scroll of Shield and casts it on Berith.
"Don't hurt da instruments, Berith. Dey might be valuable knowledge dere."
Idemi nods. "Havin' Boge take da lead ain't caused any problem so far, mon."
He closes his tome, having just finished drawing a sketch of the church's exterior and pats Berith's flank.
"I'm sure Berith wouldn't mind going first eitha, though."
Idemi refreshes Mage Armor on Berith
Idemi would like the amulet for his eidolon, especially since he is a frontliner.
We have enough frontline people that we should be able to keep you from getting attacked, Jayson.
Idemi looks up from his book, apparently confused that the fight is still going on.
"Looks like we got a burly one." He pulls out a scroll of Shield from his haversack and casts it on Berith.
"Get in dere and clean dings up, Berith." Idemi nods to Jaysin. "And don't get in da way of da archer. Dey don't like it when you do dat."
Idemi moves up behind Berith and casts Guidance on him.

"Dey really dont do a good job a' keepin' dere inmates 'in,' do dey?"
Idemi moves up to the doorway and casts Acid Splash on the enemy to the southeast.
Acid Splash (inspire, into melee): 1d20 + 5 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (7) + 5 + 3 - 4 = 11
Damage (inspire): 1d3 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Idemi will cast Guidance on Berith before the door is opened.
Gonna hold off on anything else until we see the enemies.
Idemi happily begins scanning through the books in the library. He begins to frown and shake his head as he notes that he's read all of them before.
Idemi taps his pen on his tome. "Careful is best, dough we betta keep it fast, as it sounds like we got a bit of a tima goin', mon."
"We seem ta be in a bit a' one a' dose cluster...well, ya know da rest. Push yaself in dere, Berith."
Idemi casts Shield on Berith.
Idemi crouches down to investigate the attackers, checking to see if they have an identification and/or keys on them. "Any a' you got skills wit' mundane healin'?" He nods towards the straightjacketed patients. "Maybe ya can figure out how to make dose ones quiet down, ya?"
Idemi nods at Boge's martial prowess. "Ya seem to have dis well in-hand. Da guidance of Nethys might speed tings up a bit, dough."
Idemi casts Guidance on him.
"A' course not, brudda. You ain't da one howling like a madman, are ya?"
"QUIET DOWN, YA STUPID HUMANS." He takes a deep breath. He grins, his fangs showing. "Or else I might haveta make sure you never make a sound ever again."
Intimidate: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (4) + 14 = 18
The order is fine with me. Please let me know whenever enough time has passed that I need to refresh Berith's mage armor.
Idemi pulls out a wand. "Any a' you wanta bit a' da magic armor?"
"We best be gettin' to dose keepas quickly, like da little one said."
Idemi points to the two desiccated corpses, juiced liked oranges. "Don't want whateva ate dese two ta get bigga. Ya know we'd be da ones haveta fight it." He frowns.
"If we wanta be absolutely sure which ones we got here, I tink da best way ta confirm which a dese five we got here is ta talk to da mayor, see which a dese keepas ain't shown dere face around town in awhile."
Idemi taps his pen against his mask. "Dese fellows sound like dey probably have some good artifacts for de Archive, so we may wanta talk to de mayor about securing dose for later."
He grins. "Once we done wit' whatever's killin' dese men, of course."

His excitement growing, Idemi keeps investigating the tome, looking for a way to open it.
He tries to act as though he knows what he's doing.
Bluff: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
His increasingly frantic, abrupt movements, and exasperated breathing clearly indicate that he does not, though.
As he notices the tome, Idemi moves quickly for the first time you've seen, rushing up to the book, ignoring everything else.
Int Check: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Knowledge (arcana): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
I suppose Idemi was right that the creature would be dead in a few more seconds lol
I have time to post just about every day, but I'm totally fine with the GM rolling skill checks or saves for me to keep things moving.
Idemi grins wide at the creature, showing his orcish teeth. "Things aren't lookin' so good for ya, mon. At dis rate, I'm gonna be sketchin' yar internal organs in a few more seconds."

Idemi manages a slight smile. "Dis 'bad magic room' sounds quite interestin'. I bet de archive would like ta know 'bout dat."
He moves up with Berith, closely following Boge.
Idemi's eyes glance up from his book, tapping an inkpen against it. "What da creature saying, Mon? I need it word-fa-word. Exact wordin's da best in dese situations."
Idemi was preparing to cast a spell, but with no more enemies visible, he stops and goes back to reading.
Put Idemi and Berith in delay until something appears.
Perception: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (20) + 0 = 20
Idemi waves towards Berith. "Help da others out, Berith."
Idemi enters the room with the stench.
"Berith, stop holdin' your stomach and get back ta searchin'." Idemi nods towards the parlor. His stomach turns. "Ugh...guess I shoulda expected dat." He pushes himself through it and begins sketching and taking notes of this room.
Idemi begins sketching the scene and adding notations to his tome. "Berith, give dis place da once-over."
Idemi pulls out his tome and begins taking notes. "Did anythin' out-a-da-ordinary happen around da time da attacks started? Any strange visitors or weird happenin's?"
Idemi waves away the paper. "Danks but no danks. I put my faith in Nethys. He's a low maintenance god, just askin' me ta do what I already do, believe in da magic and share it."
PS: I forgot to make it clear in my last post that Idemi was doing his Nethys obedience
Since we seem to be doing introductions
He stands almost seven feet tall. The mask over his head is made of finely carved wood in the form of a charau-ka monkey demon, the kind of which you might have seen on exhibit at the Blakros Museum. As he lifts the mask to speak, those in attendance might notice that aside from his fine chain shirt and some basic slacks and boots, his ashy grey skin is bare. His whole body is covered in rows of black rectangular tattoos, each outlined in a red dye that seems to glow with a languid pulse. Golden yellow and black fills his eyes. Two shortspears are strapped across his back, four cases filled to the brim with scroll paper, some ink vials and a pen, and an ironbound tome hang from his belt.
He grins, revealing yellowed orcish canines. "Nice to meetcha, bruddas. Da name's Idemi. Idemi N'josk. Dis here be Berith. Don't pay too much attention to what he says."
Idemi starts scrawling out a spell onto a piece of parchment. He finishes writing and holds up the piece of parchment, letting it fly away in the wind. He pulls out his wand and taps Berith, and a momentary spacial distortion makes it obvious that he cast Mage Armor.
