The shriek heard earlier makes his presence known. A curtain is drawn back from room beyond the pits. Standing there is a old man, draped in cloth with crazy hair to go along with his overall appearance. He looks towards Berith, he stretches his hand out, speaks some arcane words and from his palm flies an arrow, dripping green with arcane energy.

The men on the far side try their best to get closer to the intruders. The first man moans as he lumbers forth. The slipperiness of the walkway proves too much and he falls into the sludge below. The second man is more agile and makes it closer to Berith, the next intersection. The final two also fall into the pit.

Four more men groan, and attempt to climb from the pits, and face those that intrude their work area. The first two fail, but the final two climb up and search out the source of annoyance.

Berith, moves across the slippery walkways. He keeps his footing, and reaches his destination. He takes a breath before slashling wth his guirsame, and he gets a horrid smell and gets sick to his stomach. The swing he takes is more than enough to connect with the man and he still manages to cut the man's torso in half. He falls to the ground.

Jaysin, with cloth stuffed in his nose, manages to not got a queasy stomach. His shot is on point, and it thuds in the mans' shoulder. The force behind it is enough to drop that immediate threat.

Voros lets two shots go from his bow string. The all familiar "twang" is music to his ears. The first arrow lodges squarely in the man's chest. A sickening thud can be heard, it seems as though it doesn't penetrate like he is used to seeing. The second arrow thuds in the man's head, he falls to the vat floor in a heap.

Keeper Myre, looks on at the approaching foes. He screams out in a gravely voice, You have no right to be here!. He looks at Voros and yells at him, Stop you intruder!

The arrow stuck in Berith's side continues to burn into its body. 2d4 ⇒ (3, 3) = 6

Aviendha orders the flying friend to go seek out the hostile host, it takes flight. The hippogriff happy to be able to spread its wings, squeezed through the stairs opening and rushes towards the Keeper. It takes a bite and chomps on the man's arm.

spellcraft dc 19 to identify. Will save for Voros. Aviendha, the hippo is right next to me now correct? My minions will go after I get some sleep :)

Idemi draws a scroll of lesser rejuvenate eidolon and readies to cast it when Berith moves next to him.

Voros and Jaysin target humanoids beyond the pit. They each take down their respective targets with a thorough pelting of arrows.

Keeper Hyve, curses as he gets hit, and curses again as he looks around and has nowhere to safely go since there is an annoying hippogriff in the way. He cautiously begins to cast a spell and gets it off.

Seeing that the Keeper is trying to casts spells at Havok, Aviendha calls over for Havok to grapple the man.

Havok understands what Aviendha wants him to do and tries to bite the Keeper and firmly hold him down.

The hippogriff, snorts as directed by Aviendha, it lunges towards the demented Keeper, but exposes its underbelly to him. He takes a slash with his dagger, managing to find a soft-spot in the armor and causing a small cut on its belly. The hippogriff pushes past this slight annoyance, and "tackles" the man and somehow manages to restrain him with its hooves.

The humanoids do their thing, one climbs from the pit, the other steps up to the hippogriff and slams its body into it. Despite grappling the Keeper, the hippogriff's tough hide provides enough of a barrier that the slams doesn't get through.

Boge, enters the room, ready to exact so punishment on those that wish to harm his friends.

Wizzy moves forward, and as he does so manages to not get horribly suck as he takes a whiff of the sludge. Berith, keeps himself together and gets up and out of the pit and heafs back towards his master who has prepared a healing spell for it, his wounds close.

Jaysin, fires off three shots. The first two lodge in the man in the left, dropping him. The final one beds itself in the man's thigh but he stays up.

The Keeper, curses as the hippogriff tussles with him, and manages to get a good hold of him.

He weaves his hands, trying his best to concentrate on the spell so as not to lose it. The hippogriff has just enough of the man's arms, the spell is disrupted and lost.
