AC 23/21/16 HP 45/45 F+2 R+10 W+5 Init+12 Per+12 You could do apocalyptic pretty well in the Wasted West, Haunted Lands of the Giants or Cardessa in Midgard. Scarred Lands would be new to me, but I'm willing to learn it. Looks like at least some of the books are on DriveThru. Be curious where you might want to set things in Golarion. I know that setting really well. Not quite as much apocalyptic though. Nex/Geb? Ustalav? Azlant? Worldwound? Wait maybe it does have apocalyptic.

AC 23/21/16 HP 45/45 F+2 R+10 W+5 Init+12 Per+12 Not really answering the question now, are we. thinks Crunk as the innkeeper divides everyone up. I just hope the dwarf is right. At least the innkeeper hasn't told us that one of us needs to be the sacrifice...yet. Maybe that's why we have this legate along for the ride. Crunk lines up with the larger group. "All right, let's go take care of this mess."

AC 23/21/16 HP 45/45 F+2 R+10 W+5 Init+12 Per+12 Crunk ignores the legate and sticks close to the innkeeper. Since the man doesn't seem to need help at the moment, he picks out a nearby tentacle and stabs at it with his knives.

AC 23/21/16 HP 45/45 F+2 R+10 W+5 Init+12 Per+12 Happy New Year! Looking forward to getting back together this month when you're ready. I took some time to work on Crunk's story over the break. If you have any feedback let me know. In out of game news, I have a quick item to announce. I have the very good fortune to have been named as one of the finalists in Kobold Press's Valhalla Calling adventure contest. If you get a chance and haven't already checked them out, please do. Several great pitches.

AC 23/21/16 HP 45/45 F+2 R+10 W+5 Init+12 Per+12 Hate it, hate it, hate it when I have to trust someone else instead of doing something myself. Crunk surveys the room to assess whether he has a better chance of running to the innkeeper or tossing the knife to him. Now, do I really trust him?

AC 23/21/16 HP 45/45 F+2 R+10 W+5 Init+12 Per+12 Round 5 Not waiting for an answer, Crunk scrambles into the ruins behind the counter and grabs the blade. "Now what do I do with this thing!" he yells, his attention fixed on the innkeeper.

AC 23/21/16 HP 45/45 F+2 R+10 W+5 Init+12 Per+12 Crunk breathes an apology to Sorok and races over to where the Innkeeper is desperately looking for something. "How do we stop it? Can I help you find something?"

AC 23/21/16 HP 45/45 F+2 R+10 W+5 Init+12 Per+12 Assuming free action to speak is ok...
If I can help the innkeeper, I will. Otherwise, I'm going to help free Sorok in hopes he can then help free others before they go unconscious. If someone thinks I should get Solvi first, let me know, but I'm not sure I can get her free by myself considering I probably wouldn't have a full attack or sneak attack on the one that has her, while I should at least be able to get a full attack on the one that has Sorok.

AC 23/21/16 HP 45/45 F+2 R+10 W+5 Init+12 Per+12 Crunk ducks and dodges rubble, rocks, and grasping tentacles as everything goes to hell around him. What the f%**?!? Giving up any pretense of staying hidden he shouts out, "Innkeeper! What has happened and how much worse is it going to get?"
Plunging a blade into he tentacle grasping Sorok, he looks to see what the Innkeeper and boy are doing while harboring thoughts of getting out of this disaster.

AC 23/21/16 HP 45/45 F+2 R+10 W+5 Init+12 Per+12 I think there might be a bug in the Gameplay thread. I thought I had posted (and rolled a 17) right after Sorok, but went back and no post. Tried to post again just now. Still rolling a 17, but it won't snap out of preview mode. I'm not having the same problem in other PbPs. Has anyone been running into the same thing? Edit: Aha, there it goes.

AC 23/21/16 HP 45/45 F+2 R+10 W+5 Init+12 Per+12 Think I've finished cleaning my sheet up Nightflier, but let me know if there is something you spotted I was missing. I saw that I still had Color Thief under traits, although I had removed all of the related benefits. I also got rid of the old calculations, sheet and material so there wouldn't be any confusion. I do have to keep building out backstory. Where I'd like to go with it is having him from Gloomnight, but someone that has crossed between that city and those in the Summerlands. If that would be too unusual, I'll stick with a pure Gloomnight write-up.

AC 23/21/16 HP 45/45 F+2 R+10 W+5 Init+12 Per+12 Round 3 After slipping on the blood and failing to reach the orcs, Crunk sees the legate drop two more foes almost right on top of him. Not making this any easier, eh? Seeing it will be tough to get to the orcs, let alone the legate, Crunk settles for seeing if he can work with the dwarf to take out one of the new foes and works around opposite the dwarf to strike with his blade.

If its not possible to get next to the legate, he'll try to get into flanking position with an ally against an orc and attack this round.

One motion fluidly shifting into another, the goblin emerges on the far side of the table, trying to slip into position to help fend off the assault.
