Illiameyl Arabep |

Change of action for round 5. Move action first, then standard action. So Sorok and Solvi discussion takes place before your attack action.
Illiameyl notches another arrow and taking aim at the legate. Suddenly she has the unusual colour skinned form appearing in her view and pointing at the tentacle while speaking to her. Not understanding the words, yet the gesture is clear enough for to understand that intended target must be the tentacles. She focuses on shooting through the middle of the tentacles, hoping to strike a tentacle on the arrow's flight.

Gilian |

Still under cover of invisibility, Gilian breathes as her side seems to calm down and focus on the immediate threat. She directs Pebble to go and help Chops should he need to be carried while she moves by Felina and heals the injured cat.
Uses one of her Cure Light Wounds from her healer path to cure the Cat of 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14. Felina is back to 15/15 HP

As the walls continue to shake and stones to fall from the ceiling, several things happen almost at the same time.
Even more tentacles rush through the floor, licking blood from the stones almost like giant obscene tongues. Orcs and chained fiends burst from the pressure and their innards add to the blood and filth on what remains of the inn's floor. A piece of the mantel flies through the air and hits the boy who cleaned the inn in the head. The boy simply falls on the floor, not moving. The innkeeper sees the goblin holding the jagged piece of black metal, and shouts "Yes! That's it! Give it to me!", and almost at the same time Erunthalion stirs and cries "Wait! Solvistania, your brother is upstairs!"

Crunk |

Hate it, hate it, hate it when I have to trust someone else instead of doing something myself. Crunk surveys the room to assess whether he has a better chance of running to the innkeeper or tossing the knife to him. Now, do I really trust him?
These checks assume, I'm trying them as free actions. If I can only do them as move actions or more, ignore them. Pretty sure a reactive gut check for Perception and a hunch for Sense Motive are legitimate free actions.
Perception 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24
Sense Motive on the Innkeeper 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29

Solvistania Elghreah |

"My...brother?"
Solvistania pauses for a moment, recollecting her memories of a brother. While she had not known any siblings during her 'childhood', she knew other Elorgs had been rescued at the time she had been.
She looks to the stairway and mentally calls for Felina to join her. "I must find this brother of mine!" as she heads up the stairs, Felina following behind her.

Innkeeper grabs the strange piece of metal from the air and turns towards the rows of bottles and jugs behind him, stabbing the jagged metal into the air. Weirdly, the metal blade - now it's obvious that it is a very crude blade, perhaps a piece of larger broken weapon - remains in the air, as if in some kind of invisible wound, slightly above innkeeper's head. He then grabs it by the hilt with both hands and starts to turn it. It looks like his whole body is becoming one giant corded muscle from the strain of turning that blade that seemingly floats in the air. As he does so, shafts of light are starting to appear from the widening hole left by the turns of the jagged blade.
"Go find your brother, woman. He must be in the rooms above, although he must have entered by the roof when your eldest brother there brought ruin to my inn. Again!"

Duncan Bloodforged |

Duncan starts walking with Solvi, prepared to shield her from any attack that might come her way, but inside he is grumbling because of this "truce" with the Legate. He keeps watching the legate as much as he can while moving, not really trusting him one bit and considering the possibility of his Astirax making a surprise attack against one of the casters.

Vikturiun |

A tallish elf appears at the top of the stairs, skin white like snow and eyes solid blood red, seeming to look no where and everywhere all at once. He takes the stairs at a leap, landing lightly at the bottom. In one hand he carries a long, slim blade of obvious fine elven workmanship while in the other he carries a leather pack, presumably fetched from upstairs.
"Move your a$$, Erunthalion, I've got what we came for!"
His eyes move across the floor, taking in exactly what has been going on down here. Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12.
"Damn. This is a total cluster%*&$. Brother, where are you!"

Vikturiun |

Vikturian looks over at Solvistania, surprise flickering across his otherwise stern features.
"Well, this is a surprise... which one are you? One of the younger one's I'd think; Elestria, or maybe Karinianna or Solvistania. Could you tell me exactly what is going on down here? And where is Erunthalion?
I'm presuming he is not easy to spot lying prone with all the chaos in the room.

Solvistania Elghreah |

"This is Solvistania... Vikturium my brother. As for Erunthalion, he is safe for the moment. One of the Shadow's Legates tracked us down here and in the resulting battle, a foul creature was awakened." Her eyes burn with emotion as she continues "We have ceased hostilities with the Legate until that abomination has been dealt with."

Vikturiun |

GM, you said the Innkeep stated that this was the second time Erunthalion had caused trouble. Have I seen this creature before, or am I aware of what the curse on this place is reputed to involve?
"We have, have we?" Vikturiun looks the legate up and down, giving him a slightly menacing look, while idling hefting his slim sword.

Crunk |

Crunk ignores the legate and sticks close to the innkeeper. Since the man doesn't seem to need help at the moment, he picks out a nearby tentacle and stabs at it with his knives.

"Awww, the lickspittle can't find his sword. It's so sad..."
Vikturian adjusts his grip on his own.
"I don't think anyone said anything about arming you; the only agreement thus far has been not to kill you."
"If you wish to survive this, you mongrel, you will give me my sword back. Otherwise, we are all food for this mindless beast."

Solvistania Elghreah |

"If you wish to survive this, you mongrel, you will give me my sword back. Otherwise, we are all food for this mindless beast."
Solvistanis glares at the Legate. "You do not need your sword to prove your worth here, Legate! Prove yourself by removing the enchantment from the Dworg then we will consider your request!"

Duncan Bloodforged |

For a second, Duncan barely manages to suppress urge to answer to the legate: "You can have mine," and then try to ram the blade into his face. Duncan is very uneasy because of this temporary truce and is not sure if legate will actually be able to help in any way. It was never one of his best talents, but he tries to read through intentions of the shadow's servant.

"Yes, you can. Grab everyone who can move and follow me! I've opened a passage through the shadows to the catacombs under the inn. We will need to reach the Well before the Dwellers fully awake, or we are all dead!"

Guys, you have all gained one Story Point. While you are in Shadowlands, you will not gain experience points. Instead, you will accumulate Story Points. You can spend your Story Points in several ways: You can exchange them for Fate Points; 1 Story Point - 7 Fate Points. You can buy 1 Feat for 3 Story Points. You can raise an ability score for five Story Points. You can gain a covenant item for 9 Story Points. While in Shadowlands, you will have the opportunity to gain 10 Story Points through what would ordinary be level advancement, and perhaps no more than 3 additional Story Points as quest rewards.

Gilian |

Just as Gilian is about to open her mouth to call Sorok back, she sees the dwarf send the sword back to its owner and Chops wakes up near Pebble and her.
I'm sure his astyrax is bound into that weapon ad he looks really powerfull. But we've got bigger issues to deal with now. Let's move.
"Welcome back.", she says, dropping her invisibility and extending a hand to help him raise and further heal him.
Use Cure minor wounds for 6 HP on Chops.

Illiameyl Arabep |

A shocked expression appears on her face as she sees the dwarf throw the weapon back to the person who was responsible for killing her comrades. Then sees some of the strangers moving towards the inn keeper, and one waking up.
Not sure what is happening Illiameyl moves side ways also towards the in keeper, while still facing the tentacles and the leader with her bow ready to fire at any threat to her.

Duncan Bloodforged |

Duncan watches almost in disbelief as Sorok returns the sword to the legate, thinking It may appear that these people we met here are our friends, but a lot could've happened during these years. They might not be the same people we used to know
He can not contain his contempt as he says to the servant of shadow:"After you, dark one, you will not left behind our back to stab us or leave us behind. If we fall, you fall with us!"

Solvistania resists the urge to flay Sorok alive from his actions, yet her eyes soften when she sees Durathoin awaken. She steps closer to Vikturian and looks at the Innkeeper. "A Well? What of this Well can you explain to me? Does it hold a Nexus?"
"I will explain everything... Just pass through... I can not hold it open much longer..."

"Don't posture, boy. I have known the face of my god. Your glowering is nothing compared to that." Saying that, he moved to the portal and - preceded by his bodyguard - he stepped through.
