Diplomacy to aid: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
From her perch and seeing the charm scroll fail to make the green dragon less hostile toward them, attempted honesty via diplomacy with the creature. Speaking clearly in the draconic tongue,
"I'm sorry I tried to charm you just now. My friend speaks the truth. We don't wish you harm, young one. The forest is a better place for you than this dank, underground chamber. Even my friend likes the forest better and knows I would not hurt her." In Sylvan she whispered to Morra, "Show yourself, Morra dearest. Let the dragon see you and know we do not harm those in our care." Morra slipped from under the jaunty hat and then climbed the felt cloth to the tip where the feather plume sat proudly. She looked at the young green dragon and finding her courage, waved at the creature, her pretty leaves and ripe berries on display to show it how hale and well cared for she was. And, friendly. Yes, friendly.
I didn't use spoilers for the two languages in this post simply for expediency sake. ;)

Alrighty! Just a courtesy heads-up, it'll be a very busy next couple of days (today and tomorrow). I'm hosting Christmas Eve for the family as my son and his gf will be spending Christmas day at her family's place. So, I'm doing a lot of prep work/baking today to help me with all the other stuff I have to cook on Christmas Eve.
I'll try and post when I can today. However, tomorrow I won't be on the boards at all. Christmas Day will be a quiet one with just hubby, kitty and I and left overs - by the pool enjoying the sun. I may have some time for posting then. Ha.

Sansaárë wrote: Good job everyone. I really can't see that well. Will someone help me also? Thanks.
She did not mean to forget to heal Sansaárë - her only excuse was she was working so hard at bringing back Julril that it slipped her mind. She silently chided herself for neglecting the half-elf.
Before collecting her weapon and shield, Iona drew another plump and juicy berry from her pouch and holding it in her hand performed the same commune with the nature spirits, imbuing the fruit with healing energy to help her companion.
"Here, Sansaárë, please eat this and you should start feeling better."
Goodberry for Sansaárë: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 (This bring's Airi's HP to 21.)
"You're still injured. I may need to treat you with my herbal remedies, especially those eyes."
From her pack, she took out her healer's tools once again and removed a handful of herbs from the pouch around her waist.
Nature to treat Sansaárë's remaining wounds (DC 15): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (10) + 11 = 21 (Takes 10 mins. During this time, Iona will also refocus to gain back the Focus Pt she just used for goodberry.)
"Now, I promise to be gentle, so if you'll allow me," before setting to the task.
Restores HP: 2d8 ⇒ (7, 2) = 9 (Sansaárë is back to full HP.)
"There, now. I think you've come through just fine. You and Tannakin also fought bravery. And, Leo was very clever in his manner of fighting."
Iona looked at her remaining companions to see if they too required healing, but they looked unhurt. Repacking her belongings once more, Iona finally collected her wooden shield and staff.

I will post a link to the sheet (with html coding included) once I'm done. That is very nice of you. Thanks! You're welcome. I hope this helps. :) (p.s. If you don't have any spells, you can just delete that section of the template. I just left it in in case you do.)

Round 2
"Where'd the kobold go? Did anyone see? Do you think its gone up those stone stairs or down the hole?" Iona called out to her companions; perturbed that an enemy slunk away right under their noses.
From her present position, Iona raised her shield (◆, AC now 18) (just in case the stealthy creature was nearer than she imagined) and began looking down the dark? hole/crevasse before her (n ot sure how deep it is), hoping to seek it out. (◆, for Seek it says GM will roll a secret Perception check vs the Stealth check of hidden creature) "Can someone provide light into this hole?"
Does anyone have a torch or some light up at present? Iona being a human can't see in the dark. If anyone does have a torch, can they bring it closer to the hole/crevasse, please?
If by some miracle Iona managed to see/find the hidden kobold, she would point it out to her companions; telling them where it is located. (Point out ◆)

Alright. If the quantities are not quite right, someone can suggest more or less. These are additional supplies to what we already have in our own gear/packs. We can also refill our own water canteens before we leave as extra water isn't a bad thing.
-2 healthy/hardy pack horses, with saddlebags, +1 small wagon
-Journey Bread/Waybread/Cram x 40 (hardtack made of nut flour/meal, milk, honey, seed/nuts - wrapped in mallorn leaves to keep them fresher/ won't spoil on long journeys - will last indefinitely as they're somewhat hard to chew/eat but filling/sustaining.)
- 1 bucket of fresh apples
- 1 basket of fresh field mushrooms
- 4 earthen jugs of apple cider
- 20 costrels/flasks/canteens of fresh water
- 2 large hemp bags of potatoes
- 2 large hemp bags of onions
- 1 kg/2 pounds smoked fish
- 1 large clay jar of pickled eggs
- 1 large clay jar of pickled cabbage
- 4 Hemp ropes
- 4 sets of pitons for climbing
- 20 Torches
- 20 jars/clay pots of oil
- 4 warm cloaks for travelling plus 4 furs for sleeping on
- 2 hunting bows plus arrows (we'll want to try catching fresh meat)
- 2 axes for chopping wood for camp fires
- Flint & Steel for lighting camp fires
- 1 knife for cutting/peeling vegetables
- 2 iron skillets and 1 large cooking pot for cooking food in
Anything else, guys?

Since Airi and Leo moved down/in, yes Ness followed suit and strode in 20 ft in Round 1. I did say she’d move in once the human congestion wasn’t so bad. There’s only so much slipping past Ness could do from the back. ;)

Basic Reflex Save DC 15: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16 (5 dmg. Is this then mitigated by her upraised shield as per the description of Shield Block? Or is the bludgeoning water not considered a 'physical attack' and the shield is only good against weapon dmg? Just trying to figure out these rules via the wording. Thanks! I'll play out any dmg she may need to heal if she is hurt (1/2 dmg) in my next post. I guess Ness and Julril will have to work out the healing of allies in game as both are healers.)
====
Even with her short and sturdy stature, Ness managed to turn just the right way at the right moment, with her shield raised, to waylay the true force of the water sprayed at her. It was a small miracle in itself that didn't turn turn her thick ankle at the Tann-esque-styled feat of grace. Ness laughed out at triumph! "Well, I'll be. It seems I can be light o' foot when truly put upon." The leaf leshy inside her pocket shook with laughter at her mistress' jest. Verdi climbed up over the rim of the pocket and looked out, pleased to feel the air on her small, pretty face, eager to see the new man.
With the mermaid fountain finally stopped from its rather forceful spitting, Ness stowed her staff across her back and moved down toward the others.
Leo wrote: "Pray tell, Nyswyn does't thou know the young man?"
Not having had the time to answer Leo's question for she'd entered the chamber and left him in the other, Ness turned now to the man and corgi and answered, "Aye, he's a childhood friend. A returned warrior priest of the Light of the Sword, Iomedae."
Catching her breath, the druidess glanced back and down in the water of the fountain.
Perception (T) DC 10: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Something shiny caught her eye. "There's coins in the fountain. Wonder who made some wishes - perhaps to beg to stay alive against the thing. (28 cp, 8 sp and 2 gp) Tann, dear, your legs are longer than mine, can you step in and retrieve them. The water's not deep for you, although it looks cold."

Lol no clue! Do you mean remove an alias from active characters list? If so, you go to your Campaign tab, DG, and click the edit button. Scroll down and you should see your active players list and unclick the check mark next to the alias/aliases you wish to deactivate and then click ‘save’ and that should work. You can also remove a character alias from the active characters list following the same instruction.

◆ Recall Knowledge Craft DC 20: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Peering past Tannakin's waist, she saw the fountain spin around and water-jet leap from its mermaid mouth.
"Careful, all! The fountain spins and shoots water, although I've no idea how it works."
Ness raised her shield (◆) in her off hand in order to better protect herself. (She has Shield Block.)
Then she began to cast (◆), her voice clear, calling upon the nature spirits in the Sylvan tongue, to guide the mind/hand of her nearest companion half-elf. "Le do ghliocas agus do ghràs, stiùir i, Wights of the Land, gus an urrainn dhi cruinneachadh an aghaidh a ’chunnart ùr seo."

Is Tann at -5 HP at present?
===
Round 3
Seeing her wild elf companion fall, Ness immediately tapped into the natural magic surrounding her, feeling her connection through Verdi as the leshy shivered with life restoring energy inside her cloak pocket. Speaking and gesturing, the druidess directed the healing spell toward the unconscious Tann.
(◆◆)(T) Spell Touch Attack (30ft) with Heal on Tann: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20 <=== not sure if this roll is necessary, but just in case it is required.
Healing a living creature-Tann: 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13 hp returned
(I think that brings Tann back up to 8 HP, if she started at -5.)
Ness then moved/strode 5ft (◆) to the very edge of the cliff to get closer to her friends taking the hits from the Xulgraths; just in case she needed to jump down and help out as best as she could.
===
I know Airi's been hit as well (taken 9 dmg), but if Ness channelled positive energy via the heal spell at this point, then she'd only restore 1d8 HP and to all living creatures in a 30 ft burst, which I assume would also include the wounded Xulgraths and that would undo all the risky work done by both fighters so far. Shrugs.
(If needs be, Tann could use one of her hero points to avoid death. This can be done when your dying condition would increase.)

Seeing Leo gave no reason not to touch the orbs other than they were magical, Ness shrugged and sloshed through the water at her feet and moved toward the "earth" orb - feeling a greater affiliation to it than air.
Let's hope this doesn't kill me, she mused inwardly, feeling Verdi rustle inside her coat pocket.
Ness reached out and carefully touched the earth orb on its pedestal before her. Suddenly the sound of grinding and grumbling, like boulders rolling down a hill filled her ears. "Boulders' rolling!" she called out a warning. Ness' eyes darted around the chamber to see if it was indeed falling down around them. It wasn't. Then she heard the ancient voice and she repeated the words aloud, "The orb said, 'Call upon the earth to gain its strength'." (Not sure if all hands have to touch each orb to gain the benefit or only one? And, we don't have to take the orbs to reap the boons. GM please clarify.)
From Earth orb: All the heroes gain a second ability they can each use once within the next 24 hours. If a hero spends an action to call upon the earth, all their melee Strikes deal 2 extra damage from a sudden surge of strength. This bonus lasts until the start of the hero’s next turn.
"Does someone want to touch the air orb to see what it has to say for itself?" Ness looked to her companions, especially Airi who stood before said orb.

Even injured from the flames as she was, Tann suffered deeper burns, so together with Verdi, Ness set about calling upon the nature spirits to aid her in transforming three of the berries into healing succour.
Goodberry 1 healing for Tann: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 (Takes 10 mins)
Goodberry 2 healing for Tann: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 (Takes 10 mins)
Goodberry 3 healing for Ness: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 (Takes 10 mins)
Ness then taking a handful of fresh mud from the pouch around her waist began casting her healing cantrip (healing plaster) on Tann and herself to deal with the remaining weeping burn wounds (a cool, plastering agent to help with the healing of burns).
Nature to treat wounds on Tann (DC 15): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24 (Takes 10 mins)
Nature to treat wounds on Ness (DC 15): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26 (Takes 10 mins)
HP returned from treat wounds to Tann: 2d8 ⇒ (2, 1) = 3
HP returned from treat wounds to Ness: 2d8 ⇒ (6, 2) = 8
Tann and Ness are both back to full HP.
In between, Ness took time to refocus and restore her nature magic. (She has 2 refocus points, again)
(The whole process takes 50 mins of healing time.)
Ness felt the relief of healthy flesh and was happy to see all of Tann's burns turn from an angry red to her usual skin pallor. Then she *tsked*. "I've only one blueberry left for my healing. If the injuries continue as they have, I'll need more, that's for sure."
===
Leo, Ness healed you whole last time (although you're showing 11/18 currently). And, I don't believe he was injured this combat, unless I missed something. Can you please change your hp to show that on your alias bar as it gets confusing who needs healing and whatnot. Thanks kindly.

Ness helped Verdi out of the coat pocket and sat down on the stone floor. Taking out two plump, ripe blueberries from her leather pouch, Ness began to undertake the magical casting to convert each berry into healing, sustaining bounty. Verdi communed with her mistress, providing a natural conduit. When she was ready, Ness handed a berry to each of her wounded companions (Tann & Leo). Between each casting and then after, Ness refocused and communed with the nature spirits all around her; replenishing what she had lost. Once she was done, Ness rose with Verdi, and, giving the sacred leshy a little kiss, Ness returned her to the safety of the coat pocket.
Goodberry 1 on Tann: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 (Tann's only down 1 hp now.)
Goodberry 2 on Leo: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 (Leo's back to full hp.)
(With two castings and two refocusing, that'll take 20 mins?)
"Tann, there's a small wound remaining. But, otherwise, you are fine. Leo, you're all healed up."
(Now, 4 fresh berries remain in Ness' pouch to be converted into goodberries.)

Content enough that Airi take the magic blade for her own, she merely mentioned, "The coin'll come in handy for the rest of us. Every bit counts."
Noting Airi's multiple wounds, Ness *tsked* before setting to task on healing the half-elf girl. She sat before her, cross-legged as was her way. Verdi appeared out of her pocket hideaway once again and took her place on Ness' thigh; a small, happy rustling sound coming from her.
Happy that she had picked ten fresh blueberries this morning and placed them in the pouch, Ness reminded herself to collect more once they had finished their work inside the fishery. (After this healing, she will have 6 remaining fresh/ripe blueberries.) With all the unforeseen injury taken this day, her berries were diminishing faster than expected. Taking two plump and juicy ones out of the pouch, she placed them in her palm and so began her commune with the nature around them; imbuing each berry in turn with the bounty and succour that would mend her friend before they could continue on.
"This'll take some time, but best you're hale and whole, Airi. Now, eat the first berry and then the second when I'm done with it."
(Using 1st focus point) Goodberry 1: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 hp returned to Airi
(Using 2nd focus point) Goodberry 2: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 hp returned to Airi
Airi was down 6+8=14 hp and she regained 14 hp. So she's back to full health. The healing will take 20 mins. In between the 1st and 2nd healing, Ness will refill one lost focus point via the Refocus activity communing with nature spirit (via Verdi).
After time has passed, Ness satisfied the wounds had healed clean and whole, patted Airi's knee and said. "You're right as rain!" Tying her pouch and placing it carefully inside the pocket of her pack (for she didn't want to squash any of the remaining fruit) and placing Verdi back inside the coat pocket with a soothing, melodic tune sounding much like an old Sylvan song Leo would remember from his childhood, she was ready to move on, if the others were.

I think Leo's at 14/17 HP after the healing unless I've missed something? Ness only worked on him for 10 mins, and not an hour which would double the hit points recovered and bring him to full HP. Maybe he could drink the healing potion to get back to full health? Or if people wished to rest for an hour and have Leo fully healed?
===
Once she finished tending to Leo's wounds and refocusing with Verdi to replenish the nature energy within her, Ness stood up, gently stroking Verdi's tiny, sweet face before putting her away inside her coat pocket, "Best to be safe than sorry," she murmured in Sylvan to the familiar before collecting her staff from the stone floor. She gently patted Leo's arm for the man believed he would die by the spider and his hysterics were not uncommon for most people disliked spiders. Though to call them evil was a little unfair. It fought to survive as we did. Ness didn't voice her thoughts aloud for the man had suffered a terrible shock and wouldn't be open to hearing her thoughts on the matter. Lucky he fought off the effects of the poison or else things would have been worse for him. Won't help tellin' him that, either.
Seeing the intact webbing still in their path, she transferred the staff into her off hand and drew her clan dagger again to cut away the spider silk where it attached itself to the wall so they could walk freely through rather than have to dodge precariously. (Not sure if she has to roll a dagger check to see if it successfully cuts through the webbing or not... I think it'd be simple to cut the strands unless they are thick like ropes?)
Ness then moved closer to Airi, casting her eyes toward the stone stairs leading up to a new tunnel. "I hope my chances are better with the next creature we cross paths with, Airi," she replied to the half-elf girl.

Ness shook her head. "The fault's mine. I couldn't make it understand." She glanced in the direction of the motionless spider, blood pouring from its eyes. "May Nature reclaim and recycle its spirit," she said in way of prayer. Then casting her eyes on the semi-bound Leo, Tann working diligently at the cutting open the webbing, Ness took a step closer and stowed her shield before drawing her clan dagger from her belt. Bending down, she placed her staff on the ground and began cutting away at the spider silk, careful not to cut the wounded fey-come-human trapped within.
Finishing her cutting work, Ness stowed her clan dagger on her belt and then drew a fresh, ripe blueberry from the pouch around her waist. Moving into a seated, cross-legged position and Verdi crawling out of the pocket to come to sit on Ness' thigh, the druidess began drawing the natural energy around her. The tiny leshy's leaves began to rustle and shine a more verdant green, as Ness began speaking the words of power, imbuing the fruit with the bounty of nature, turning it into a plump goodberry to help heal Leo. Placing the berry to the male's lips and into his mouth, she bade him chew and take in its sustenance and succour.
Heal to Leo via Goodberry: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 HP
(Leo's HP after Goodberry healing is 8/17 HP.)
====
(I realise Leo still has to make a Fort Save DC 16 against the poison or take 1 poison dmg. If he fails the DC, then Ness can attempt to Treat Poison on Leo.)
====
Standing (Verdi scrambling to climb and sit atop Ness' shoulder), Ness moved back down into the chamber with the bitter mushrooms. Cutting some of the plumper mushroom flesh and retrieving a handful of the nutrient rich soil beneath, the druidess moved back to the others and crouched beside Leo. Retrieving a few of the fresh herbs she picked that very morning, she began combining the natural ingredients to form a paste/balm with which to treat the spider bites.
Treat Wounds using Nature (DC 15): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19 (Takes 10 mins. Can continue to treat wounds this way to recover more hit points: If you treat them for a total of 1 hour, double the Hit Points they regain from Treat Wounds. Leo is then temporarily immune to Treat Wounds actions for 1 hour.)
HP recovered: 2d8 ⇒ (1, 5) = 6
(Leo's HP are now 14/17.)

(I'll wait for Leo to chime in before I have Ness attempt any more or try to regain her focus point.)

DG, in regard to the familiar abilities, is it possible to customise one:
I was thinking of customising 'Plant Form'.
---> Your plant familiar can change shape as a single action, transforming into a Tiny plant of a type roughly similar to the familiar's nature. This otherwise uses the effects of tree shape. You must have a familiar with the plant trait, such as a leshy, to select this ability.
Can I use this ability to have Verdi 'grow' ripe blueberries that can be plucked and used by Ness for her goodberry order spell? It can be hard to source fresh/ripe blueberries in every environ, so it would be a nice touch for the leshy to provide the berries when she has the above familiar ability for the day.

Ness has two focus points as she gains an extra one from her Leaf Order. I'm still going to have her refocus after healing Airi and Tann and that way she won't be left without at least one focus point in the bank?

Retcon
With two companions injured by rat bites inside a warehouse a mile from the woodlands, Ness set to the task of healing them using the old, green ways.
From the pouch around her waist, Ness removed two fresh and plump/ripe blueberries she had collected in the morning before encountering Leo and his corgi. She would have to work on one berry at a time.
Holding one blueberry in hand, and Verdi now peeking out of the coat pocket; her tiny leaves rustling with excited spirit/vigour, Ness began drawing the energy of the natural world unto her and connecting/becoming part of it. Then speaking the words of power in a strong voice, she began imbuing the berry with the healing bounty of nature.
(The next will require an interact action each from Airi and Tann)
Then, handing the first berry to Airi, for the girl had more injury inflicted on her, she instructed, "Eat this, Airi. You'll feel it healing you from within."
(◆◆) Goodberry order spell on Airi: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 HP returned (Uses 1 focus point) (Airi will be healed whole.)
====
Then, Ness picked up the second blueberry and repeated the order spell, then handing the berry to the injured Tann. "Please eat it. It'll do you good, I promise."
(◆◆) Goodberry order spell on Tann: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 HP returned (Uses 1 focus point) (Tann will be healed whole.)
====
Feeling a sense of sapping, Verdi moved from Ness' pocket to sit on the dwarf's crossed legs. With eyes closed, Ness began her silent communion with the nature spirit; her body still and open to the natural power. When feeling a sense of completion, Ness opened her eyes and stood up, gently stroking Verdi's leafy head before putting the tiny leshy back inside her pocket for safety. (Refocusing for 10 mins, returning her 1 focus point. I only had her refocus once otherwise the group would have to wait around for 20 mins so Ness can regain both her focus points?)
====
Since the berries did the trick, I didn't think Treat Wounds was necessary in this instance? I hope that was right, DG.

@Ness I have been researching the heck out of Wild Empathy. It appears that there is a lot of controversy about its practical application.
I also went down a rabbit hole while researching (happens).
I did find this for Nature skill.
Command an Animal
Which looks like you can use it in Combat, although there may still be an Attitude cravat.
The best recourse suggested I found is to allow you to use Wild Empathy (Diplomacy) for your Initiative against Animals. I could then use your roll against their Will DC and whichever ones you are successful then will go up a Step (or 2 if crit)
Your Initiative would most likely be lower although it makes sense because you are talking, gesturing, offering yummy treats.
I will keep researching.
The problem is the length of time (1 minute) and the phrase auto fail if hostile.
Haven't actually played a Druid yet so please bare with me. I agree that it should be better written as it is a defining druid feature.
Glad-hand feat for Diplomacy may help too.
EDIT
If we do it as Wild Empathy as your Initiative (vs Animals) then you could possibly use Command an Animal on your actual turn (attitude depending), or you cam attempt to Wild Empathy (as 1 Action) to increase Attitude to indifferent so then you can Command an Animal.
There are Diplomacy Feats to effect multiple targets too.
Does this make sense? I actually think it can work.
Is there anything in 2e like the feat Fast Empathy in 1e? I know this is for later (needs 5 ranks in HA or Nature in this case), but it reduces time from 1 minute to standard action.

@Tann: Had a chat with GM (and Leo) on Roll20 and apparently, I'm not able to use Wild Empathy in combat as it takes 1 minute and combat would have to be delayed. So, I edited my post for Ness to recall anything which could be useful in dealing with these large rats. Sorry. I'll be learning as I go.

@Leo: The backstory is wonderful so far.
Once he's on Golarion, I like the idea of Ambrose sniffing out/finding Ness' cave in the forest and then she can take Leo and the corgi to the treehouse (it's on the border of the forest), introduces him/them to Airi and Tannakin and Tannakin will immediately offer up the rather comfortable tree house as accommodation until Leo decides where he wants to live.

Hearing the surly reply he levelled at Mallory, Bel nodded her head at the man's "invitation" to enter the tent. We'll see how much coin he tries to weasel out of us. As she walked past him, Bel noticed Zograthy's complexion and the tell-tale signs of addiction, having seen it before with those who live on the streets and the darkest holes. The man's addicted to Pesh. He has it bad. Bel didn't know if it would bode well for them - trying to get the information they needed. The man had an itch that needed to be scratched.
As she drew near Zadira, inside the tent, she whispered against the woman's ear, her face deliberately turned away from the man, "He's addicted to Pesh. Be mindful."

The leaf leshy didn't come into the picture until Ness reached adulthood (25). I think I confused the situation with the part about Airi spoiling Verdi with attention (that happened years later). Ha.
======
Sitting down at the table with the Skinker family and Airi, Ness felt a little awkward. She'd gotten rather used to sitting on the cavern floor to eat her simple meals (except for the one day a week she returned to her family home). The people here were sweet and rowdy - it was certainly interesting taking a meal with a human, elf and half-elves. They liked to chatter. Her dwarven clan liked to chew, grunt and make other sounds rather than carry on a conversation.
Gregg wrote: "Dwarven cuisine is underrated, isn't it? But cave carrots give such a nice flavor to a stock!"
Ness nodded as she watched the man prepare the meal. "Cave carrots and wild winter root go well in a stew. Sometimes, I like to pour honey over cave carrots and roast them over the fire. Sweet, smoky and full of nutrients." She stopped talking and continued to gaze at the pot. Ness didn't want them thinking she was a loon like some others did in town.
Gregg wrote: "I learned this recipe from one of my dwarf friends, a guy who makes knives and knicknacks over at Blades n' Glades. He made this knife, and it's a beauty--the value's in the tempering of the steel and the thought put into the balance. A fine chef's blade, this"[/b]
Ness was a little surprised as Gregg mentioned her brother. He shared our old granny's recipe with the human? Nokham must admire him. "That'll be my elder brother, Nokham. He's one of the finest smiths in town and knows it - he's not shy about it. My cousins are fine smiths, too - making shields and weapons over axes and knives."
Gregg wrote: "I've seen you in the market sometimes, miss, so if you ever need the friends and family price on general goods, stop by the Skinker stall, won't ya?"
"I come into town once a week for provisions. I'll stop by, soon," not wishing to offend the man upon his kindly offer.
Tannakin wrote: Tannakin responds by saying that at least she and Airi have a tree fort AND a friend with a cave in the forest that they can visit any time.
"It's a strong and sturdy tree. It'll hold the weight of the three of us. Just have to be mindful of the edge," Ness grinned a little, recollecting the sight of the younger Airi driving Tannakin off the edge. "My cave's safe, so the girls will be safe. The animals won't harm me or my friends."
Airi wrote: Airi smiles a bit mischievously. "After dinner, we went outside and walked into the forest. As we were going into the forest, the sun started to set. It cast shadows on the ground. They looked like ghouls and we started to act like we were fighting them in battle."
In a casual yet reflective manner, Ness added, "The soulless ones live in the deeper, darker places. I do not venture there. Best to keep away from such places and things." Realising she may be frightening the younger half-elven siblings with her words, Ness added more happily, "Although, there's certainly adventure to be had in the forest, if you treat her right!"
