Smiling as Julril shook his hand, Leo responded "Yes well met indeed." Pleased that there was some sort of a plan, he watched as the soldier readied his shield. Leo for his part, turned and called to his miniature corgi, "Come Ambrose." and the two followed the others, Ambrose waiving his tail and Leo waiving the blue flamed torch.
Wrinkling his nose from the smell wafting from the room ahead, Leo holds his blue flamed torch high to help shed light ahead. Having kept his position in the back, he's not sure that the seated trio are in fact the kobolds until he hears their challenge. Hearing Nyswyn whisper something about moving forward and then something about being charming, he realizes shes greeting the kobolds. He blinks a couple of times trying to remember if the meat on the sandwiches was fish and wondered if the picknick basket had any more food in it.
Noticing Julril displaying his holy symbol and whispering, Leo raises an eyebrow as Tannakin threatens the Kobolds. Hearing Julril's comment nods his head in agreement, then shrugs. "Tis well we shant be required to give up our sandwiches."
Apparently this is just a little fluff until our position on the map changes, so I know what Leo will be able to do.

Round 1 Kobold Warren Animal House!
Tannakin begins to shoot her mouth off at one of the kobolds, but it falls flat.
Failure! By 1 actually!
The swashbuckler ever confident shouts a taunt at the other kobold along the far wall!

Laughing (but staying outside the chamber), Tannakin then shouts encouragement to Sansaárë.
CRIT Success! +2 for Sansaárë!
Leo watches the further shenanigans of the sisters with a smile....
Sansaárë also smiles at the shouts and threats from the Mighty Dragons!. The rogue strides into the room, shakes and bakes the Frightened Kobold and strikes!
Miss! Hit! 10 damage! Because of Frightened 2, Flat-footed and One for All! Nicely done Tannakin!
The Frightened kobold bleeds its own blood onto the table!
The kobolds looks ready to reciprocate!

EDIT!
As the rogue's blade exits the body of the Frightened kobold, it falls to the floor. He is no longer frightened, because well, Pharasma frowns on torturing. She lets Zon kuthon deal with that portion of the afterlife!

Both kobolds seem to be drooling and just standing there enjoying the light show!
Ness is up!

I already took Ness' round 1 actions. So, this is Round 2?
I had Ness move into the chamber 20 ft last round. I'm going to roll Perception to see if she can see anymore this round.

Since Airi and Leo moved down/in, yes Ness followed suit and strode in 20 ft in Round 1. I did say she’d move in once the human congestion wasn’t so bad. There’s only so much slipping past Ness could do from the back. ;)

Round 1/2 Kobold Warren Animal House!
Ness and Leo watch the snarling, spitting draconian approaching from the side caverns!
We are Mighty Dragons! Bow and gives us tributes! Or bees dead and foods!
The two kobolds that just watched their card buddy get stabbed by the blonde elf can only watch the next moments from their stunned positions! Actually, they can't even do that because they are also blind from the trippy light show from our fun fey!
Round 2!
Their snarling and spitting from the right of both Leo and Ness, a trio of kobolds come rushing out. Shaking their spears high (well not so high because they are actually small) and growling with violence!

Nyswyn Greenseyn
Okay. A point of confusion/contention. Since Ness couldn't take her Round 2 actions before the kobolds, then her striding in 20 ft (which happened in Round 1) would have placed her in the square right behind Leo (where kobold 6 is currently/now standing). Her moving 10 ft back was her Round 2 actions which were nixed when the kobolds attacked.
Dorian 'Grey'
So, let us pretend that your DM isn't bat s!@! crazy and the kobolds go last in the Round.
@Ness you may ignore the damage and we will begin clean as positioned in Round 2! PCs go!

Pleased that his spell seemed to work just fine, Leo's eyes widen as the trio of kobolds come rushing out from the other side of the cave. Blinking as the kobolds seem so small in comparison to his regular size, leo, watches as they surround him. Shifting slightly to the left as the kobold to his front stabs at him while sidestepping to the right as the kobold to his rear thrusts his spear as well.
Relieved that neither struck him, he turns to retreat in just enough time to watch the soldier draw his sword and swing at the kobold between them. Just as Tannakin jumps over them landing piercing the kobold through with her rapier.
Chuckling at Julril's response Leo shrugs, "I doest have no idea, but truly, I am gladst that she can." As Nyswn steps away from the menacing kobolds and Sansaárë strides foward, Leo realizes it's time for a hasty retreat.

Round 2 Kobold Warren Animal House!
Julril stabs out with his longsword, but the cleric goes a bit wide.

The cleric raises his shield and watches Tannakin with a bit of awe.
Tannakin does some acrobatics--Dick Grayson kind of s#!* and totally downs the kobold that formerly was standing there!
Success! Hit!
The swashbuckler then offers some friendly advice to Sansaárë.
Success! +1 to Sansaárë!
Nyswyn raises her trusty shield, steps back into a better position and retrieves her staff.
Sansaárë does some impressive feinting and strikes dead the kobold next to the druid!
Success! Hit!
Leo being a wizard at tossing the everburning torch, decides that when you're hot, you're hot!
CRIT!
The remaining two kobolds aren't even looking a bit afraid by these fatal happenings. Most likely because both are Blind, so couldn't see the carnage!
Kobold#3 shakes the dust out of his eyes enough to see Tannakin standing on top of his buddy's head!

So what actually happened was two kobolds--one blind--are easily way over there heads in this particular combat. Both struggle to be successful in any of their endeavors.
Nothing actually happened that affects our Heroes in any negative (although perhaps amusing) way. The DM is even beginning to think that you guys are not fearful of these mighty dragons!

"Well, it looks like my old friends have the situation under hand afterall..."
Julril steps into the room and shouts, after a quick prayer to the inheritor, hoping the kobolds can understand him well enough, "Villains! We have you bested. Lay down your arms and surrender, or else the less compassionate of my fellows will send you off to meet Tiamat in the sky!"

“Boss Zolgran is the big leader of the mighty kobolds, and she has powerful magics to roast you alive! She’s very angry all the time and demands much from her servants. Especially now that we have a powerful new friend!”
“The friend is a dragon and a blessing from the gods, a sign that kobolds are destined to return to the surface and conquer the pathetic human town. As soon as the hatchling is all grown, we’ll rise up to take what is ours!”

Hey guys. Look at what I found. It holds a bolt of fine silk cloth worth 5 gp, a painting of an adventurer on a horse worth 2 gp, a sack filled with 20 sp, a crystal decanter filled with old, sour wine (the decanter is worth 1 gp), 3 jars of oil (minus any the kobolds threw during the fight), a ladder feather token, and a healing potion.

Seeing the puddle under the lone Kobold, Leo almost feels bad for scaring the little lizard. Almost. Raising an eyebrow as the Lizard tries to bargain, Leo looks to the others, not really sure how humans, elves and dwarves do things. "Tis it common for prisoners of big folk to makest demands?"
Realizing that he'd have little effect speaking with the kobold, leo begins to follow Sansaárë towards the chest. But hearing a slurping behind him he realizes Ambrose is drinking water from the fountain. Shaking his head he walks towards the corgi. There was a rustling inside Ness' coat pocket and then Verdi appeared and climbed up to sit atop the druidess' shoulder. Of course, we need to tell Mistress Tamily what we've discovered in her fishery since that was our purpose for investigatin' the place."

She wished to determine if any magic surrounded them. (Cast Detect Magic on the items - such as the father ladder token and healing potion to determine what they are.)
(After some time has lapsed...)
"We should leave the fishery and head back to town this night. We've much to do and best we don't linger here longer than we have to. What say you?"

Ok, Let's get ready to go back up and let everyone know what's going on. While we are there, we will split the loot and reload. Should we tie him up so he doesn't try to run?

Julril agrees to return upside and report in, as well as turn over the surrendered kobold. Knowing the state of the crowd outside, he keeps his shield up to hide and protect the prisoner until they can make safe passage and hand him over.
"There's more of these creatures inside, I'm afraid," he tells Tam, "and it seems they've themselves a pet dragon, although a mere hatchling by the sound of it. We can return at dawn and finish the job."

The Heroes of Otari decide to lead their captive out to the authorities for processing, booking, and, possibly to get more delicious sandwiches.
Emerging from the dark, damp cellar of the Fishery, our Heroes are met by the still milling about town's folk. Captain Lardus Longsaddle, Mayor Oseph Menhemes, Vandy Banderdash, Yanyismera, and Tamily Tanderveil are seen talking together. Seeing the emergence of our Heroes, the town's most influential citizens quickly motion for the Heroes to follow them to a secluded area behind the Fishery.
Tamily pushes another picnic basket, filled with sandwiches at them.
What news from the cellars?
At the sight of the kobold prisoner, the elders of town each look warily at them....
When Julril mentions an army of vicious kobolds, being led by a monstrous dragon, the elders each begin to babble excessively mostly about the insurance implications that this news carries....
RP at will...hehe!
Nyswyn Greenseyn
The gathering surprised her, yet they didn't need to go far to warn the elders.
Ness cleared her throat as the town leaders began to fret and babble. "If I might interrupt, this kobold did say once the hatchling's grown, the kobolds would rise up and take what they say is theirs. I'd say our best bet is to find this hatchling and kill it before it gets bigger, hungrier and stronger. Although, as you know, I'm not one for killing creatures as a first recourse. However, it might be a lesser evil. The kobold leader, Zolgran, she has magic, so we have to find and kill her as well." She looked side long at the kobold prisoner. "The prisoner gave them up and wants gold and his freedom in return. I'll leave that to your discretion," looking to the Captain and Mayor.
"I'm in need to urgent supplies before we go back down, again," looking around at her companions. (Setting up for Ness' departure...)

Once again following along behind the others, Leo whistles for Ambrose making sure the little Corgi was following along. As they moved, he enjoyed waiving his blue flamed torch back and forth, intrigued with the way the flame moved through the spaces. He was used to being able to illuminate things but playing with the unburning flame entertained him.
Comfortable staying behind the others and letting them explain to their fellow citizens what was going on, he watched and listened hoping someone would formulate a plan he could help with.

Tannakin Skinker
Tannakin fluffs up as big as she can and struts around the townsfolk. "Nothing to worry about here, people. Everything is in our capable hands. Dragons ain't nothin' to us folks of Otari."
Later, after bragging and accepting a clandestine drink or three from the fiascos of the crowd, her thoughts turn to the hatchling dragon. Poor little thing. Not much different than Ol' Twitchy Eye the dire rat. She reaches down and gives OTE a pat... and jerks her hand out of her jaws just before they snap shut, and thinks how happy OTE will be in the woods when she's set free. She also hauls on the rat's leash, hard, to send a message. "Calm down, Twitch!"
When she can, whether that night or the next day, she suggests to Ness, "If we captured the dragon baby, do you think we could raise it to be a nice dragon? How could we capture it without killing it? Like, we could knock it down into unconsciousness, truss it up, and then pour a healing potion down its throat, and then explain that it should be a good dragon after the fire dies down? Something like that, maybe? Like what we did with Ol' Twitch?"
Eventually, she sees one of her many siblings in the crowd and sends word home that she's had nine hells of an adventure, but she'll be having dinner with Tamily's family tonight, so no need to wait up.
