Female Aasimar Druid 7 (Noble)
I was asking myself the same question just last week. I found these discussion threads regarding size and pathfinder 2e: Discussion 1 and Discussion 2. I hope they can useful.

Yes! I was looking at that feat for Elry.

Okay, thank you!
djdust: Would a cleric be able to speak and read Celestial in PF2e? I couldn't find a definitive answer to this in my searches. Celestial is considered an Uncommon Language in 2e, so I wasn't sure if Elry could pick it up as one of her languages during her theological studies (she's trained in Religion). Or does she have to be at Expert level to learn/know/understand Celestial? Thanks! :)

Or we could all hang out in the city district of Duskgate, where there's a halfling owned pub, 'Marigold Pub', and drink our cares away. haha. Perhaps sing a song or two. The village of Pinegate could be best for purchasing some good adventuring shoes. ;)

Good Morning! I was up earlier than usual. Some halflings do wear boots, if that helps with the sore hairy feet. ;) (I read that somewhere as I was learning more about Halflings.)
djdust, I've changed Elry's halfling feat to Halfling Luck, too. I was tossing up between two options and decided it's a better fit. I hope that's okay. :) Finally found the perfect image for Elry: Here

DG: Since your Sébastien is leaning toward entertainer and luck, then perhaps Neria, Dreamspeaker, Singer of Songs is a good deity for him? I looked at Paletius, The All-Seeing Eye, and he seems more into scholarly pursuits, cataloguing and disseminating knowledge and I wasn't sure that's where you're heading with your Bard Maestro!

You're welcome. I hope this helps. :) (p.s. If you don't have any spells, you can just delete that section of the template. I just left it in in case you do.)
Smiles-a-lot wrote: @Ariah - I really like your character sheet with all the links. Is there a template somewhere or did you build it out yourself? Thanks, Smiles-a-lot! :) I believe the char sheet template was given to us in another PF2e game by Dorian Grey. I can remove my details and leave the unfilled stat sheet for you to use. I will post a link to the sheet (with html coding included) once I'm done.
This is the Halfling character I've built for the game (I'm sure I'll tweak her a little and add the fluff etc if selected for the game). Her name is Elry Larkwing, Halfling (Twilight Halfling heritage), background; Emmisary, Cleric (doctrine: Cloistered Cleric), Domain: Family, Deity: Aleria, The Love of Life. I'll add a personality blurb soon. Dinner time here in Oz, so I'm taking a little break. :) If there are mistakes, please let me know and I'll edit the sheet. Thank you kindly!
Ancestry: 1d100 ⇒ 71 Halfling it is! ==== Hello, I'm also in the 50's group (51). I'm from Sydney, Australia. An accountant, carer, wife and mother (one human son, 25 years old, and one fur-son kitty 2 years old). Ever since I can remember, fantasy has been my favourite genre. I was never a gamer growing up (back then I was a dancer/singer and more of an outdoor tomboy explorer and sporty type, who has broken more bones than anyone I know). To round off my outdoor adventures, I was a voracious reader and a writer of poetry (I've even had some poetry published in an anthology many years ago). I've started writing my own novels, but I have three sitting unfinished and unpublished. I enjoy photography (shared pursuit with hubby) and being creative/artistic on a colouring app (not an artist, however I do like to colour.) In 2011, a writer/gamer friend of mine introduced me to Paizo and online RPGs and I was hooked. I really enjoy creating characters - more rounded, not so perfect characters as I like them to be real and not superheroes. I'm not into optimising/min-maxing (not shaming those who do), but roleplaying and growing organically as a game progresses. Still, I am in awe of people who have a character developed to level 20 in their minds when they've just started a game at level 1. It's just not how my mind works. ;) PF1e is my favourite RPG and I've started learning PF2e (hello to the djdust and Dorian 'Grey' :)). I understand not all characters will get along in a game - I just dislike when a party picks one character at the outset and then consistently set them on the outer - bearing the brunt of party's ire and censure - doesn't make for a fun game (be there, done that, threw the t-shirt away). So, in saying that, if I'm enjoying a game and feel like I'm adding value and can play/grow my character among the others, then I am fully and happily invested. I am interested in gaining more experience in PF2e as I know quite a few GMs on the board who prefer to run PF2e games over PF1e. Thank you for wanting to run a PF2e game, djdust. At this stage of my life, I prefer a medium paced game (I'm okay with slow, but I just don't have the time for a fast-paced/neck-breaking game, especially with different time zones in play). I can post at least 1/day on the week days - weekends I have to play it by ear as it's family and catching up on chores time and also that is when my carer duties come into play (still, if we're in combat and it's a weekend, I'll post or ask someone to bot me if I can't post in a timely fashion).

If I swapped my Dwarf background from 'Plant Whisperer' to 'Field Medic' then I get the following: You're trained in the Medicine skill, and the Warfare Lore skill. You gain the Battle Medicine skill feat. Does it make more sense to have the Field Medic background since we no longer have a cleric in the party?
Female Aasimar Druid 7 (Noble)
I'm still working on my Dwarf, but so far, regarding healing, has Healing Plaster as a primal cantrip, Heal as a first level spell and has the Goodberry order spell under the Leaf Druidic Order. Under Plant Whisperer background, has the Nature Medicine skill feat (at level 2?).
Female Aasimar Druid 7 (Noble)
Alrighty, I'm leaning more to Druid now. I think it's fitting since the very first character I played in 1e is a Druid and now my first in 2e is a Druid. I think I'm going with the Leaf Druidic Order and getting a sweet Leshy Familiar. ;) Hmm. I think I'm going Dwarf Druid with Plant Whisperer background.

Yes, it makes sense, from what I've gleamed so far. Just a question: Would a Ranger or Druid be a better fit for the current party makeup? I'm okay with either. I read this in my research of Otari: In the Immenwood: The growth of the trees was once supercharged by the Old Forest Aeon Tower, but since the death of Aroden more than a century ago, the local lumber barons of the Kortos Consortium have been looking to druids to help boost it. It appears they have a vital purpose to the lumber industry of Otari.

Hello! I just got a lovely invite to join in. I’ve never played in any PF2e games and when I tried reading the rules once, I was flustered. I’d love to try and learn. Not sure what I’d like to play yet. I’ll take a look at the creation rules in my morning and see what classes other people wish to play and go from there. :)
Lathiira wrote: Dotting. Thinking a witch, ley line guardian, is what I'm in the mood for. @Lathiira: Hi! Just so you're aware, you can only chose from the following core classes: Barbarian, Bard, Cleric, Druid, Fighter, Monk, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Sorceror, or Wizard (including Unchained versions).

Yay! We all got in. :) Robert Henry, you are so generous and I would say the same of you! Thank you! Here's to all three of us playing in this game. I am definitely going with oracle and have started building her. I was working on her being at level 5 - but it's no problem making her 4th level. I have no issue with a slow game - works well for me as it fits in with my RL responsibilities. Thanks for taking us all, GM Tarondor! I've just read the PMs and will reply shortly. :)
GM Tarondor wrote: Need two more players. We're about halfway into Dragon's Demand. My last 1e game! Please let me know if you're interested. Hi, GM Tarondor! :) I'm interested if you still need one more player. I can build either an oracle or a bard (if there's preference for one over the other, please let me know, and I can get started).
I, too, have a soft spot for bards, @Kazmanaught, and I'm sincerely not trying to step on your player toes (the more bards the merrier!). Since we have a number of cleric ideas already floating around on the recruitment thread (another class I like to play), I've been working on an Azata-Blooded (Musetouched) Bard (Argent Voice). Still tweaking the crunch and fluff. Will post the character "stuff" as soon as I finish. :)

I’m open to the idea, if we both get in and the GM is okay with the hook. :)
Shadow_Fox, no problem re the background skills. Thanks for answering. I'm visual, too, so I like pictures. Here's the whole of my submission now for your consideration. Thank you.:) Appearance & Personal info:
Image of Rîleth Age: 116 years Height: 5'10" Weight: 120 lbs Body type: Willowy, graceful, slender physique. Eyes: Wide, expressive, almond-shaped, grey-green in colour. Ears: Elegantly pointed. Hair: Long, dark-haired (kept in a single braid when travelling/exploring). Skin: Fair with a touch of a tan. Tattoo: Rune, nature patterns across her forehead. Clothes: Neat, fashionable, practical, tends to prefer cloth in shades of grey and green. (Dresses in more traditional elven garments made of soft fabric featuring cuts and patterns - both flattering and not restricting movement.) Deity: Desna Home town: Crying Leaf - a small isolated Elven village in Varisia's Mierani Forest (a day's travel from the ruins of the former elf city of Celwynvian). Backstory, including tie in to Sandpoint:
Rileth was the only child of two High Elves – her seer mother, Idilai, and scholar father, Naronel. She was born in the isolated elven village of Crying Leaf in the Mierani Forest in Varisia, which was a day’s travel from the ruins of the former ancient elven stronghold of Celwynvian. Her parents’ great passion was lore and ancient civilisations and they passed this love onto their daughter. When the other elven children ran off to loudly practice with their bows and blades, Rileth could be found quietly pouring over the old tomes and scrolls in her parents’ library (or travelling chest) or listening to them (and other elders) recount their travels, adventures and the sights they had seen. It was through these stories that she grew particularly fascinated with Thassilonian lore. When she was young, her parents would bring her with them on their sojourns to ancient ruins – fuelling the child’s natural curiosity and adventurous spirit. Rileth was not the brightest student – yet she was studious and determined to learn the secrets of the ancients and she learned to read and speak the ancient Thassilonian tongue. When Rileth and her parents returned to Crying Leaf, Idilai and Naronel were tasked with helping to protect the cordoned, shadowy borders of the forest surrounding Celwynvian. It was here that her parents lost their lives; leaving her an orphan. Her late mother’s closest friend, Kameili (Kami as Rileth called her) took her in and taught her to use a bow and rapier (as well as to perform certain arcane magic) as it would not do to have an elven child of the forest not know how to wield either weapon or magic. Rileth, in her loneliness and sadness, poured over the old tomes and scrolls that once were her parents – doing so late at night when Kami was sleeping and she did not have other tasks and duties to undertake. When she came of age, Rileth decided to leave the Mierani Forest and strike out on her own – continue to travel and learn. Kami begrudgingly gave her consent (Rileth was resolved to leave and Kami’s approval was merely a formality). During the course of her travels, Rileth heard of an ancient Thassilonian ruin still partly standing in the small coastal city of Sandpoint in Varisia’s Lost Coast. She had not visited this ruin and headed to the town. On arrival, she inquired and made the acquaintance of the local balding human historian/scholar, Brodert Quink, who had been studying ancient Thassilonian ruins and the history of the region for the past several years – in particularly the Old Light – believed to have been a lighthouse during the ancient Thassilonian empire – although much of its structure had crumbled over the ages. The Old Light was certainly a magnet for curious academics interested in such lore and Rileth remained in Sandpoint these past four months studying it alongside Brodert Quink.
Personality:
Rileth can be considered “bookish” by some (being an avid reader)– yet as much of her study has been in the field and not just from books, scrolls or stories. She is a curious and self-motived elf who is eager to learn as much as she can. She is not as aloof/guarded as some of her kind – generally being more friendly and pleasant to be around. A bit of a risk taker, she can be reckless in the pursuit of discoveries and answers and single-minded when deeply involved in some task or discovery. She values the past and friendships and is uncommonly loyal. Rileth is honourable – keeps to her word, delivers on promises and wishes to help family and friends. She has a quick temper – yet manages to diffuse it with bemused laughter. She doesn’t take herself too seriously – although she does take the work seriously. Rileth's Crunch: Rîleth Mithrandir
