One of the players in our Starfinder Tuesday game will be running a few select individuals in PF2e Kingmaker next month.
Two of us still need to finish our Monday EC game. Also, the DM and another playing still need to finish up their AoEW game.
We play weekly on Discord and Foundry for the EC game. They play their AoEW game on Roll20 and Discord.
I have actually never even played a Kingmaker game PF1e or PF2e. I have always wanted so excited for it.
Druid seems a solid choice. We can change our paths every day, because we choose our spells daily!

<--- New druid character. Alright. I'm thinking once Ness returns to town, she receives some bad news regarding her family and must attend to them immediately. Not wishing to leave her friends/companions in the lurch, she goes to find Iona Glenns (a herbalist druid in the order of a leaf and someone Ness feels will do a good job in her stead) and tells her what the party has uncovered and asks her to seek them out and join them. I think this will be a neat and tidy exit and arrival between the two druids. I think I like the concept of Iona a little better than Ness and I'll be able to properly characterise her being she is human and not a dwarf. (I think that the locals of Otari - Julril, Tann and Airi will certainly know of the Glenns - especially Ula who is a village elder and her granddaughter Iona. They might not be as friendly close as they are with Ness, but they are friendly acquaintances. She'll have to be introduced to Leo.)
If there are any blatant errors, I'll happily correct them as I'm functioning on COVID brain right now and probably have mixed some things up.
So, Iona is a human druid (herbalist)2 with a fruit leshy familiar named Morra Moringstar. She isn't entirely different from Ness, but she has her own quirks and motivations.

Thanks, guys!

I have a really intense weekend coming up, so I may be slow to post and I likely can't level up.
Seems like we might be hitting an RP heavy moment, so RPbot me if necessary: you know Tan by now--she'll be snarky, she'll tease her friends, she'll be ambitious and oblivious and annoying and ready for a fight. But with a generous heart and a deeper concern for the people around her than seems apparent at first!
Nyswyn Greenseyn
Good luck with your intense weekend, Tann.
Dorian 'Grey'
Iona looks fine. I see what you are doing. Believe me that having both a Druid and a cleric is a boon.
In honor of Ness, Mad Marvin Dundlerock Druid (leaf) and his Leshy familiar, Mary Jane, will be tackling Kingmaker!
@Tannakin take pictures!

Understood, DG. Thanks.
And, glad to see another dwarven druid and his trusty leshy (cool names!) taking on an adventure. May they be ever fruitful!
Mad Marvin Dundlerock
I actually just got done building him!
I actually have his full 20 level build in my head, but that won't get done on Profile until this weekend perhaps...lol.
I am off to bed...lol.
Dorian 'Grey'
@Iona isn't Plant Shape a 10th level Feat?
@Julril looks good!
Iona Enid Glenns
It looks like it is. I did set the parameters at level 1. I’m headed to bed now. I’ll correct it tomorrow. Sorry about that.
Druid feat: Reach Spell - extend range of spells by 30ft.
Dorian 'Grey'
We hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. We are getting our first snow of the season today!
There is zero hurry, but I will write up the return and report post tomorrow.
Tonight is game night!

@Leo your Hp 20 should be Hp 22 [6(ancestry)+12(classx2)+4(Conx2)]?

Since Leo will wake up glowing at will he won't be dragging the torch around. But the question, will his cloths and pack and such shrink back with him, or will he have to find barbie cloths so he's not wearing a hanky.
I think his clothes will change with him, since they were on him when he awoke here. But the hanky is a fun idea.
Dorian 'Grey'
I will hope that your imagination will get the better of you, my friend! Entertaining either way!
Congrats on running your first game! I have been thinking of doing the same soon.....hehe!
Nyswyn Greenseyn
I'm having a vicious cough attack (damn you COVID). I'll be back a little later and do a quick rp handover to my new character on the game play thread. Thanks!
Leo, good luck GMing your first game. And yay! 500 posts. :)
Nyswyn Greenseyn
Julril, safe travels and enjoy your family time. :)
Leialoha of the Sugalo
Loot List is on Sansaárë's Profile page. If any items sold is desired you may repurchase it at cost.
ok, I think I got it? Did Leo keep the bowl and the torch? As a human he loves the torch, as a fey, it's too big and he lights up. But if he kept it, that's fine. He maybe able to talk one of the others to carry it and drop it as soon as we enter combat. He will need something for his Telekinetic Projectile cantrip. Thinking about using coins, that are in a pouch tied around Ambrose's neck. But I'd like him to have something available in case there somewhere where there is nothing.
Dorian 'Grey'
Any items claimed by players are named and were not charged for said item. If you want to drop any item, then it will be available for others. If no one wants it then it can be sold.
Nyswyn Greenseyn
The altruistic person that Ness is, she's given Iona Enid her 1 healing potion and her 20 gp share of the loot. :) Now noted on Iona's character sheet.
Iona Enid Glenns
Okay, cleaned up Iona's gear list as I ended up double dipping in same equipment (bad COVID brain) and then I had her buy a couple of other things before meeting up in the morning.
Tannakin Skinker
Finally getting around to leveling Tan!
Polling the room for what sounds most fun/useful.
Class Feat:
1. Sorcerer dedication, draconic, with cantrips Shield and Daze. Shield will give Tan a defensive option and maybe she'll be better at taking a few punches and requiring less constant attention. Shield will conflict somewhat with One For All because OFA also uses a reaction. Daze will give me a ranged weapon and has good synergy with Bon Mot. With Red Dragon, I'd be on the path to get True Strike, which will eventually be nice for a swash.
2. Tumble Behind so that I get my foes flat-footed when I tumble for panache. -2 to AC is a good bonus--the feat doesn't take any actions, so Tan wouldn't suddenly have three good reactions to use.
Skill Feat (doesn't seem quite as important):
Cat Fall, Quick Jump, Intimidating Glare, Battle Medicine.
Julril Zummish
Swashbucklers now get sorcerer abilities? Cool.
Cat Fall and Quick jump sound up your alley. I'd say don't worry about Battle Medicine, as Julril has it already, plus other healing capabilities.
Tannakin Skinker
It's the 2e version of multiclass--they are called "dedications" now and let you dip into another class' features.
Iona Enid Glenns
I like the Sorcerer Dedication (Draconic) for Tann's Class Feat and Cat Fall for the skill feat as we all know Tann tends to throw herself head first into the fray and these will be of aid to her.
I agree you don't need Battle Medicine as you have two healers in the party - Julril as primary and Iona as secondary.
Iona Enid Glenns
Alright. I was/am trying to understand the whole class feat and picking up a dedication feat in its place. I decided to forgo the Reach Spell class feat for the Herbalist Dedication Feat. Skill Feat I picked up Fresh Ingredients. I hope that's right, DG?.
Dorian 'Grey'
Dedication Feats take the place of Class Feats, so yes...lol.
Tannakin Skinker
Have family over for Thanksgiving and am just running behind in general--sorry, all! I'll catch up when I can.
Dorian 'Grey'
Wait, what! My posting seems to ramp up during holidays...
Probably most most Recruitment Thread watching time....and I have 10 already!
RH you may need to sabotage my submissions...lol.
Dorian 'Grey'
I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. Tannakin, Julril doing ok? Iam happy to see our Ness...errr...Iona back at 'em!
My OCD will not allow me to continue until our Fey provides us with his response to our Rogue.
In my head, the scene has played out in 14 different ways and all of them hilarious (what? We Been off since after work early Wednesday).
Leialoha of the Sugalo
I'm very confused, I assumed the rogue was talking to Tann, not leo... don't they live together or something?
She went to the window and said she saw Ambrose but not Leo, but had earlier addressed someone else in the building. I assumed she was talking to someone in the building.
Maybe Tamm wants to answer? Or would you rather I assume time has passed and Leo is getting nervous?
Dorian 'Grey'
Let's says, Leo heard her ask where's Leo.
Have a safe flight.
Tann can catch up. He is usually busy this time of year.
Dorian 'Grey'
I forgot we have our Starfinder Tuesday game tonight. I still need to create a starship @11th tier, so post here tomorrow...
Dorian 'Grey'
Yuppers! We had a starship since 3rd level...lol. We are now 11th. I may have neglected it for a few levels.
Iona Enid Glenns
DG, I have a question for you.
At dawn each day, new fruit ripens on the fruit leshy. If the ripened berries are not consumed by day's end (for sustenance/healing), I presume they rot and drop off? As there is no cap stated on the number of berries on a fruit leshy, I read on a pathfinder discussion board that a GM house-ruled/allowed the fruit leshy to bear a number of fruits equal to the key ability score modifier. In this case it would be 3 as she uses Iona's WIS modifier. Is this acceptable to you? That every day at dawn, Morra develops three ripened fruits on her body and if not consumed by midnight, they rot/shrivel and drop off.
Dorian 'Grey'
A Fruit leshy is a Heritage of the Leshy Ancestry.
Your familiar is a leaf leshy per RAW.
You can have as many berries as Goodberry spell is needed. That she keep you freshly supplied each day.
As long as you have a Focus point to spend, you got berries.
Iona Enid Glenns
1 person marked this as a favorite.
So, that means she starts the day with 2 fresh ripe berries as Iona has 2 Focus points and every time she refocuses upon using the Goodberry spell (which takes 10 mins) she can gain another?
Iona Enid Glenns
ok, using scots gaelic as sylvan, I will adjust, I usually use it for dwarf :)
Which language do you use for Sylvan, then?
Leialoha of the Sugalo
I was using MYANMAR (BURMESE) for sylvan, I liked the letters. I don't think I've done Sylvan before as a characters primary language. I'm cool with Gaelic. I just like to play my dwarves with a scottish accent, so I use gaelic as dwarf. Not that it matters since I'm not going to play a dwarf here :)
I lean towards languages that use different letters/alphabets most of the time, it feels more alien to me.
