"Pazuzu, have you come to correct the failures of your son? Do you think you can easily do that...have you not heard the stories your foul spawn tell? Or have you come to bend your knee to my power?" Nyctessa says with a booming voice as the only option remaining was to confront the demon lord.

Ignore free explore and discard Druid of The Flame to Explore Card 1: Pazuzu.

Temporary Closing: Ramexes banishes Soulshear temporarily closing Watchtower. Villain is cornered.

Amaryllis gives Nyctessa 4 Mythic Counters for a total of 10 and gives Uliah 1 Mythic Counter for a total of 5. Uliah gives 5 Mythic Counters to Nyctessa for a total of 15.

Nyctessa recharges Transmogrify.
Difficulty Reduction: 1d10 + 4 + 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (8) + 4 + 2 + (3) = 17 Beautiful.

Pazuzu wasted no time in assaulting the necromancer as he attempted to steal power from each member of the party. However, they were all ready to share take the burnt of the damage shielding her as she completing her spells.

Yet, Nyctessa smiled as the foul magic had no effect. Thunder began to crash around the battlefield which had already been manipulated to her liking...unbeknownst to the enemy. One of Uliah's troops stood strong next to her.

"We will purify this land in the only way possible, burning out the infestation!" he rallied as she weaved her spell. The battlefield was deafening stopping any attempt Pazuzu had for controlling her mind so he prepared to charge...

The druid was more than ready to lend her power as she next sacrificed one of his minions to create monstrous tendrils of flames that streaked forward grabbing the demon lords wings. Within a moment of struggle he fell to the ground in a rain of ash and feather. His roars of fury rang out for miles as he recovered and charged forward, now on land and with his spear pointed forward.

Nyctessa glances back at her weakened allies and all the other crusaders battling demons. She laughed quietly before speaking with a calm voice that somehow carried and overpowered the roars of Pazuzu.

"This world is mine and so are the inhabitants within it. You have overstayed your welcome. You will bend to my will or I will send you back to your festering pit in pieces."

The very power of death began to swirl around the necromancer becoming a towering avatar that drained the life force of all the lesser demons still on the battlefield. Even the druid and newly sacrificed grubs swelled with the power of undeath as their avatars reached out with translucent black claws that appeared to welcome the demon lords charge.

And at the moment they collided it was as if a cloud of the deepest darkness crashed against Kodar Mountains as the necromantic energies erupted around Pazuzu. Still he charge forward and still Nyctessa cackled madly. It was hard to see clearly through the dark swirls but some of the more powerful could perceive the flesh of the demon lord to be withering and his momentum slowed...till he was in striking distance.

The thrust of his massive spear was accompanied by a roar strong enough to sweep away the remaining darkness revealing the final scene to the onlookers. A ragged giant of bone, feather, and gore held out a spear while Nyctessa stood there holding it back with just the tip of her finger which only a drop of blood drooped from. The demon lords physical form had lost all power in this realm and crumpled.

I wasn't trying to save their lives...just easier to dispatch your assailants if they are sleeping. Someone else is going to kill them instead of us.

"Oh, we are just going to let them get away? Well let's at least take these." Juzo says scooping up their offerings unfortunately knowing the Pathfinder Society would confiscate them.

"How does it look?" he says wearing the headband.

He is more quiet as the ghost is talkative still baffled by the ghost compared to the stories he has been told.

"Well this certainly makes our troubles worth it, no?" he says eyeing their large payment.

After watching the demonic witch, Areelu Vorlesh, attempt to toss her minions around in a foolish attempt to live...Nyctessa sent them right back at her. The fallen templar, the deacon, and a flock of giant eagles descend.

"I can feel the pain of my allies but you couldn't even kill them. What do you hope to do against me and Uliah? Arcane and Divine...your power pales in comparison and sending you back to whence you came is a simple task even here." she cackles as her minions distract the witch.

As she finishes her spell shards of ice burst past her striking the witch in the arms and legs turning into chains covered in bloody rime.

"Stand back, the next spell should be simple enough with the the favor we have been granted by the gods and their games." she calls to Uliah.

Once again friends relinquish your power to me.

As she chants the empowering spell from the Binder's Tome the fabric of reality falters around the bound witch. Her connection to the Abyss was too strong and the banishment took hold ripping her into the hellscape seen beyond the portal.

Outside of comms he sends a message to the crew.

Check the scan to see their most dangerous firing arc. If we pass I still want to be out of as much danger as possible. Show them that fancy new business card, Pip.

"The defender has fallen into their trap and turned against the would be preservers of this knowledge. Defending the cultists while they are free to mill about the sacred land. Sacred?! The Cult of The Devourer...those with no respect for life are traipsing about and you call it sacred?" Zoran speaks up laughing at first but then becoming insulted by the accusation.

Nyctessa knew what was waiting within the tome thanks to her allies so she prepared a...small trick.

She begun to pour her frigid magic into the risen toad demon till it was nearly about to burst but with slivers of her mythic essence it was able to hold just enough to serve her purposes.
"Ramexes, do prepare a circle of hellfire and stand within it. Things are going to be chilly in a moment and I don't want to have to explain why we need to resurrect you."

As she entered the largest burial room of the tomb she was greeted by Isilda who had incantations of her own prepared but with insight gleaned from her experiences was able to unravel it before it could seal away her power.

"You cower in a tomb buried within a wasteland of your failure. You aren't even worth killing myself...one of the grotesque demons I have stolen from you will do." she mocks as the toad hops towards the ghost who shrieks with rage.

As the toad leaps up towards the ghost Nyctessa begins to cackle madly. The moment Isilda tears the demon in two a burst of magic explodes in a bright blue light that pours forth from the tombs. Once the adventurers are able to once again open their eyes they see the area around the blast is encased in a layer of rime and they can see those closer can see their breath crystallize on the air. Back inside the tomb even Nyctessa is frozen from the waist down as she continues her mad laughter at the shocked face of the phantom Isilda. With a snap of her fingers the ice shatters...hopefully ridding the Worldwound of the ghost once and for all.

"Do stay dead or next time I am thinking of using fire magic." she says departing to find her hopefully non-frozen allies.

As with many other features, some are and some are not. Archives of Nethys has a little Wayfinder icon that is denotes if it is (and is usually right). That is another thing you can check in the Additional Resources like how Hawthwile mentioned.

That specific archetype, Pistolero, is definitely legal though as I have one.

Having cornered the Defiled Beast that was hunting them it was time to turn the tables so Nyctessa headed to the Locust Shrine. There she encountered the gruesome beast that reminded her so much of the twisted creations she would form.

"There may be nothing left to bring back when this ends. Come." she calls out holding up her staff that glowed a tepid tepid green that struck out at the beast. As the beam began to drain the beasts power it swung at Nyctessa but the enthralled demoniac tossed himself into the blow.

"Foiled by your own acolytes? Ironic. Nethys grant me a boon!" she called upon her blessings and mythical powers to finish the fight. The sickly green beam pulsed faster and brighter till the blinding light encompassed the fallen angel. The hungering staff filled its dark reservoirs...the fight had finished. She turned away from the collapsed foe and what remained of her minions to rejoin the group.

The tattered spirit grows forth from the small leshy much like before but no longer an apparition instead a physical manifestation in grayscale. The wounds are even more clear and his voice more painful.

"What dreadful mess have you gotten into now? Are you to die as well and join me as a ghost?" he says leading Motueka outside with the others.

Oloch began searching for dyes to use as warpaint and passes over the stall offering enchanted rings. His divine insight gave him advance notice of an undead agent nearby...he quickly put his warhammer to work crushing the opponent in a flurry of bones and decayed flesh.

"Weak undead never put up a fight." he roars as the vendors cheer. He trades some of his goods away while soaking in the glory till the market closes.

"They didn't believe me at first! I didn't believe it at first either...the doll was under the bed at Amenira's house. It's not that I look under every bed but I have a good relationship with the ground when I am too dizzy to walk." Motueka adds the circumstances of where he found the doll.

"I am never looking under a bed again...but still drinking. I have no idea what it is talking about but the question is did the villagers do this or something else? Nira is the shadow a villager? Are they involved?" Motueka says still under the bed more sober than ever before.

He begins muttering to himself and a minute or so later the form of Dauswil appears under the bed as well.

"Does any of this make sense to you?"

"Dauswil, best you stay scarce today. Scaring people is the last thing we need to do right now." Motueka says as Dauswil fades into nothingness.

"During the day it should be safe enough to split up a bit? I think I will head to the Artisan's Square. Curfews are bad for business and business is good for talking...and I need to sample the local brews." he adds in chuckling.

"This place feels, wrong. Even my spirit friend is quiet for once. I wonder where the denizen of this cave is..." Motueka says in a more sobered tone as he eyes the rancid cashew milk curiously...you feel there aren't many things he will not try drinking at least once.

Dausil is quiet for once as he looks at the blood on the altar while holding his own wounds.

Pulling into the docks Motueka looks disgusted at the dense smog cloud covering the city.

"This place does not look welcoming to our kind...or any kind for that matter. Just look at that filthy air. It is going to ruin our tastebuds for at least a week and my hops are going to turn foul." he says with a grumble drinking some of the ship's alcoholic goods before he misses the chance to taste it again.

He tries to gather information at a local bar but his negative attitude towards the town's pollution does him no favors...neither does insulting the drinks offered.

Through Motueka's speech a phantom of a man begins to appear wreathed in negative energy. As his form finishes appearing the man's ghostly flesh is jaundiced and the capillaries of blood are clearly visible but pulse with the same negative energy.

"Sh-drinking is shwat made me like this, little bulb! Don't shhhtart down the samesh road...lookit they did ta me shhtomach." he slurs painful whispers pointing out the deep gash across his traditional Tien Garb with the tankards that never leave his hands.

The next to arrive is a leshy that sways into the sunroom quite possibly already slightly inebriated or perhaps just enjoying life. Either way the wicked scythe tangled with dark roots on his back looks far too sinister for the jovial plant. His own leaves and tangle of roots are bright greens with various berries and hops adorning the sections not covered by leather armor.

He sits down and takes a swig of the liquid.

"Tea? One has to celebrate a new story not relax. Isn't that right Dauswil?" he says looking over his shoulder...where no one is at.

He shakes his head and extends his branches to the others.

"Motueka Moondrinker. Never have I seen such a gathering of our kind! I joined the Pathfinders to try and make this guy stop being such a mope...but this is an exciting addition to the recipe!"

I am still working on finalizing my character sheet for Motueka and Dauswil. So many options with "pet" classes especially this one. Figuring out if I am going to go melee/ranged and what emotional focus for my phantom. Narrowing it down bit by bit.

When going into unknown situations Zoran does his best to blend in spending some time working on his disguise. Ensuring he is up before his cabin mates and heading to whatever room he finds with a lock to take great pain to ensure it is up to snuff.

Disguise (Take 20) for a 27 before boarding and each morning I can. Perception DC27 to see through it.

To most eyes Zoran appears a typical 7 foot tall Kasathan of dark grey skin and eyes blacker than the expanse of space. He dresses in a borderline formal set of black and crimson fatigues that fit his lean frame as if tailored. His stride shows no hint of old age or injury but his cane is always with him.

He spends the days speaking with the crew and travelers about their days spent among the stars. There is genuine interest in their stories but when they speak of misfortunes his tone switches subconsciously to one of pessimism.

Inside his cabin he introduces himself to the others with enthusiasm after Lennny mentions his contact.

"Zoran Turble Hasur Duvahl of House Rokatin. Well, I used to go by that...I prefer just Zoran now. That is unfortunate about your last businesses. Too often people aren't looking in the right direction to help those who need it most...they end up dead or lost. I digress...you were sent here by Duravor too? Must be all of us sharing that room. The dwarf hired me to guide a few trips through more dangerous parts of the Pact Worlds and allowed me to bring along some pilgrims. A good deal. What about you Lenny?"

When the space goblin joins the conversation he smiles a bit now knowing that he wouldn't be the only one taking side-eyes and hushed insults if his disguise ever fails. There is some respect or solace in something that likely knew some of the hardships endured and is clearly taking it in stride.

"It does seem that we are an enterprising bunch. Energetic too. Did you receive the ridiculously vague message as well? Any idea the job we signed up for, Clank?"

Hearing the exchange between the small Skittermander and Android he approaches as the small creature rolls away. He waves not sure if it saw but knew it would visit him soon as well.

"Z45719? Can I take a seat here to rest these old bones?"

He doesn't wait for a response before sitting down and extending a hand to shake before introducing himself.

"A shorter designation may prove helpful."

Rook growls as they speak of the evil and gives Needle a few pieces of chalk. He nervously and quickly helps work through the new treasure they have acquired.

"These tiles and rings will fetch us some decent gold when we return to town. Roughly 5 gold pieces a tile and 10 per ring. Hopefully there are more where this comes from." he says with a wide tusky grin.

As he finishes weighing and valuing the treasure he hears mention of the magical bindi and considers it for a moment.

"I can already see fine in the dark if someone else is interested. I think Forrest would make a terrifying Naga! What do you guys think?" he laughs a bit.

"Oh watch this!" Yoon yells with excitement as she holds out both hands and cinders begin to swirl around her as the sounds of a large crackling fire ring out. Moments later the gout of flames pours out from her outstretched hands over the three enemies.

Use Fan of Flames Infusion to apply Fire Blast damage in a 15 ft. cone hitting three targets in front.

Spending the rest of the trip working on alchemical supplies Rook is relieved to stretch at their destination even if it is a bit more humid than he has endured.

The dry heat of Thuvia does not seem so hellish from here...the last thing I want to do is march through this mess.

After hearing the briefing from the others Danicka approaches with a wand which he gladly accepts but when she asks to give it to Needle as well he waves it off.

"The little beast shouldn't need it. If he gets to uncomfortable he can climb back inside and spare us all from his antics." Rook laughs while tapping his head. Needle replies with an almost sad chirp and throws a chalk stick at his master.

As they prepare to head out he notices the noblemen riding in the canopy and decides that would be much more palatable than walking.

"Baron? I would enjoy hearing more about the equipment you brought along and how it is going to help us bring that trophy home for you. Not only that but as a member of The Exchange this seems like a grand opportunity for the future. Safaris, trade, and more! Shall I accompany you two above so we may discuss?" Rook says with his mercantile smile and dreaming of coins...raining explosions from above and large piles of coin.

Needle stayed quiet for most of the trip but back in their quarters the commotion was far too curious for him to stay put. He flew out into the corridors to see Prickles having a veritable buffet of catsnacks.

The pterosaur flew above the slaughter observing and occasionally drawing on the walls of the area.

After a time he drops the chalk on Prickles head and returns to his master writing on the chalk board on his bunk.

Rook laughs when their "responsibility" is introduced and starts speaking of rules for the hunt.

The only rule is stay out of the blast zone...

He grunts at the thought but replies as the meeting wraps up "We could trade places. I wouldn't mind putting some Alkenstar engineering to use..."

The rest of the night is spent working on the vermin repellent for his allies to the soothing sounds of Danicka attempting to stop the murder of the feline crew. He sends out Needle to distract Prickles and scare Danicka while he is at it.

At dinner Rook takes pleasure in sampling the exotic meats and speaks up when the Count queries their history.

"The Society and The Exchange both have their hands in many pockets. That last escort mission was far less exciting than testing the security of transports and utilizing my arsenal of explosives."

He then turns to their hunter and answers his question with a glint in his eye, "No, I have not been to Jalmeray...but I am sure you will be able to fill us in on the locale and the target of your vengeance. Did you happen to bring any interesting items from Alkenstar for the hunt?"

Much like with the Pathfinder RPG I have a large collection of source books and character decks but my moving with the military has me at odds with finding local groups to play with. When I found PbP for the RPG it was an amazing experience to get back into Pathinder as a player...and I never expected to find games for PACG in the same manner.

I am in three groups that are still going in some fashion and it has been fantastic. I have learned a lot from the players and box runners about the rules. We have had some pretty fantastic roleplaying added to the posts which you don't always get in person from dramatic villain encounters to how players describe their blessings.

Thank you to the hard work of all the players and box runners. They have made this all possible! Also those deck handlers are beautiful!

Oh are we blaming Nigel for what brings us to 2E too? It is always Nigel's fault.

As far as 1E since I just started GM'ing it I plan to keep at it for quite a long time. That and shipping books to Japan will be expensive and I am a sucker for physical copies so that will slow my buy in for 2E.

To the above, iirc, Empower tacks the x1.5 onto the end of the equation. Otherwise you would be stuck at 5 die due to the limits of the spell without Intensified. Plus it would be wonky with odd amount of die.

"Drinking? You sound like the oaf Adril...I have to clean up this mess or at least find...did you kill the workers?" he says nervously worried about the state of the museum more than the fact that he is barely clothed and covered in monkey-finger-painted runes.

He shakes his head and calls out to Uther, "Yes, you should untie me. Please. Thank you for...wow that is a large primate. The zoo needs to hear about this!"

"Formal attire? I already detest this new captain. I will follow your lead, big guy." Rook walking with Yaiho as they look for some clothes to wear. Between the tailor looking to create something large enough and the exotic materials Yaiho was picking out...Rook couldn't help but crack a smile.

When it came time for his own outfit he had a few ideas and so did Needle. Lots of cursing and what sounded like a small explosion took place in the backroom before he came out sporting his custom formal wear.

His well fitting attire includes a deep-red buttoned shirt underneath a vest made from a black python with a silver chain attached to his wayfinder. A pair of silver eye-glasses rest upon his nose and atop is head is a top-hat modified to open from the top for Needle who quickly popped out to assist his master in yelling for the shop keeper.

"HEY! Where is my duster...you said you could make it formal! Do I need to come back there again?" Rook starts to yell as a terrified attendant exits the back room holding a new black duster with silver accouterments. Inside are pockets to store his various reagents inside iron vials without looking out of place.

The idiot tried to tell me a duster with my supplies wouldn't cut it as formal!

He takes a deep bow in front of Yaiho and they head back.

"Let's go Tiger!" he laughs.

A little nervous about the level abilities are earned. Is an alchemist going to feel distinctive at low levels? This is especially concerning when thinking of organized play where we are spending a lot of time without Precise Bombs or Mutagens.

"Did you hear that? It was your only chance of escape being torn away." she cackles as her spell already begins to manifest.

The room's temperature drops to freezing as all the candles are blown out. The power of ascension begins to flow through her according to the bargain and she pays the price by ripping the life essence out of the enthralled Cultist. Then more power washes over her but this time it is freely given by her allies.

"All this power. Yours too will be mine." she says as the power reaches a fever pitch and an ice storm surges over Tancred.

It seems like a large amount of posters are taking this personally, somehow and/or did not read the post before bringing out their pitchforks. Personally this isn't the first ill liked ancestry or ancestry that would not fly in a certain area. I am excited for myself and others that want to play Goblins.
