Welcome to my first PbP game as GM! I look forward to playing with you all. Let's have an awesome time and a super fun game!
Once they get MotFF added to RPGChronicles, I will post the link to sign up there so I can send you your chronicles after the game. But, for now, please post the following info:
Player Name:
Character Name:
PFS ID#:
Faction:
Race & Class:
Day Job:
Special Skills (or anything else about your PC that I should know about).
After filling it out, go ahead and post an introduction in the Gameplay thread.
Each of you have been summoned to meet at the base of the Statue of Durvin Gest inside the grounds of the Grand Lodge of Absalom.

Player Name: David
Character Name: Rahu Moguly
PFS ID: 305033-4
Faction: Grand Lodge
Race & Class: Human Unchained Monk (Perfect Scholar) 1
Day Job Check: N/A
Special Skills: Perfect scholars treat all knowledge skills as class skills. Rahu is a bit of a tomb delver, so he has some skill with disabling traps.

Player Name: miteke
Character Name: Walks with Giants
PFS ID#: 141936-21
Faction: Grand Lodge
Race & Class: Human Shaman
Day Job: quilting: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Special Skills (or anything else about your PC that I should know about). Not much to say at level 1. He does have a brand spanking new wand of infernal healing - oh boy!

GM Roll4initiative |

Still waiting for Grimdog, Agent Eclipse, & Lapyd to fill out above information and jump into gameplay.

Player Name: Agent Eclipse
Character Name: Rokhan Kruhl
PFS ID#: 54329-2
Faction: The Concordance
Race & Class: Half-Orc Sorceror
Day Job: None
Special Skills (or anything else about your PC that I should know about).] Rokhan has the Phoenix bloodline, letting him heal with fire spells if needed but otherwise he is a blaster. Also has a familiar that can speak Ignan due to being an emissary, making him a good scout if needed.

GM Roll4initiative |

Go ahead and add your PC icons onto slide 2 under "Marching Order", please & thank you.

GM Roll4initiative |

Link to maps should be open to everyone now.
Lapyd, yes, you can create your own PC with PFS rules. ;)
Once everyone has posted in Gameplay, I'll begin the adventure.
Edit: Actually, each of you may need to send me an email for permission to edit Slides. I only have a phone and am limited with what I can do on slides, including allowing others access.

Player Name: Lapyd
Character Name: Halle Keb
PFS ID#: 2409655-1
Faction: Scarab Sages
Race & Class: Human (Garundi) Shifter (Feyform Shifter) 1
Day Job: Profession (Tanner): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
Special Skills (or anything else about your PC that I should know about):
She has the whole "fey" theme going on. She has "heart of the fey" as a human that gives her low light vision, and +1 racial to reflex and will. She is a feyform shifter, and for 4 times per day (for a minute, as a swift action) she gains DR 1/cold iron, concealment (20% but can't use for stealth), and darkvision. Her traits give her +1 to saves versus arcane spells, and reduces the penalty of combat expertise by 1 (so she's virtually fighting with combat expertise all the time at this point).

GM Roll4initiative |

What book is the Shifter in? Nevermind. I found it. It's in Ultimate Wilderness. On Archives of Nethys it has restricted access to it which means you might need a boon in order to play it, but I'm not sure.

GM Roll4initiative |

The choices offered in the Core Rulebook are always available, as are ifrit, kitsune, nagaji, oread, sylph, tengu, undine, and wayang, provided you own a copy of the appropriate source book. Other races are available as campaign boons; the Chronicle sheet in which such a boon is available must be the first Chronicle sheet applied to a character.
So, those are the always available races. On Archives of Nethys, you'll notice that the Shifter has a little glyph next to it with a red circle. The glyph means it's allowed in OP, however, the red circle means there is some sort of restriction. In this case, it's only available with a boon.
That's why I always tell new players to just start with a pre-gen or build a PC with the Core Rulebooks (CRB, APG, UM & UC). It's kind of a PITA to check the additional resources, but, once they know what is legal or not for PFS, then they can go ahead and make their own character.

If you mouse over the glyph it tells you what is restricted, the only issue is the custom aspects. Shifter is legal to play.
"Class: The shifter class is legal for play. Only the aspects detailed in this book and allowed by later publications are legal for play; custom aspects are unavailable."
This is from the additional resources for Ultimate Wilderness.

@Grimdog: If you wouldn't mind putting your character's name in your header, it'd be much appreciated.

GM Roll4initiative |

I added the rest of everyone's icon to the marching order slide in random order. You all can discuss or fight about who wants to be in which place. (What a bunch of tough looking adventurers. Yikes! I sure wouldn't want to bump into your group in a back alley.) Lol.
Anyway, feel free to put a border around your icon if you want. Just keep them square. I'm going to use circle borders for my monsters to help differentiate in combat.

GM Roll4initiative |

Got 2 out of 5 players on the first map so far. Once everyone is on the map, we'll get rolling.

So sorry, I got very sick over the weekend. Catching up now and back up to full force.

Sorry to hear. Good to hear you're feeling well now. Take your time.

GM Roll4initiative |

i cant edit the map...can you move me to the front...saves time...
You may have to click on the link that will send me an email to grant you permission to edit the slides.

GM Roll4initiative |

I have no idea what keeps going on with the maps/slides. Once again, I cannot edit them myself. I even had it set to "anyone with link can edit".
I've never had this problem before.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I was able to move my icon, so I seem to be able to edit.
It just doesn't like you :)

I know! Totally hates me. It's suddenly working for me now. Hopefully it stays that way.

GM Roll4initiative |

Oops. I forgot Halle has DR1/cold iron. She took 5 hp dmg from the dogs. Will change it next round or post

GM Roll4initiative |

The link to the sign up sheet and where I can email your chronicles from is >Here!< No rush, of course, since we have until the end of the game.
I don't believe you need an account to fill out the info.

GM Roll4initiative |

Btw, feel free to open any spoilers I make (like initiative). If it says "GM Screen" or "Secret Checks", then don't peek at those. ;)

I assume the terrain is not rough terrain?

GM Roll4initiative |

I assume the terrain is not rough terrain?
It is. As mentioned in the description of the room. It is also dark beyond 5' of the entrance.

GM Roll4initiative |

Regarding the stench aura of troglodytes, it isn't in effect for one that is dead, right? I believe Rokhan and Calderon would only need to make one save for the one troglodyte that's still alive.
I can imagine a troglodyte still stinking after it's dead, much like a dead skunk on the side of the road, but, I couldn't find anything in the rules.

GM Roll4initiative |

Just a "ping" type of post to keep us moving and put Halle in the scene :)
I highly encourage this type of posting. Push Posts.
It's the #1 rule to PbPing!
GM Roll4initiative |

does it get the -4 penalty for firing into melee?
It's included. +4 to hit and -4 for throwing into melee for a straight up 1d20 roll. 18 on the die. :/

This is my first PFS character. I can take credit with her, right? She has an official number and everything. Not sure what else I’d need.

![]() |

I am very much willing to continue playing with Halle if she can be in any of those scenarios!

GM Roll4initiative |

This is my first PFS character. I can take credit with her, right? She has an official number and everything. Not sure what else I’d need.
Yep! You definitely get credit for her. That's pretty much all you need. And, if you don't like her build or want to change anything (as long as it's PFS legal) you can freely change things, except the use of any consumables used, until you hit 2nd level. Then, that PC is locked in as-is at 2nd level. You can use the retraining rules and boons or whatever later on to change things too.
Btw, After this game I plan to GM an introduction to Pathfinder Society scenario, The Confirmation. Then I plan to GM the other two intros after that. Any of you are welcome to join & I will even hold a spot for any of you before any others wish to join.
After all of those, I should feel confident enough to GM higher level stuff. ;)
