Willow’s sling-stone lodges in Green Gills’ left eye socket, like a mother’s warning ignored.
(Un)fortunately, this thrown stone doesn’t do the zombie any damage.
Even with the penalties for soft cover and firing into melee, Sombra’s ray ruptures Uori’s noggin again, causing a sticky straw-colored fluid to begin leaking from the zombie’s ears, nostrils and mouth.
This gooey spectacle doesn’t last long, as Alim caves in the ex-gillfolk oracle’s face with his morning star, dropping the undead menace to the dirt.
The Investigator then takes a *squicky* step into Uori’s liquefacting guts.
💀
Ripper twists Green Gills’ head off at the neck in a vicious attack. However, the zombie remains in the fight with its one good arm (and both legs!)
Dizzy attempts to help Ripper with a stinging leather-plaited SLAP to Green’s headless torso.

Willow’s sling-stone flies into the open mouth of the zombie, down its gullet to *plop* harmlessly from the undead’s ruptured stomach onto the ground, like a freshly laid egg.
Xabala can keep her powdered chilli dry, as Alim and Sombra persevere to put the Red-eyed Biter out of the Pathfinders’ misery.

Among the numerous fallen bodies, you find a blood-splattered note written in Taldane that details plans to start an army of undead made from “fish people” who have been frequenting this cave.
In addition, you discover a beautifully crafted longsword, and an enchanted light crossbow.
In the eastern wall, Xabala finds a number of right-angled gaps from where she heard Janira Gavix’s oration. A little pulling, pushing and twisting reveals the gaps surround a secret door that opens onto another tunnel sloping upwards.

"Oh geeze...maybe we should've come down here first," Willow laments as she gazes around at all the carnage. "Poor Uori! I guess they got the drop on him..." she remarks sadly as she goes to retrieve her short sword.
"But Xabala, you said you heard Janira close by? We'd better go help her - I mean, we need to patch up quick but then we need to go help her! Then maybe we can come back and bury Uori and these other zombies."

"I don't know if this will ease your mind Willow but that note we've found indicates Uori would have been in trouble if we had stopped the zombies first. None of the zombies wrote that note and I suspect their is something evil about this cave. How did Uori become a zombie so quickly? What is sending that odd image of Janira into our minds? The evidence suggests the nature of this place is not benevolent as Uori said; it is malevolent. All of this can be debated later. Willow is correct we need to heal up, prepare ourselves, and assist Janira."

Please take stock of what spells and items we all have. As a reminder from earlier we had these items from Janira's bag:
potion of barkskin
potion of cure light wounds
potion of feather step
potion of vanish
scroll of entangle
scroll of gust of wind
scroll of identify
scroll of mage armor (CL 6)
scroll of obscuring mist
wand of burning Hands (CL 3rd, 4 charges)
wand of cure light wounds (CL 3rd, 7 charges)
acid flask
alchemist’s fire x2
holy water
smoke stick
tanglefoot bag
thunderstone
If Xabala didn't take the scroll of entangle she should now. If someone has an armor whose bonus is less than +4, the mage armor scroll will help you. Sombra has the burning hands wand. If we really want to know what the crossbow is, Sombra can use the scroll of identify on it. The alchemist's fire and acid flask should be given to those who prefer ranged combat and with the highest ranged attack bonus.

Willow should probably take at least one of the Alchemist's Fire flasks since she has a +3 from Dex and +1 from size to throw one. :)

Since Willow is okay with the party using her Wand of CLW, we should use that to heal up Xabala and Malist and then 1 charge from Janira's Wand of CMW to get Ripper up and maybe a charge from the CLW to top him off. If anyone wants to do hour/level or, when we get closer, minute/level buffs we should get those posted for the GM.

Knowing that time is of the essence you all race up the remainder of the tunnel as quickly as you can.
As you close the distance with the tunnel's exit, the sound of Janira's voice grows stronger and louder - a welcome sound indeed. But just before you reach the light at the end of the tunnel, the air is split by a bone-shaking roar – THE MINOTAUR!
As you all stumble out of the tunnel and into the light of the full moon, you realize you've been underground for a long time.
Sombra’s mage armor has expired, but there is time for one round of pre-buffs before you exit the tunnel into the moonlight.
The moon's light illuminates a stream, the water's flow hastened by runoff from a recent storm further up in the Kortos Mounts. A small log seems to have lodged itself across the stream, providing a path across, albeit a tricky one. Just to the left, you can also see a path leading up to a ledge that sits nearly level with the forest canopy.
Yet another roar splits the night air and across the stream you see Janira and the minotaur - both looking worse for the wear. The minotaur's mighty battleaxe looks to be broken and Janira seems on the verge of exhaustion. Still, her voice rings out in reply to the minotaur's roar.
"You vile beast! I know not what drives your black heart, but I shall not fail in my duty. I shall see you driven from this forest, back to the hills from whence you came!"

Willow hustles to keep pace with the others.
The minotaur isn't a fool. She’s quick to step forward and take a swing at Janira with her broken axe.
Minotaur vs. Janira (Battleaxe; Broken): 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (16) + 7 - 2 = 21
slashing damage: 2d6 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (4, 4) + 4 - 2 = 10
The halfling falls, her tanglefoot bag rolling from her hand as she hits the turf.
"Tevi sasita, mazais tārpiņ!"
The horned humanoid turns to face you, *SNORTS* and paws the golarion.
Round #2:
Environmental Conditions: Dim Light (20% miss chance for those without darkvision), Light Undergrowth (Green Squares = Difficult Terrain)
