The PCs are involved with unifying Chondath once again. Starting with Arrabar, and on to convincing the other city states: either through Diplomacy or War. Takes place in 1369 DR.

"What? Undead walking around in broad daylight?!" Lizbit is shocked by this encounter. Surely someone must be employed to stop the undead from walking the cemetery? "What if there was a grieving family here?!" She calls upon the blessing of Sune and commands Handsome to stay by her side. "Stay close to me, everyone! I'll protect you."

Cast Bless on everyone. Move closer, ready to fight, with Handsome at her side.

He then moves to the front of the group, ready to meet the soon to be attacking undead.

Lizbit doesn't have the Turn Undead Feat, Maia is a Shifter, and Angoldil appears to have been off the boards for weeks now, I'd say this combat is ready to go as is.

Igneous grimaces as his shot misses, he drops his bow and draws his mace, swinging at the Ghoul that's closest to him.

Calling on his innate powers, Ruhk causes his weapon to be imbued with arcane might.

He then moves to attack the same ghoul as Igenous, reasoning that it's best ot focus attention.

AoO works nicely, Your attacks hit the ghoul. "Unnnhhh!" is all it could say.

Anton's Shuriken was enough to damage the Undead. Ruhk's strike hits home, and Igneous' strike managed to bring down one ghoul. There are two ghouls left. The dead strike back!

The two ghouls strike at Handsome and at Igneous.
Ghoul strike at Handsome: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21; Damage if hits: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 Have handsome make a Reflex Save at DC 13 to avoid being paralyzed.

Ghoul claws strikes at Igneous: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20; damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6 Igneous, if they strike, make a Ref Save at DC 13 to avoid being paralyzed.

The claw strike the Dwarf and he feels an extreme pain in his arm, he manages to pull way before... something... worse can happen!

Igneous Reflex Save DC 13 - 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14.

Igneous strikes back at the one that clawed his arm!

Heavy Mace - 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Damage - 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Though his strike is a bit weaker than he would have liked.

Anton shifts swiftly from a throw to a dancers stance. Using his finely honed body he throws a right hook to send his Cestus covered hand at the savage Ghoul.

MY turn.

One of the ghouls is down, but not out (the one attacked by Ruhk and Anton!) It's crawling on the ground. Also, the Ghoul that attacked Handsome is up. He attacks Igneous again!

Ghoul claws strikes at Igneous: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6; damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6; Igneous, if they strike, make a Ref Save at DC 13 to avoid being paralyzed.

Okay, my turn!

Anton's black's strike was, indeed, true! The ghoul now has a shuriken stuck in it, and is still moving.

Igneous' strike also hits and dismembers the ghoul. The two ghouls can strike with their hands. Both the undead are down and at your mercy, though.

Igneous nods and grins ever so slightly, "That went well, could have gone badly. These Ghouls are dangerous..." He frowns at teh downed Handsome, "Let's hope Handsome recovers quickly and we can keep moving".

DM, as we lost 2 PCs should we just bot them collectively to finish this scenario and then part with them back at town or just have them fade out and continue? I don't want to walk into an encounter built for 6 pcs with only 4 especially where we lost a Wizard...

Ruhk begins to wipe his axe clean, occasionally glancing down at the slain ghouls.
"Odious creatures...
If nothing else, we've already done a good deed today.
Isn't that what they say, "one good deed a day, keeps the lightning bolts away"?
I certainly never been struck by a lightning bolt on a day i did a good deed."

Handsome is definitely paralyzed. Something a healing spell could cure. (lots of options, including Restoration)

We will just have them fade out. Apparently, they don't have the time to play.


Glendal starts giggling at the victorious group. "Very noisy you bunch." He giggles again.

You see a small gnome who is dressed in formal attire which is fit for a coronation. He rides a serpent as a mount. The serpent has bulging eyes each on a flexible stock. It's skin subtlety changes color to match the world around it. A goat that travels in a pouch that hangs to one side. The goat seems well trained and relaxed for the ride.

The serpent slides along the cemetery's wall.

"So sorry that I missed the fight." He giggles again. "Evil escaped my punishment through they're death. I,
Glendal Knobstomper, will find you again."

The serpent understands it's master and slides to the group. "Stroke my ear fur and call be slappy. Hidey Ho undead slayers."

Igneous raises an eyebrow, "Well met Glendal Knobstomper. Do you regularly patrol this site or are you simply out looking to rid the locale of threats such as these?"


The snake curls. "Evil hides. I root it out." He says. From a series small fins, Glendal stands. "Root. Root. Root." The spell-thrower speaks with glee.

The fin seat suggested the snake was not really living but more a projection of the caster. The summoner walks nimbly down the serpent's spine. "Names. What are your names, dear boy?" The eidolon's long tail loosens while maneuvering the walking gnome. In a regal fashion, Glen is presented to Igneous Slag by the snake's tail end.

Anton at the break will take up his shurikens and laughs.

"I am the life of the party! They gather for my tricks and humor!" he says as he begins to juggle his used Shurikens.

"Name is Anton Black, Mummer of Lliira. Pleasure to entertain"He says with a smile before he slips the Shurikens back into special places.


Glendal falls backwards, while laughing. He sits hard onto his snake's tail. The snake instinctively changes Glen's dropping butt from impact to glide. He claps his hands rapidly. Delight beams from his eyes. "Juggle more." He laughs with joy. "Juggle more."

" A fan I see. But this is not the place to busk.Let us continue our lovely nights" He says as he slips the shurikens back into the right place.


"Ahhh." complains the summoner at the entertainment's end. He pulls his pack off of his mount and drops it to the ground. With some effort (and the snake's assistance), Glen grabs the sack containing the goat. The goat's four legs protrude out of four tailored holes in that sack. His little legs run in mid air as the goat searches for solid ground.

Once the goat is removed, Glen stores the sack in his backpack. The summoner leashes the goat and dismisses his snake. "I hope you guys don't mind me calling creatures for your next fight. Boo Ya!"

You see the crypt before you. The door isn't open, and it could be locked. It's a large, rectangular building. It's built of granite stones, with mortar to hold them in place. The outside of the building looks polished. On top of the crypt is a statue of a knight on a horse.

"We could have a great one in the making!" Anton chuckles as he slips his shuriken back into places.

"I don't know about that, if you tell a ghost story that happened to you, I kind of takes a lot of the tension out of it, no?
