Seems the princess is joining in, so she likely sees the games being played. But it would be good to see where her head is at, as princess's tend not to go into danger. But then again she is for the people.

"This day does seem to get more interesting as it goes on" she smirks as rubs the star with a thumb

The sheriff each gives you a bronze star, signifying your deputies under his law for a limited time.
"Shiney" she smirks as she pins it to her chest "Let's get this Shindig going, shall we?"

"It's not like joining the army," he says. "But you are expected to be valiant."
Alkaid joins in though is aiming to be cautious and alert while doing so.
"I can be a helper in trying to ensure we don't lose anyone during the hunt for those Orcs"
The sheriff nods. He then gives you a stipend of thirty gold. "Use this to get your gear ready," the Sheriff said.
"We should probably get some trail food. It's harder to stay hidden when you have to forage."

"That too, but I'd ask to get at least one extra quiver of arrows, on a long excursion one tends to run out of those" she adds as a suggestion
