The PCs are involved with unifying Chondath once again. Starting with Arrabar, and on to convincing the other city states: either through Diplomacy or War. Takes place in 1369 DR.

Yes, it is. One of the Wizard King's edicts. If I remember from the Vilhon Reach sourcebook, Arrabar's government is lawful evil. So I'm basing parts of it off of First Republic France. I think Nazi Germany would also be a good choice, but I don't see the Wizard as having the presence and charisma of Adolf Hitler.

Paperwork just to walk about is so terribly opressive. Suddenly Lizbit is slightly more on the side of their somewhat mysterious benefactor. Being a noble lady she, naturally, has all her papers in order, stupid as it is.

Maia begrudgingly pulls her slightly tattered papers from her pocket in preparation for the inspection. While Igneous chats up the guard she leans over to Angoldil and whispers, "were we supposed to get paperwork from our employer to leave?"

I've never actually left the city before... I can't believe they make everyone do this though... no wonder this noble guy wants to take over... of course, who knows if he'd be any better- maybe he just wants to be the one in charge... I guess if the city's gonna be in the hands of a tyrant it's better to have it be one you know and who maybe even owes you a favor...

Figured as a Temple/Caravan Guard for Lliira and Waukeen, he would have some papers for that as well as for Busking/Preaching due to his religion.

Street preaching is very popular in this city. Although they hate wizards for some reason. It's ironic that their leader is a Wizard.

Heh, THIS is a sign of civilisation isn't it just? And it will get better, because I believe we'll have to get MORE papers later on.
An official charter for our group, should we stick together... taxation papers for our adventuring loot..., hopefully we won't have to show THOSE to ever Tom, dick and Harry who asks...

Nearly lost in his contemplations, Ruhk is eventually shaken into action and shows his own papers as well.

I have to do something about that, my headspace might be very large, but there is an even larger world out there to enjoy!

Igneous checks out the map once they exit the city. As he has been outside the city in this general vicinity he gets his bearings and tries to decide the best way to get to their destination while avoiding any naturally difficult terrain.

Perhaps you can make contact with him, see if he has seen any danger from the direction we're headed?" Igneous points out the elf he has spotted.

"And I have my right to preach and right to busker papers." he says with a chuckle as he spins the throwing spike then slips it back into one of the shield back holster. he pulls another one, this one in a cross shape.

It takes you a while to reach the graveyard. There are a few mausoleums or crypts, but mostly gravestones are around. They are all granite stones, some of them are worn, others are not.

The gate is open, and in Chondathian (or common) is the title: Arrabar Cemetery.

You see some movement out of the corner of your eye. You're not sure what it is. A phantom, one of the undead, or something else. You did notice a shovel.
