Jakoby is a Tracker, Monster Hunter, and Switch-Hitter.
➤ Jakoby will attempt, when possible, to Track every creature she encounters, having a few class abilities that interact with her having successfully done so, including Hunt Prey and Swift Tracker - the latter enabling her a free Stride on her first turn when rolling Survival for initiative against her prey!
➤ When using her Monster Hunter class feat - granting a free action Recall Knowledge check against her prey - in conjunction with her Master Monster Hunter class feat - which let's her use her Master Nature skill to identify any creature(!) and grant a +1 circumstance bonus to her allies' next attack (!!) - if Jakoby has any remaining Hero Points, she will typically use one to avert critical failure, so as to prevent the possibility of acting upon erroneous information
➤ Jakoby has Assurance with her Master Proficiency in the Nature skill, and when rolling for Monster Hunter against multiple same-type foes, will typically use it to assure her result (currently "26"). Against an individual creature, she would typically prefer to roll, using the same precaution for Hero Points (to avert critical failure) as above.
➤ Aware of the strengths and limitations of her primary weapon - her longbow (with the Volley trait which imposes a -2 penalty to Strikes within 30 feet) - while exploring, she will typically carry it when she is in an more spacious outdoors setting, and typically stow it and instead draw her katana when she is in a less spacious indoors setting.
➤ A bit of a dedicated switch-hitter, if Jakoby finds herself amongst a party that lacks a dedicated front-line combatant, and if at least one of the other members volunteers to support her in doing so, she can play that role for the duration of the adventure, and will always carry her katana as her default weapon.
Looking forward to this game with you all. This is my only high-level character without a GM credit, and I have waited a long time to play her at level 10, which was my plan from the get go, the first time I played #1-01 at Gencon 2019!
In a pinch, Jakoby will use her boon-purchased Retrieval Belt to cast a reactive Breath of Life provision scroll upon a worthy fallen ally!
Finally, I am a 3-Glypg GM - granted to the next three PCs to post intros!

I've also GMed this adventure, never played. Also sorted my character out ahead of time to avoid issues, I know I was slacking with recordkeeping last time, but think I'm good now. Finally think I am getting the hang of playing on the forums. Checked purchases and think I'm good for now, but will post again in the unlikely case I update. Extremely unlikely I play this VTT between now and 2 March.
I have a martial, so no issues with resetting spells.
I have mentor boons, in case we have a L7 amongst us.
Virava is a run-of-the-mill thief/sneaky/pickpocketing leshy rogue. Strictly frontline, will attempt to flank as much as possible.
5 glyphs as well.

Hey folks!
Looking forward to our game! I attached the RPG Chronicles and Slides for the game, if you wouldn't mind filling them out.
If everyone has your AC, Saves, Perception, and Skills in your profile, I don't feel the need for macros. (Just my style.)
Anything abilities I should know about? (Automatic checks? Etc.)

Sylvia Dyspell |

Sylvia has Dubious Knowledge and Unmistakable Lore.
plan to add notes when I know I'm making appropriate checks but can be helpful to know in advance.

Yes, thanks in advance for giving our high-level characters the chance to air their tedious narrative-slowing capabilities!
I put my “GM Meta” upthread: HERE
Will get to the rpg chron shortly…
Edit: Wait, and skills!? I need a moment to reorganize!
Double Edit:
If everyone has your AC, Saves, Perception, and Skills in your profile, I don't feel the need for macros. (Just my style.)

Nina casts lucky number, four life links, and a vital beacan during daily preparations. Her starting spell slots reflect this.
I will try to find a way to get skills into Nina's header. It's very crowded.
Edit: Also, I have three glyphs, but I think we're plenty, lol.

GM MattMorris |

Skills in the profile is fine. No need to have them in the header!

My apologies. I was just blindly following rainzax. heh.

Sorry for the delay, y'all! For some reason I had it in my mind that today was the kickoff. I'll get us started when I get home this evening.

Special attacks?

Looking forward to being kicked out of the place because we are rolling terribly on these skill checks. is there a "break in and do the mission anyway" backup plan?

I'm not sure how many Hero Points are needed. That 29 might be a Success, even on a nat 6. Actually, if the 29 isn't a Success, then Nina probably shouldn't have attempted Society +13, because she would have failed on a nat 16.

Sorry folks. Crazy day at work yesterday. I'll kick off this combat today.

I forgot to explain this at the beginning of the scenario, but Nina casts a bunch of daily spells during her daily preparations.
2nd rank: Lucky Number, allowing her to change the outcome of a roll as a reaction.
3rd rank (all 4 slots): Life Connection, allowing her to take damage from someone as a reaction. She can cast this 4 times (so one party member wouldn't get it, unless it's deemed important enough to use one of her 4th rank slots to prepare it a 5th time).
5th rank: Vital Beacon (heightened 5th)
To be honest, I forgot to bring it up (this is my first time playing post-Remaster), so I'm not asking to retcon anything except Vital Beacon, which doesn't affect anyone else. But for the next day, I'd like to roll for Lucky Number and have the team decide who doesn't get Life Connection.
