As for the sanity rules, I believe we made two checks so far. On now and one when the good doctor in the cellar showed us their true colours.

If you want to be a Zuthite you can take your roll. And yes, I believe you only rolled checks for the first doppelganger and these undead. The zoog was not so alien that I felt it needed a check.

Oh, Enoch, I'm pretty sure you're supposed to use the actual point value of your scores when calculating your sanity, and not the bonuses. Otherwise it'd be possible to have 0 sanity from the start and slide into catatonia.

It's a skill used to identify creatures, so yeah not a background skill. The only exception is Kn. Engineering, and that only woulf ever come up in Iron Gods. Robots.

I think Ethyl should probably get the knife, although Alvar would happily take any spares she has. They're (marginally) better at knife-throwing than at bonking with their staff. That said, I think anyone who's likely to get into melee should probably have higher priority than them

I'm about to switch to natural attacks. So the dagger won't always get used but it would be a nice back up weapon if I need to punch through DR of 10/magical.
