o/ Hello everyone! Name's Gozu, he/him, I'm in gmt+2 timezone wise, I'm new to Pathfinder 2e and PBP but I've read the rules pretty thoroughly and (hopefully, usually) learn very quick. I've got a IRL game coming up so I'm double dipping like this out of both excitement and to learn a little by observing and playing here.
My character will be Aglippa Strikeiron, a dwarf champion (unaligned) of Gorum. While she still follows his dogma, thinking highly of fair combat and generally being a bruise first talk never type, although not to a zealous degree- if there's a diplomatic solution to be had, she will likely let the others handle it while just sitting back and sharpening her sword in preparation for when negotiations fall through... She actually worships Gorum more through his weapons and armor aspect.
She's a blacksmith whose main goal is to either forge or find a 'Godblade', a greatsword truly worthy of Gorum. And where best to search for materials to forge it (or to just find it laying around somewhere) but Numeria, land of strange technology. She's arrived in Torch to start her search, making for a natural spot to bump into the party and join up with them for her agenda.
She's curt and short-spoken, more out of awkwardness (and acknowledging it) instead of rudeness. I'd classify her as a lawful neutral type who doesn't much like rocking the boat- she just wants to get her duty done and move onto the next.
I will deep dive on Aglippa's build over the weekend, and send you any questions I have.

I did get to look closely at Aglippa's build. I don't have any real concerns just a few things to point out for clarity.
1) She has 0.4gp left after equipment purchase per my calculation. The group really hasn't found much treasure so far, but they have about 2gp more than starting on average. You can add that if you wish, but LMK what your starting gp number is.
2) You have the greataxe, but no other weapon. dwarves do get a free clan dagger as an ancestry benefit, but no ranged weapons right?
3) I didn't see it anywhere on Pathbuilder, but I assumed Torag was the deity you chose given the dwarven ancestry, the crafting background, and the abilities you chose. LMK if that's not right.
Otherwise welcome to the mix. We will see where we can slot you into the action. I may have you "inside" the cave system already if there isn't a natural break otherwise.

I'll add the 2 GP to match everyone else. I think I accidentally adeed a greataxe instead of greatsword, it should be a greatsword. I'll take a clan dagger too, but no ranged weapons yeah.
Her deity is actually Gorum, since it's quite important for her backstory and goal.
Noted these changes. Thanks

Admininster First Aid probably should have been used on me before Treat Wounds was. Dr. Evil could have had me making Recovery checks for 10 minutes if he had chosen to. I'm glad he didn't, and I do appreciate the Treat Wounds, but if he had I wouldn't have complained.
Also, I wanted to bring up Administer First Aid as it can be used in combat as well as out of it, so it's something nice to make people aware of.

Welcome! As Karina's nametag states, she's known as a Bard around Torch, not a Witch. Telling people you work for Baba Yaga is not a good idea outside of Irrisen.

Per the text, PCs should be level 2 when they get to this point. While I have been counting XPs and you are not really there, we will go ahead and move you to Level 2 now in order to better face the challenges ahead.
Go ahead and level up your PC. Let me know the changes you've made, and make sure to update your profile and the header.

I'm stuck at work on a Saturday with absolutely nothing to do so, went and leveled up Alpha already lol.
He gets Battle Medicine, and class feat is Domain Initiate (Earth). Gives him a second focus point where he can throw a magic rock to hurt and push foes.

Alpha looks good to go on Level 2. The Earth Domain is technically not allowed for a Brigh follower, but I figured its your second domain, and you are underground (sort of) and let it slide.

Oh I was just going off of Archives of Nethys, I don't mind swapping, honestly was just trying to diversify the build a bit so he can lend more in combat occasionally and thought it thematic being underground lol

I was going to ask for Inventor Archetype to give me something to do with a buddy on the third action... but with the Remaster changing how Spirit Object works, I don't think that's necessary?! I think Cackle would work? I wouldn't be casting Spirit Object that turn, I'd merely be sustaining it.
Also, am I good to update to the revised version of the Baba Yaga Witch, now that we've leveled up? Also, quick question, is there going to be some analogue to the Technologist feat? I don't want things to suddenly just... not work and not have a way around it.
Anyways:
Witch Feat - Cackle

We could create a custom feat that is analogous to Technologist if you want. Use the same benefit if you want - you get the Trained benefit for any skill check to use Technology.
would make this available to the others also, if they wish to change out.
And yes, you can revise to BY Witch now also.
It appears you can add 2 spells to your familiar and prepare an additional for each day as well. LMK what you choose.

Yeah I would probably also take technologist, though not yet at 2. Maybe 3 or 4 though.
Was planning on going magical crafting at 3 but I could do "Technologist" at 3 then magical crafting at 4. Karinna was going the magical crafting route, then I'd swerve.

Oh, right. Concordant Choir and Soothe, with Soothe being the prepared one for a bit more party healing. And if it's a skill feat, I'm going with Technologist for Skill Feat then. SF2e weapons are out so you can have some fun with them now :)

Sorry for the delay in leveling. I really went back and forth with what I wanted to do, but it is done now.
For the skill feat, I took the ever-useful Cat Fall.
For class feat, I did not really like any of them for my build. The only crossbow one is a 2 action shot that gives +2 to hit and ignores cover for the target, but I think that's pretty action-limiting.
I ended up going with Scout Dedication. It does not add to any skills. Instead, it lets me Avoid Notice and Scout at the same time in exploration and gives the group a +2 on initiative when I scout, as well as lets me roll Stealth for initiative because of Avoid Notice, and that will be my default exploration mode.

This looks good to me. You'll have to remind me about the initiative bonus for Scouting when combats pop up. And to use Stealth when applicable.
