Well mindspike grenades are cool :)

Interesting note to keep in mind though: the affected creatures attempt either a Will save or a Reflex save against the grenade's effects (it's a 'can' element of the grenade, not a required replacement).

Not relevant here as despite being 'operative-esque' as you've seen their Will is actually higher than their Reflexes, but something to note for the future.

Should the successful Evade maneouver have negated the collision hazard for us? That's how I understood the slides

You did Evade the hazard in the city center zone as you passed through.

However the Construction Zone has a separate attack on things moving through it. And even with that Evade also raising your AC, it still connected.

Why did their ship only take 8 damage from my shot? That feels low for the critical hit, are vehicles immune to crits?
