Dotting for interest and dropping a questionnaire, will work on a character when I get up tomorrow. Thinking of a Dawnflower Dervish Bard or Whirling Dervish Swashbuckler with the Eager Performer campaign trait.

Possibly using this as character ref?

Player Questionnaire -
1. What time zone are you in?: EST but I'm a bit of a night-owl
2. How long have you been playing TTRPGs?: For most of my 33 (soon to be 34) years of life. Started with BECMI, Hero Quest, and Dragon Strike with my parents as a kid and have kinda been stuck-in ever since.
3. What's your favorite part about playing TTRPGs?: Hard to really choose because there's a lot I enjoy about the hobby, but probably the collaborative story-telling aspect (even with these pre-written adventure paths no two runs are the same thanks to each having a different cast of PCs with different mindsets behind them).
4. What do you expect from this game?: Just a fun old-school PF adventure.
5. What do you expect out of your fellow players?: Just a willingness to work as a team and to maturely communicate when conflict arises.
6. What do you expect out of me?: Mostly just seeing this through to the end, really.
7. Beyond the obvious (generally stuff already prohibited by Paizo's forum rules,) what are your redlines? Are there any topics, themes, or imagery that you absolutely do not want to see in the game?: Besides stuff already covered by the site rules, I can't really think of anything.

Hmmm, this is potentially really interesting to me - on the one hand, your style and priorities as a DM seem right up my alley, you're allowing all my favorite races, and most of the additional systems/houserules are ones I really like playing with. But on the other hand, I'm also in the 2e RotRL campaign OSW mentioned having started recently.

So I guess before I get too excited about character concepts, I know you've said some prior knowledge isn't disqualifying, but would that be? I'd like to think that two different groups, two different systems, and playing characters with different enough means of problem-solving would keep things fresh and without too much information bleed, but I totally get if you'd just rather not do it, or if the answer would be "sure, but distinct preference given to people not currently playing."

Player Questionnaire

1. What time zone are you in?
West Europe, GMT +1

2. How long have you been playing TTRPGs?
I started playing at the paizo boards back in 2013.

3. What's your favorite part about playing TTRPGs?
RP mostly, but wiping the floor with monsters and unsavory individuals (combat) is a good part in it.

4. What do you expect from this game?
Fun.

5. What do you expect out of your fellow players?
Respect for another, and fun interaction.

6. What do you expect out of me?
To be a fair GM, plain and simple.

7. (If you don't want this to be public, PM me the answer to this one and just note that you did so.) Beyond the obvious (generally stuff already prohibited by Paizo's forum rules,) what are your redlines? Are there any topics, themes, or imagery that you absolutely do not want to see in the game?

The site covers it generally.

That said, i am considering a sylph cleric or druid.
-------------------------------
RP examples:
Mia the witch, uses rules and logic against a Chelaxian guard who wants to arrest them.

Edward Irmington the bard, unique CDG against a pirate who swears eternal vengeance against the crew in S&S.

Lilly the oracle's alter ego waking up.

Seconded; you've just unlocked a new fear.

Sorry for scaring you! Unfortunately I have found it better in the long run to speak openly about such issues.

In other news, I have slightly updated Dare's character sheet with some additional gear updates and some proofreading. Nothing dramatic, just personalizing the gear with stuff like a pack of cards and some food and for some reason I forgot to give her the requisite low-level adventurer's emergency backup dagger.

I like giving my PCs a hobby. Card playing seems appropriate for a low-level Sczarni associate.

First, thanks for being open about already being in a RotRL game.

Second, I'm alright with people already in a RotRL game applying to this one. It will be a consideration if it comes down to it, but as I've said before, I tend to be a story-focused GM, so interesting characters win me over rather than interesting builds.

Oh! I totally missed the RP examples part for the application. I've added some to the character profile now.

I expect I'll be able to finish the background today or tomorrow depending on site outages.

A bit under the weather today, I'll get more work done in the next couple of days (hopefully).

CS updated with history, description and equipment. I thought the board was going to be down today. Glad it wasn't so I could post the update.

Hey Ythiel/Tarjun! Good times!

I’m also surprised the boards are still up. Either the maintenance is getting done tonight or they were done with it quicker than anticipated.

I added a bit more to Ano’s backstory-pretty much just how she started to learn how to summon her bloodrage, as well as how she came across her rapier.

Looks like it was done faster than expected. I got a timeout error earlier today.

Grand Lodge

1. What time zone are you in? Central Standard Time

2. How long have you been playing TTRPGs? Started with 2e DnD in 96 maybe 95 been playing ever since

3. What's your favorite part about playing TTRPGs?
Twell I love the uncertainty, the exploration and general tp. All fun.

4. What do you expect from this game?
Well I expect a fun experience for everyone. And most inportantly an end.

5. What do you expect out of your fellow players?
Engaging rp and the ability have fun together

6. What do you expect out of me?
A fun wxperience.

7. (If you don't want this to be public, PM me the answer to this one and just note that you did so.) Beyond the obvious (generally stuff already prohibited by Paizo's forum rules,) what are your redlines? Are there any topics, themes, or imagery that you absolutely do not want to see in the game?
Usually none. I mean its entertainment sometimes you are scared, revolted, disgusted, halpy, defeated ectera.

I also expected it to be out for most of the day/evening. I trimmed down his equipment (OUCH!), added his 3rd trait, took a different feat (I don't know how the h*** I forgot Power Attack has a +1 BAB requirement; maybe that's why he didn't get picked for Ironfang?), and changed the snippet of his backstory.

Survey Says!:

1. What time zone are you in?
U.S. Central Timezone

2. How long have you been playing TTRPGs?
Not to shock anyone but it will be 42 years this summer.

3. What's your favorite part about playing TTRPGs?
The strategy aspect, looking at the map and trying to envision how the battle will unfold.

4. What do you expect from this game?
Fun. That's the whole point of playing games so if you aren't having fun, why bother?

5. What do you expect out of your fellow players?
Honesty, respect, teamwork, sharing resources, and patience.

6. What do you expect out of me?
That you will only roll 1s to hit us and grant us all huge bonuses to hit everything! Seriously to be a fair, honest, fun, and impartial 'judge' for the game. I've sat at too many tables where the DM/GM viewed is as them vs. the players. I think that's 100% the wrong attitude to take towards running a game.

7. (If you don't want this to be public, PM me the answer to this one and just note that you did so.) Beyond the obvious (generally stuff already prohibited by Paizo's forum rules,) what are your redlines? Are there any topics, themes, or imagery that you absolutely do not want to see in the game?
I might be different but I really don't have any. I think the news often contains more of a shocking horror element than movies, games, etc. NPCs might swear at PCs, taunt them, etc. I suppose being needlessly cruel, demeaning, and rude to players/PCs but that's more common sense than a redline.

I present OjWoj "Scrapeknee" Viskalai, Shoanti Oracle of the Heavens Mystery (With Stargazer Archetype). Just check his profile, if there is anything I've missed let me know but it should have history, personality ,and so on in spoilers there (to save space, no nefarious intention).
He's the nephew of Sheriff Balor and Garridan Viskalai, with his mother having passed on and he was raised mostly by the latter.

As for the PLAYER questionnaire, answers for that are below

Player questionnaire:

1. What time zone are you in?
Eastern United States Time Zone

2. How long have you been playing TTRPGs?
Many decades in one form or another with a infrequent gaps.

3. What’s your favorite part about playing TTRPGs?
A good story where everyone leaves their mark. I really like it if the PCs make a change (hopefully a positive one) on the setting by their actions.

4. What do you expect from this game?
I'm hoping it will be fun. ;) I also rarely get to play oracles so I'm hoping to kick the tires so to speak on this class

5. What do you expect out of your fellow players?
Hopefully a lot of fun interactions, and some mutual courtesy with a dash of communication between players as needed. To be fair, these boards are pretty good for that.

6. What do you expect out of me?
Pretty much trust you to continue in the vein of what I've seen you do before.. You answer questions, you're patient with those moments I miss a clue. See above about getting a chance to make a difference in the setting if possible.

7. Redlines?
I think the rules of the forum already have any redlines I'd have covered mostly. I do think somethings don't need EXPLICIT detail (Torture, sexual violence, etc) but again I think that's already Paizo's rules.

As for RP samples, well, recently, there was This scene where a tifeling wizard is introduced

And, I played a rather simplistic Ulfen Barbarian, a lovable bruiser sort, who actually had a moment of depth as he contemplated how blessed he was to have such fine company

Too bad we can't get the band back together on this one. I enjoyed playing with Wayland, Morgrym and Calin. Alas Lazur has found employment currently.

I've added an expanded backstory, one background skill, and PMed you RP samples. I'm still pondering the archetype I discussed with you but haven't decided yet.

Saiya "Amaryllis" Zenova
Character Sheet

Character Description:
A tall, athletically built woman with sharp blue eyes and wavy blueish black hair; her skin bearing the bronze hue of someone who spends most of their time traveling under the open sky. She tends towards garish, colorful outfits that show off her physique, reflecting a mixture of her heritage and background as an entertainer.

At first glance, she give the impression of someone who is - perhaps overly optimistic - and determined to complete whatever goal she sets out to do; generally positive and friendly to those she meets and quick with compliments and banter as she tries to ingratiate herself to others... Though below the surface there's hints of her constantly looking over her shoulder as if on the run from something, and a deep fear of rejection and the ever looming specter that haunts her people; the stereotype of being thieves and charlatans... One that seems to bother her even more than the average law-abiding Varisian.

Character Backstory:
Saiya was born into a small Sczarni family that traveled along Varisia's borders, occasionally drifting into nearby towns in other territories. He head of the family was a particularly unscrupulous man, prone to picking marks that were a bit too big for the group's collective skills, meaning they never stayed in one place for long - even for Varisians - but they managed to scrape by under the reasoning of "a tenth of a noble's purse is worth every gold in the rest of the crowd combined."

She was raised as a dancer, something she showed a genuine knack for and had a strong passion for the art... If not for the fact that her talents were simply used as a distraction to keep the audience enraptured while her siblings fleeced them for easily snagged valuables; a slightly prettier dancing monkey, as the patriarch was so fond of putting it whenever a show didn't rake in what he had hoped. Still she tried to keep her spirits up and honed her skill, hoping for an opportunity to put her skills to work in a legitimate way.

She tried to run away several times over the years, though she was usually caught and dragged back in short order and put back to work - after hours of reprimand and slashed rations for a few weeks. Until one day she got an opportunity. Once more the family head got too bold, went too far afield in another country and picked too big a mark. He was promptly arrested - along with several other members of the group. She managed to just barely escape and fled the city out into the countryside.

She would eventually be taken in by a group of Sarenrae pilgrims, fed and given healing and - after hearing her story - offered redemption and liberation under the Dawnflower. She learned much from them in her five year stay amongst them - both in terms of faith and martial talents, the former helpless dancing girl taught swordsmanship and how to blend her footwork into fighting; as well as some medicine as she was put to work helping tend to the sick and injured they found along the way.

When the time came to part ways with her saviors she finally felt free, returning to her homeland determined to start anew, taking up the name "Amaryllis" to further separate herself from her past. She returned to her work as a dancer, though further inland from her old family's turf to avoid being recognized too easily; getting by on money earned through busking rather than theft and doing her best to dispel the shady image that surrounded her people. Though even now she can't shake the worry that she might be dragged back 'home', or worse.

Roleplay Sample:
Amaryllis stood upon a wide, colorfully patterned cloth in an out-of-the-way corner of the market square; a small bowl set out on one corner of the make-shift stage with a handful of silver already glimmering inside. She'd been there for an hour now, sweat starting to bead on her brow as she took a moment to catch her breath, "One more go, I think..." She told herself, looking skyward as she took a deep breath to center herself before setting to work.

It was slow at first, one foot forward, pivoting, the scarf around her waist swishing around her; the chain links woven into the fabric jingling almost melodically as it moved. Her blade gleamed in the sun as she angled it as she turned, scattering rays in a makeshift light-show under the noon sun. As she finished the rotation of her slipper clad food came down hard as she lunged forward, and pivoted into another twirl, faster this time. Again and again, each rotation picking up speed as she neared the edge of the cloth and began circling around the perimeter. With each rotation her motions became more elaborate, twirling her sword through the air, her off hand following suit, sometimes skating perilously close to the edge as she worked to manipulate the light cast off the gleaming surface.

Jewelry glittered, her sash became a colorful blur as her circle along the 'stage' tightened, drawing towards the center. She gave one last glance over the growing crowd before closing her eyes, focusing in on her motions as she returned to her starting point, twirling in place. Faster, faster, faster, like a living top, coming up on tip-toes with one foot, the other leg drawn up into a triangle. She listened for, waiting for the sound of coins clattering into the bowl before making her next move, her rotation slowing just enough for her to crouch down before launching herself into the air, twirling skyward before just as quickly coming down on her other foot; smoothly transitioning into a bow as the small crowd cheered.

Dotting for interest, will work something up.

Hello All!

Rumelords is nostalgic to say the least....

There are some interesting concepts already (one that mirrored my own, looking at you, Nidintu).

February 21st is still a bit away, if that remains your deadline?

Plenty of time for some fun researching!

Thank you for running!

@DM-Salsa would you be opposed to a Grippli concept? I see him as hanging out on the fringes of Sandpoint as possibly a known entity but considered harmless by Shalalu(?).

Yeah, but part of the fun in running something again is seeing the new characters people come up with. Will you be throwing your hat into the ring?

Dorian 'Grey' wrote:

Yep, that's still the deadline. If anything, I may extend it a few days to the 23rd.

Grand Lodge

Oh the 21st damn I thought it was shorter. Hmmm Do I go with the Shifter or go with my Investigator idea...hmmm

I may go for a Varisia specific Falcata Swashbuckler/ Urban Bloodrager or Fated Skald. Likely with a cocky and easily baited personality.

Attempting to learn Kineticist (Air, Earth or Wood?) for my possible submission.

I have yet to play one and it intrigued me for RotRL run....

@ DM-Salsa would enjoy portraying a Grippli for this concept?

My luck with this AP hasn't been great. I'll see if an idea comes to me. I'm trying not to get involved in too many games. One of mine may be dead and another is currently really slow.

Okay, I'll put you down in case something does come to mind. You've got at least until the 21st, so plenty of time for some sparks to start something. :)

4 Starts for me. But only 1 got into the 2nd book and died. :(

I also have been having horrible luck on this one.

Just working through the answers to the questions that you put up.

Okay, after adding in Ano’s family (after asking the DM if they would like that info) I don’t think there’s anything else I can add to her sheet unless otherwise stated.

I did try to play RotRL at least 5 years ago, with a gnome paladin (who would’ve multiclassed with ninja and become a shadowdancer) but my mental health slipped and I dropped out quick. Not gonna let that happen this time.

The only other PbP game I was accepting in was an Ironfang Invasion in 2017, as a kobold ranger who eventually got a raptor companion. Unfortunately I suffered burnout and dropped out in the beginning of 2023 (my burnout happened a couple years prior but I soldiered on as much as I could) but as fate would have it, after I dropped out, my Pathfinder hyperfixation didn’t just come back, that flame exploded. So suffice to say I regret dropping out of that campaign cause I was having fun.

"The Lucky Halfling" aka Joshua Hirtz chiming in. I've filled out some basics on this profile and included a link to a Google doc I'm using to consolidate the requested information and my current workings for the character.

Just realized we’re using background skills, which I added. If the DM allows it, I’ll have Ano learn how to read and speak Minkaian, considering she was a childhood friend of Ameiko and I’d imagine she would learn it from her. If that’s not acceptable I’ll choose a different language.

But unless I missed something, HOPEFULLY this is the last time I have to update her sheet.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

@Ano: That's fine. And don't worry, we can fix any mistakes before we get started.

@Everyone: We're not even a week in and I can tell this is going to be tough. Looking forward to seeing what you all come up with.

How strict are you with languages?

My current idea is an urban bloodrager/swashbuckler, who somehow, from birh, speaks Abyssal (which she hides, although she occassionally swears in Abyssal when seriously distressed) and has an Abyssal Bloodline.

She goes through massive degrees of mental gymnastics to convince herself that she is absolutely not an Abyssal Bloodrager, clearly just some form of... were animal yesyes! The claws and eventual size changes are just proper normal barbarian raging! There is no demonic at all going on here!

I am partly asking because I intend to start as a Falcata Swashbuckler level 1, and then do most of the other levels as an Urban Bloodrager, and while an Urban Bloodrager can probably speak his bloodlines language at level 1 if he invests the skillpoint in linguistics, a Swashbuckler doesnt really have as strong as a reason to be able to do so.

Alternatively, I could also keep leveling her as a Falcata Swashbuckler until something sufficiently traumatic happens (there is plently of possibly traumatizing stuff), and then unlock her "Bloodline" at that point.

Going back to the drawing board, the kineticist just isn't making me all warm and fuzzy.

EDIT!

Researching Changeling Shaman for a very similar concept...

@Mightypion: I'm not all that strict about it, so long as there's a justification for it. Basically, as long as you can explain why they might know an unusual language, I'm not going to be that big of a stickler about it.

Ash-Born (Hearth May):

Source Blood of the Coven pg. 5
Possessed of a blazing inner fire, hearth mays are passionate and excitable. Ranging from bubbly to irate, they lack emotional nuance, but their drive and discipline can overcome nearly any obstacle.

Ancestry Ash hag
Typical Alignment LN
Ability Modifiers +2 Wis, +2 Cha, -2 Con
Hag Racial Trait Ash-born changelings gain a +1 racial bonus on damage rolls for spells with the fire descriptor. This bonus increases by 1 for every 4 character levels the changeling has beyond 1st.
Awakened Hag Heritage You gain immunity to extremely warm conditions, as if you were under the effects of a permanent endure elements spell (heat only) that cannot be dispelled.
Possessed of a blazing inner fire, hearth mays are passionate and excitable. Ranging from bubbly to irate, they lack emotional nuance, but their drive and discipline can overcome nearly any obstacle.

She will be a Shaman (Tribe) that has become extremely protective of the folks of Sandpoint.

Campaign Trait:
Lore Seeker: The secrets of an ancient fallen civilization intrigue you, particularly the magical traditions of its highly mystical culture. You’ve studied magic intensely, and hope to increase that knowledge by adding ancient lore. You’ve come to the region to pursue that study, and chose the town as your base because it was out of the way of bigger cities—meaning less competition to study the ancient monuments in the region, you hope! You gain a +1 trait bonus on Knowledge (arcana) checks, and Knowledge (arcana) is a class skill for you. If you cast arcane spells, pick three spells on your spell list. You are particularly adept at casting these spells, so they function at +1 caster level when you cast them, and their save DCs (if any) gain a +1 bonus.

I plan to make full use of it at 6th with Wandering Spirit Hex Arcane Enlightenment. Good synergy (along with Ash Hag racial trait).

She will be a Student of History, while feeling protective of it.

RPG Superstar 2015 Top 8

Changed Dare's sheet one more time: realized I'd accidentally given her two magic traits. Traded one off for a race trait. Also changed a racial trait (actually going from an alt racial trait, scavenger, back to a core racial trait, intimidating) and adjusted some skills accordingly. I'd had some reason for scavenger early on when drafting the character, but tying her to the Family Ties trait, it makes sense for her to have some thuggish, intimidating traits.

Sorry for the additional change.

@ DM-Salsa Question? Do these allow +4 for all my friends?

Tribal Cooperation (Su):
The shaman gains a teamwork feat as a bonus feat. She must meet the feat’s prerequisites. As a standard action, the shaman can grant one of her teamwork feats to all allies within 30 feet who can see and hear her. Allies retain the use of this bonus feat for 3 rounds plus 1 round for every 2 levels the shaman has. Allies do not need to meet the prerequisites of this bonus feat. The shaman can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + her Charisma modifier.

Unusual Heritage Teamwork Feat

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Submitting Manush Karapetian, veneficus witch and gnome with a mission.

I really wanted to try something different with this character, hence spending 3 days noodling with the build and background. I usually (always) play good-aligned characters who want to help from the get-go, but with this one I wanted an Arc™. The world hasn't treated Manush very nicely so far, so she has little reason to be selfless, but I am hoping that will change throughout the course of the campaign and as she (hopefully) gets closer and closer to her goal of freeing her family.

Player Questions:

1. What time zone are you in?
WEST (Western Europe Standard Time), GMT+0 right now.

2. How long have you been playing TTRPGs?
25 years, give or take.

3. What's your favorite part about playing TTRPGs?
Embodying someone I normally wouldn't be able to and being transported to a variety of worlds. I enjoy reading the lore and worldbuilding and imagining characters that would fit in that world.

4. What do you expect from this game?
Expect? Not much, I've been on the boards long enough to temper my expectations. I hope we'll have a great, collaborative adventure together and write some good RP.

5. What do you expect out of your fellow players?
Correct my inevitable mistakes with the rules. Respect me as a person and how I choose to play my character (I promise I'm not a murderhobo).

6. What do you expect out of me?
Fairness and consistency in rulings. Everything else is a bonus.

7. Beyond the obvious (generally stuff already prohibited by Paizo's forum rules,) what are your redlines? Are there any topics, themes, or imagery that you absolutely do not want to see in the game?

SPOILER, for GM eyes only:
A certain farm in the third book gets overly gory and grotesque for my taste. Otherwise nothing.

RP samples:

To avoid spoilers, selecting only start of campaign ones.
Yaziyah, Shoanti shaman, at the beginning of Curse of the Crimson Throne
Sette the hyperactive ratfolk alchemist sharing their love of sweets
Tiefling in Jade Regent who is not very good with social cues
Goblins creating an anarcho-commune commune in Kingmaker
A loyal thrall in the Northlands Ssga

Dorian 'Grey' wrote:

Rules as written, they get the feat, but the ability doesn't say anything about obviating the triggers in the feat itself, so two of them would still need to be changelings in order for them to get the +2 to concentration much less the +4 for having two other changelings having the feat.

Whether or not that's intended is a bit of an open question for me. I'm on the fence, to be honest. Let me mull this over and I'll let you know.

I thought it a neat synergy. I am attempting to go all in on Changeling openess...lol.

It can be, but the wording of the feat has me wondering if they meant for it to be a changeling only thing even with things like shared teamwork feats.

DM-Salsa wrote:

The way I read it was like an "escalation of commonality" - if there's a bunch of changlings around, they get the +2 just for being changlings and the 1 character having the feat, but if they also take the feat (how teamwork feats work in general), then they get the +4 benefit

Possible dumb question in related to the topic-am I the only one who just, doesn’t quite get teamwork feats? I mean I kinda get the basic premise, but I think trying to imagine how they work in practice is what confuses me?

The biggest problem with teamwork feats is you really need to build as many PCs in the party as possible to take advantage of them. That much coordination would require players, and not PCs, to be selected or organize themselves and then find a GM.

I have an inquisitor in PFS1 and thankfully they get the 'Solo Tactics' class ability so the inquisitor can use teamwork feats to benefit themselves even if no other PC has the same teamwork feat.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

The basic premise is that you and an ally both need to have the feat in order to get the benefits. It's an interesting idea, but the issue is that you almost have to have two characters built around those feats, not to mention that most characters are a bit feat-starved anyway.

In this case, you get part of the benefit if you're in a group of changelings and part of it if others have the feat. I think that means that you only get the full +4 if there are three changelings in the party with the Tribal Cooperation ability. You get +2 on concentration checks if there are two other changelings within 30 feet, and another +2 if they also have this feat.

So, Dorian, my final ruling is that you can get the +2 for others having the feat within 30 feet, but not the +2 for them being changelings.

Thanks Evindyl for helping me work though this.

Don’t hunters have a similar ability? unless I’m mistaken. and yeah, a part of me feel like Teamwork feats were meant to work better for NPCs than PCs

Hunters and I want to say cavaliers or brawlers. Too lazy to go look, but I think it's one or both of those classes.

And interesting idea about teamwork feats. I hadn't considered them as a tool for building NPC teams.

While the Tribal Cooperation would still work: (It works very similar to the Inquisitor's Solo Tactics class ability)
Tribal Cooperation (Su): The shaman gains a teamwork feat as a bonus feat.

The wording of Unusual heritage does not: Benefit: Your mother was part of a powerful hag coven, and it shows when you are near your kin. As long as you are within 30 feet of at least two other changelings, you gain a +2 bonus on concentration checks and dispel checks. If at least two of these changelings also have this feat, these bonuses increase to +4.

So everyone within 30 feet would get the teamwork feat, but not be near two other changelings.

Sort of but Hunters 'share' their teamwork feats with their animal companion whereas Inquisitors just get the benefit of the teamwork feats.

I have a little book on kobolds (aka one of my favorite races in Pathfinder) and I think there’s a part in it that gives the suggestion of having groups of kobold NPCs having teamwork feats to reflect how they like to attack in mass cooperation.

There are some interesting concepts already (one that mirrored my own, looking at you, Nidintu).

Sincerest apologies! I'm not trying to step on your toes! Actually, my previous experience with this particular magus build has it resulting in a character somewhat like a bard with added combat prowess - while Zeldrith doesn't get Inspire Courage, most of his spells will be support spells, especially at higher levels, so he's far from a frontline fighter.

Finished most of the Deep Background questions, will try to finish up the remaining questions at some point. I'll also try to create a roleplaying sample or two for this specific character.
