I’m back and will gradually start posting to the games I’m playing and GMing over the next 24 hours. Hopefully, the workload I left behind won’t be too overwhelming today.

Can someone go ahead and help me with "losing out on any chance of saving the Elder ..." - missed that, like totally. Probably because we have no indication of that, but just checking. She was alive enough to write the note.

Sorry (not sorry), but I've had this problem with false sense of urgency in other campaigns and I can't really deal with it at the moment. There is virtually nothing imminent or immediate that they are aware of, so I'd like to be able to align myself with the situation if we can figure it out.

Right now all you know is that there is something CRAZY happening with this group of war god worshipers. They have all switched to some demon who is all about decay and rust. This person was here and noted that some seriously bad stuff is happening and maybe that elder is dead.

You may have time, but something is up.

I am back and will slowly be updating the games. Thanks to everyone! Thankfully, we were not severely hit by the super typhoon, and my family and I are safe. Unfortunately, other places are devastated, and hopefully, it will leave our country soon. This latest typhoon is the fourth one in the last two weeks to hit our country, which is crazy.

Hey everyone, good to see that we've leveled up. Not much to say for Kazmuk, he lacks the Charisma to mechanically contribute to RP. Will try and RP a bit more though.

Jacen and Caleb can take my share of gold up to 10 GP, as discussed last page. Kazmuk has all the gold he needs with his +1 rune.

My level up basically gives me Shield Block so I can avoid taking damage and I am now Expert in Athletics. Unfortunately remastered barbarians do not get Deny Advantage. But I do get Furious Footfalls for a constant +5 status bonus to speed all day, which goes up to +10 when raging. My base speed is now 25 feet and can go up to 30.

Not much else to say, it's a odd level up for martials.

Edit: You all don't have to do this, but my shield and I would live longer if someone had the ability and tools to repair it.

Thalassa has Quick Repair but only at Crafting +4, as of level 2.

Just a heads up for everyone: I will be unavailable on 23 - 29 December 2024. Also, since it is a holiday here on 30 December 2024 and then celebrate New Year's Day, I will probably be back by next year, like Jan 2 or 3.

Happy New Year, everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. I'm back from vacation and will take some time to catch up on the game. The New Year brought some very unexpected changes here in Los Angeles, but I think we're through a lot of it (other than the air quality issues).

Re: the spell the metal man cast. It only affects metal weapons, right? Are my unarmed attacks affected?

I won't forget my hero points. I just think it's natural for Kazmuk to get tired after so many encounters and mess up.

THESE GUNS are unnaffected by its spell. Go do it to it!

Thank you! We had one long night of serious concern, but the fire in our area was contained. That said, I am closer to Sunset Blvd; many of my friends who live even a couple streets north received an evacuation order :(
