Sorry for the delay. I'm regaining stamina and can post more as time goes on, but last week I still needed a lot of rest between efforts, even just working at the computer.
Metagaming decision point. I in the interest of speeding progress without eliminating the adventurous elements, I can tell you that to get to the fortress you are hoping to reach, there will be two more encounters similar to what was just conducted. The CR of each is just 1 higher than the drakes encounter (which I beefed up with 4 instead of 3).
You can play these out or we can assume we have established that you can defeat such challenges and get to the next major section. Let me know your thoughts.
For what it's worth, there are a lot of battles that will take place in each section of the book, and I recommend you play out one or two from each section. You'll be leveling up after the first half of the next section.

I should have a full suite of 5 channels available and a cure light wounds wand with 33 charges.

I think 2-3 channels should get most of us to full.
There is the rest of the day of arrival to heal and then an overnight where spells and abilities refresh.
Sorry for long intervals between posts. This will likely continue for the next five weeks, as I am teaching a night physics class. After that, I retire (yea!) and will have much more time for posting and will try to keep pace with daily posts.

I am looking forward to retirement, although since last night, I'm fearful that the new government will divert money from social security and Medicare, making it hard to make ends meet. I am fearful for our future individually and as a country. Winter is coming.

I have no fight in this, as I am from Brazil, but from someone used to be on the losing side of the elections, I figured we usually think things will be much worse than they are when we lose and much better when we win.
Not sure if this applies to you in the US, but my opinion is that both sides are much more interested in keeping in power first and doing what we think they should be doing second/third if at all.
Most people, on both sizes, want to be happy, want better schools, better healthcare, better jobs, and so on. If you take the time to ask, we all agree in about 80% of what should be done, but politicians have convinced us that what really matters is the 20% we don't agree so we keep fighting each other while they get to do what they want.

A significant part of the campaigning this time around was from a support network on Trump's team indicating that they are prepared, once they win, to sweep away the entire federal government system and put in place draconian new oppressive strictures. This isn't people engaging in hyperbole; they literally floated documents where they have stated policy goals of denaturalizing people, rounding up 20 million immigrants, and putting them in concentration camps.
I was not aiming to start a political discussion, just letting you know what was affecting me and my posting. FRP is a great escape from such troubles, but sometimes its hard to focus on fantasy when reality seems to pose threats. Blessed be. We will carry on.

Should’ve had Pemta multiclass into assassin and not shadowdancer. Regardless I will definitely look into feats and such that make coup de grace and similar assassin attacks work better.

I will be traveling all weekend. I doubt I will be able to post, so bot me as needed.
Now that my work week is over and Thanksgiving activities completed, I promise I'll move this to the next big event. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving (for those in America) and a good Thursday for the rest.
The first combat section map and encounter details is ready. Before I narrate it, make any decisions about spell preparation and activation. The commander recommended that if you can, to have your flight magic ready to allow you to get to wherever you are needed without having to use the stairs. You will be starting on one of the middle bastions.
I ruled that the Skyfire Mandate wizards cast a mass fly spell on the group, so Pemta has fly. I don't know if that would apply to the shadow, but if it has flight already, probably not an issue.

Conditions: The distant morning sun provides only dim light, and snow is falling. So question about the shadowdancer's shadow-it says to use the shadowdancer's base attack instead of its static base attack, but is that for the entire character's base attack, or the shadowdancer level's base attack? The former would make it much more useful, but the latter makes the most sense.

I still have my questions regarding the shadow, I don’t want to type up the shadow’s hp and base attack as Pemta’s entire character level instead of shadowdancer level if that isn’t the case.

It works exactly like a familiar. You add up your BAB and saves from all your classes and uses it instead of the shadow's BAB/saves.
You are a slayer 7/Shadowdancer 3, this means you have +9 BAB and +6 Fort, +7 Refl, +3 Will. A shadow has +2 BAB and +1 Fort, +1 Ref, +3 Will.
