Kalhoun can sit in just about any non-technical seat on the starship and be effective, though he prefers the big one in the middle.

Celebryn would be best as Magic Officer (MYST+6), minoring in Visual Identification (PERC+8) when there isn't a Science Officer doing that.

This is a replayable scenario, which means you can play it over and over again (though not with the SAME PC). As long as you do not have a chronicle for this scenario for Kalhoun, you are able to play).

I think that pilot is the only role that can't be doubled up. Gunner is limited by number of weapons.

My understanding is that Pilot and Captain are the only roles that can't be doubled up.

Speaking of which, if anyone else wants to be a secondary gunner when possible), I strongly recommend it - just one of the Pegasus' weapons is not going to be enough to take this thing down (at least, not without a very protracted fight).

Unfortunately, this is a recurring problem with starship combat, i.e., PCs lacking useful skills. It was worse when this scenario came out because magic officer and chief mate were not even options at the time.

That being said, ANYBODY can be a gunner (Dex + BAB = Gunnery modifier) with at least a 1 in 20 chance of being a good one!

Please do. Statistically, *if* I hit, half the time my damage output from a single weapon from the Pegasus chassis will barely break through the shield energy it looks like it can recover each round, so if we rely on one gun, it could end up taking 20-25 rounds of combat... assuming it doesn't take us out before then.

Sorry for the delay, folks. My monitor was acting up on me for a few days and then quit completely. I have now got a backup working, so I expect to be able to get us back into a regular posting routine tomorrow, January 18th.

absoposilutely sure that I did Celebryn's roll at roughly the same time that I did Jeison's on the other table :( didn't see that coming is right!

I know, it is weird, but the whole discussion was on a roll20 game. You can literally drop stuff or leave it anywhere, and it gets recovered automatically, it don't make much sense, but at the same time PFS/SFS has a few things that don't make sense, they just write up what is fair to the best of their ability.
You can literally drop it in the middle of the ocean and it gets recovered, instead of lost.
But yeah, he would have buried in a section where it is less likely to be hit by meteor pellets. We would have been under high gravity before we hit the map.
Although now Rover is melee character for the rest of this scenario.
