Katswiri has the Elemental Ward reward from her Season 8 faction card, and gives a +1 Sacred bonus to AC and saves against all creatures with the air, earth, fire or water subtypes to all allies within 10 feet. I think that probably applies against the dragon.

A black dragon does have the water subtype so, yes, Elemental Ward does apply.

How high up is the dragon now, GM?

Since it is likely setting up for another strafing run of breath weapon, I'd say 40 feet approximately at the moment.

Hi Beryx - you and your pet both have Outflank, right? So does Janus, so we have some additional opportunities for the bonus I hope!

Janus' familiar doesn't have the feat, but Janus (the human) is an inquisitor and benefits from Solo Tactics. Janus can also flank with inanimate objects as long as nobody else threatens his target (Press to the Wall feat).

Janus can summon a 'duplicate' of themself with the Ally Across Time spell, which gets Outflank too. It can't attack, but it can give you the full Outflank bonus. A duplicate only lasts till the end of Janus' turn, so somebody else making use of the Outflank bonus would need to Ready an attack action.

Yes, that's right! A great opportunity for us .) His cat has +20 for acrobatics and a speed of 50 ft, so it gets to the flank very easily usually.

Katswiri is in her new dress, instead of armor. Updated her stat line to accomodate Eagle's Splendor+Mage Armor. She will be at 30 ft move instead of 20.

My understanding of what is currently happening is that we have 3 rounds total. Two with no obvious next enemy, and now one where we see the dragon that is about to attack. Two rounds where we can buff/heal/move, followed by one where we can attack at range or do anything else.

Currently, we have the following actions laid out:

Katswiri: Eagle's Splendor, Bless, Cure Light Wounds
Janus: Cure Light Wounds, Vigour, Expeditious Retreat+Move
Carlin: Mage Armor, Mage Armor, ?
Rhu: Move + Ready Arrow, -, ?
Beryx: ?, ?, ?
Alli: Cure Lught Wounds, Cure Light Wounds, ?

Is this correct?

Rhu has taken some damage, and would also like a mage armor from his wand. There's not much else he can do outside of a fight.

Katswiri healed Beryx in the third round of prep before the second dragon. Carlin and Rhu might have taken damage from the breath weapon though, so might need healing if they fail their saves.

Carlin should still have Mage Armor from the last fight since its hour/level.

Actually, which way are we supposed to be going? I assumed that D3 (Yard) is where we came from, and we should be going further in, probably through D1 to D2.

I'll put an arrow on the map. Presumably your next stop after this fight is D4.

You have to wait till you're level 7 to apply that credit.
