Hey Eth, so if you want, I can summarize what's happened. (Edit: Rough draft brought to you by the Department of Redundancy Department)

I did have you back at Kassen, but I do have an idea of how to get you back together with the rest of the party.


Honestly, being back in town is better- that gives me a bit more time to catch up on everything and ease back in to posting. Thanks.

Summary for Ethufel:

After receiving the potion for Eth's mom, here's what's happened.

- While you were getting the lock of hair from Talliree, Meep was cornered by Gloriana Mora and her flunkies who then tried to rob her. Betzolte and Erigga confronted them and Erigga ended the confrontation by nailing Gloriana in the clams. Captain Wisslo has since put the girls to work helping with the defenses, much to the parents of the girls chagrin.

- Over the past four days, a more or less accurate version of what happened has been making the rounds among the gossip mongers in town, but there are a couple of rather nasty rumors about Meep and Erigga that you've overheard.

- Coldana Ventar hasn't been seen out in public recently. Strangely, those closest to her seem to not be worried about it.

- A few days before Alrondel and his two comrades arrived, a new elf, some distant cousin of Moon's apparently, arrived in town. Her name is Ailwanwyn, though she prefers to go by Aiwyn.

- Early this morning, Alrondel, an elven ranger, and two elven knights raced into town and sought out Moon, calling her Lady Moon at least until she put a stop to it. They bore terrible news about being attacked by ogres, goblins, and more some ten miles to the west along the river. They were escorting Moon's mother and her retinue to Kassen when the attack occurred. Moon, asked the others for help, and they agreed. Arnama and Meep went with them.

And that should be all of the major stuff covered.

Hey all, I want to get everyone back together and move us on to the next part, but I also wanted to give Moon's player a chance to post before wrapping up that scene. I also need to know what you're doing with Zorlak.

Okay, so I'm prepping for the next bit and I figured I need to update the sheets I have for y'all in herolab as well as get Eth and Erigga in. I found a few things that I've already asked about on Discord or PM's but I figured I'd add them here so they don't get missed.

Erigga:

- Varisian's not on the list of languages Halflings can get for free. I'll let you keep it, but I need to know what language you did pick up instead.
- It looks like your dagger Attack bonus is off. I have it at +7 not +8. Could you double check that for me, please?
- The cracked iridescent blue sphere ioun stone grants a +1 bonus to 1 wisdom based skill, what's it set to?

Ethulfel:

- Looks like you're a skill point short, could you double check that for me?
- Where did Charm Animal come from? I'm not seeing it in the spell list nor do I know how you got it since I already have you maxed out on spells known.
- I think Sir Whisker's is a cat, mechanically speaking. Would you mind confirming that and putting it in your character sheet?

Maidie:

- I have you short a skill point. Could you double check that for me?

@GM: As far as I know, no human languages are part of language options for any race, mostly because the races were printed in the CRB which had almost no Golarion-specific options (side from Gods). Human ethnicities were introduced later. I believe it makes sense for races to have access to them, but also it matters not to me. I can pick another language as Erigga's background makes no mention of the language. I think this was carried from when I submitted her to your RotR game as if fit there.

Dagger is 3bab, 3dex, 1size, 1focus. With elephant in the room, her weapon focus applies to all light blades.

Ioun stone is set to Perception. Take a look on my sheet and you'll see a +1 comp there on the skills.

Understood about the languages. It's not that big of a deal, I think, so I'm fine with you keeping Varisian. I just wanted to know what language you picked for a starting language.

Thanks for clarifying that. I guess I was still not thinking clearly because I was still short on the perception bonus.

As for the dagger thing. Where did the extra feet come from, then? I have you maxed out on feats and Weapon Focus wasn't one of them, and I'm not seeing or remembering anything about extra feats in character creation for this game.

I have four feats, two from character levels at 1st and 3rd and two from fighter at 1st and 2nd. The feats are:

1st character: Cautious Fighter
1st fighter: Blundering Defense (Cautious Fighter req)
2nd fighter: Weapon Focus (light blades) (bab +1 req)
3rd character: Uncanny Defense (Cautious Fighter, bab+3 req)

Weapon focus light blades apply to both the kukri and the dagger, as both are light blades.

Ah, right. In my posts I've indeed written Risky Strike in my attacks, but that is the name of the basic power attack option from the elephant in the room rules.

The same happens to Combat Expertise that is renamed as Defensive Stance.

Good questions, o' GM. My post will be forthcoming but it will depend on your answer... are we leveling up now? If so, I think Grob could shape change into an elk or something so he may not need a mount.

Moon has a Ride of +7 so it might be possible to ride bareback. Duh Rulz says that she'd take a -5 penalty doing so... which seems to apply to doing any of the 'Special Actions' which have listed DCs. And if I get knocked out I automatically fall off. That's reduced to 50% if on a saddle.

I was going to have you level up when you got to Kassen.

You could ride bareback, but I'm just ruling these are sturdy, heavy horses that can carry a lot, so two medium creatures wouldn't really slow them down, and as I said, Erigga and Meep are small enough they wouldn't even be noticed even if they rode on the same horse with someone else. It's more of an IC problem than anything mechanically driven.

Hopefully that clears up things.
