Ivis' PbP "Table Rules" -

0 - Real Life > Game. No other rules trump rule 0!

1 - I'd like it if everyone posted once a day Mon-Fri. Friday night through Sunday night is eh-whatever (I am in US Eastern Time, for reference, currently UTC -04). In order to keep us moving, I'll try to post twice a day during the week, and when I can over weekends. However, I know people have lives and won't always be online, so no worries.

2 - If you don't post in the middle of an "action" scene for a day, you get skipped once (or botted if your action would be super obvious or you leave a note to me or another player "proxying" your character). If you don't post a second time, you get "botted" by me to do something simple (usually just attack or aid another). If we get into the 3-5 range, I'll probably drop you a line off-list to see what's up. If it goes on too long...well, I hate dropping people from games, but it unfortunately happens :(

3 - When you've got a saving throw to make, please roll that first before posting any other actions/rolls (unless it can occur before the save).

4 - Feel free to roll perception whenever you want. If you want to use rerolls before learning the result of the roll, feel free to set conditional statements (i.e. "if that's a failure on X, I'll reroll"), and so on.

5 - Have fun! Rule 5 trumps all other rules! (except Rule 0!) :P

My apologies again for us starting so late, life has been insane to say the least. That being said, as long as we keep up on a solid clip, we should be good to finish up on time.

No worries GM - this game (and all the glitter it entails) is well worth the wait. XD

FYI: I will be traveling tomorrow. Then I'm supposed to find a wifi.

We are well past the reporting date and appear to be stalled. The question becomes, what happens now?

I’ve sent an inquiry to the PbP organizers for PaizoCon. Hopefully we hear back from either them or the GM soon - I’ll let folks know here if I learn anything elsewhere.

So - this is my apology that it has taken me so long to get back to y'all.
I got overwhelmed by some life stuff that hit, and then because I was behind it triggered an issue with my PTSD where I freak out about disappointing people. It's not an excuse for not reaching out, but I at least wanted to let you know the why.

I have spoken with Tyranius, Fi, and Mike about where we are at, and they are aware we are past the reporting deadline. We are still okay to keep going, IF you want. If not, I completely understand.

Being up front, I SHOULD be fine to get back to trying to post 2x a day, with the exception of Aug. 3rd - 7th, which is GenCon. However, I am taking my laptop with me, and my goal is to try and keep doing one post a day.

So - please forgive your gm for her personal hiccups, and she will try to make sure that this goes forward in all the glitter and fun she can make happen. <3

GM, we all know that real life takes precedence. And we’re glad to hear you’re okay. I’m fine to continue at a pace that’s not going to make you miserable, however long that takes. Hugs and lots of love.

This is also my goal, and I think if we (I) stay consistent, we should be able too.

Y’all- I’m sorry again. I had a week go sideways with gencon stuff, and you are the ones paying for it… again. I REALLY want to finish this, but I know with GenCon this week it is inevitable that it will happen again. So, I am talking to Tyranius about possibly getting another (faster/more experienced) gm to finish this for you. :’-(. I plan on Running this again, once my stuff calms down and I work with some people on getting better at the timing for a PBP- and when I do, I will make sure to message y’all an invite first. :-(

GM, there’s nothing wrong with needing a helping hand. Goodness knows you already did the hard work of actually writing the scenario. XD

That being said, I’ve spoken with Tyranius and I’ll swap out my Player hat for my GM hat to get us through the rest of this adventure. I can’t promise to be done in time for Gameday IX’s kickoff, but I’ll do my best. So let’s get to it! Bid your fond farewells to Vyecmuraf while you still can! XD

I don't have the power to mark this thread as inactive, so it'll stay on your list of Active Campaigns unless you specifically tell the website to hide it (ask me for instructions if you're not sure how to do that). I'll be hiding it myself after about a week in case anything comes up.
