Please fill out the Macro Link above. One character per tab (Please rename the tab to your character name) and fill in each of your skills w/ proficiency. Click the send to GM button for each skill you wish for me to be able to secret roll.
We will begin once the macros are all filled in.

I'll be running this for Paizocon so I'll also be taking notes... :)

Hello,
Just finishing a Bounty. Please possible to wait a while?
You signed up for Hillcross Round up. This is the incorrect game. The Hillcross Roundup link is Here (Link)

Wait - I thought the best part of society games is before it "starts" when the GM not ready and the players takeover the Gameplay...
=)
Severus Snape |
Done with the Macros. Sorry for the delay. XD
GM Tyranius |
Haha, nope all good. Roleplay out as much as you want :P
Shanti the Healer |
I have a glyph to hand out.
GM Tyranius |
Indeed, everyone starts with two and I have a Campaign Coin I can use if someone runs into trouble.
GM Tyranius |
Bumping the game since we are just past the Holiday now. Reminder, since it has been a couple of days, that you are supposed to be investigating and asking around about Trinsky and the scandal
Aroha |
Hello team, sorry for not posting for the last couple days. Put simply, life happened. Since that is now dealt with, I should have time to post more frequently, so expect a bit more activity from now on!
Aroha |
My apologies, as I am new to the PFS format, but what exactly are glyphs? From what I'm interpreting, are they just free hero points?
GM Tyranius |
Correct it is an additional Hero Point to start with if someone passes one to you.

Hey gang - I am still here - just struggling a little creatively to get my character engaged in this plot - bit of writer's block perhaps.
Just wanted to pop in and throw a "+1" in this game even despite Crow's radio silence - something will come soon.
Cheers!
GM Tyranius |
I hope you all are starting to notice the connection. I think when I run this again I am going to do it a little differently and just take it room by room.
What is trying to get across is that the guests certainly don't wish to speak of this scandal out loud but they are certainly willing to subtly hint towards the clues for you.
Maximas Power |
Yes, I know most of these displays had oddities to them, but he doesn't notice them until pointed out to him, like the one picture with herbs that don't heal as he failed most of those checks, so he probably would say the displays are great.
Aroha |
Indeed the title communicates as much! - I'm just struggling with why Crow would bother to get involved at all, real, fake, or facade.
So yes, awaiting my moment!
Fair! I haven't experienced it in PFS yet, but I know some characters in TTRPGs can be generally harder to write in than others. For what its worth, I've really enjoyed Old Crow at Mountain's Top: each post is a treat ^_^".
GM Tyranius |
Indeed, I like it as well. It generally takes me a game or two to find my character's voice I want to do for them.
Maximas Power |
In 5th edition Tengus, a playable race in 5e, can only repeat what they heard, even if they heard it along time ago. So the repeating of words does not have to be immediately. They cannot make speak their own words. I didn't know if it was like that in Pathfinder

Hey, just a quick question: how do reactions function in PbP?
When the trigger is met in live play, it's typical to butt in with an "and as you do...", "in response...", "you've activated my trap card", et cetera; however, I'm unsure of how PbP works with such actions.
If something were to trigger one of my reactions (e.g., Shield Block or Liberating Step) would I apply the damage reduction retroactively with my next post? Or is there some other implementation?
Tyranius |
The easiest way to run reactions in PbP is to make them a spoiler at the bottom of your post with the spoiler text stating the trigger.

The easiest way to run reactions in PbP is to make them a spoiler at the bottom of your post with the spoiler text stating the trigger.
So, to make sure I understand you. In the future, I should list a potential reaction as a spoiler at the bottom of my normal post. In this way, it is similar to writing out a delayed action, correct?
GM Tyranius |
Correct, especially if you have multiple reactions (in order of precedence on how you would like them to go if different situations. Examples below
AoO: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Damage: 1d10 + 16 ⇒ (6) + 16 = 22
Steel Shield Hardness 5; HP (BT) 20 (10)
Resistance 3 to all damage and attempts to break free of effects grabbing, restraining, immobilizing, or paralyzing them.

It was fun playing with you all and getting to experience PbP for the first time ^u^
With that said, I want to make sure that I understand that end of adventure correctly. If there is anything below that I misunderstood, I would appreciate if any of you would help me along.
To the best of my knowledge:
- Aroha is fully healed
- Aroha's shield is repaired
- These are free(?) services provided by the in-game PFS (or do I need to pay for upkeep?)
Finally, if I decide to make any purchases between games, do I need to report that to my next GM directly, or is it fine to just keep archives?
Shanti the Healer |
Chronicle looks good! Thanks GM. Now let's see if I can run it well... :)

You are correct. Aroha is fully healed and her shield is repaired. Bounties are run in adventure mode, which are not specifically designed for society play and don't require payment for the removal of any post-adventure conditions.
However, even in scenarios and other regular society play, the Pathfinders cover such basics as regular healing and item repair.
Finally, if I decide to make any purchases between games, do I need to report that to my next GM directly, or is it fine to just keep archives?
Record keeping is required for society play. You are free to make any purchases in-between games, but you need to keep track of them. Generally, a GM will not ask you to list new purchases before a game, but they are entitled to do so and may ask to review a PC's character sheet and gear for a number of reasons.
