Hello.
Guys, i'd like your thoughts on something.
I'm thinking of purchasing a flask of everflowing smoke, to help with cover. With our recent experience, it looks very appealing to me.
Yet also to set up opportunity for sneak attacks, hopefully forcing the enemy to waste movement getting out, for our melee to pummel them into submission.
A good investment, or useful only sometimes?

As just experienced, cover goes two ways. Ninja can't attack foes with concealment (unless you have built in a way to do so - eg shadowstrike) but this totally obscures vision.
I reckon it is a nah, it will be too situational, we just need to ensure everyone has a decent missile weapon (to avoid more flying problems) - or this time we can just throw a flying/hasted/smiting Pally at things now we have a Wizzy.
You could set up something like this with a Goz Mask and a wand of Obscuring Mist that might help, would allow you to run around in the mist and be protected but not hampered.

A question regarding retraining,
It was my intention to retrain 2 things, namely the Dodge feat and Mobility feat, the latter is acquired through ninja trick.
Those two are prerequisites to both Spring Attack, and Shadow Dancer.
Retraining class features mentions: The class feature you wish to retrain can’t be one that you used as a prerequisite for a feat, class feature, archetype, prestige class, or other ability. You must retrain those elements separately before you can retrain this class feature.
Both feats are prerequisites for both Spring Attack and Shadow Dancer, but i could re-acquire both with 1 level in a specific fighter archetype.
I don't suppose it is possible to retrain before taking that level, given the retraining mentioned above?

Purchases (small list for the chronicle)
Paying with 4 prestige for: wand of Mage armor (CL 1), wand of obscuring mist (CL 1).
That leaves me 28 Prestige.
Paying with money, starting wealth 33.645 gp, 5 sp.
Polymorphic pouch 5000 gp
Goz mask 8000 gp
Ring of eloquence: Common, Dwarven, Elven, Sylvan 3500 gp
Corpse puppet 250 gp
RoP upgrade +1 to +2 6000 gp
Belt of incredible dexterity +2 4000 gp
Money left: 6.895,5

(Moving this to Discussion.)
She's playing a kitsune rogue, and took the not-PFS-legal racial option that gives her Fox Shape at level 1. She discovered she really likes being in fox form and plans to spend pretty much all of her dungeon-delving time that way. So we're both looking at options.

..especially since you are Fox's defacto translator. [/ooc]
A pity it isn't possible to use a wand with paws, or Toral would be in for quite a surprise. The ring of eloquence provides speech and understanding...but it also has dwarven as a built in language. ;)

Fox, I have no idea about adjusting costs for tiny size.
I can find adjustments for armor and weapons. They are adjusted for cost and weight. Goods just seem to be adjusted for weight only as I see in the core book. I looked through the Paizo FAQ yesterday and did not find anything that answered your cost question. I will look in the ultimate equipment today, but I am not confident I can find anything.

It's not a great issue, GM.
Mere curiosity.
Hindsight, it probably follows something akin to the new pouch i have.
The Polymorphic Pouch remains in my shape shifted form, i assume shrunk to fit the new size. While a wand is arguably thin enough for a pouch's opening (a jeans' pocket opening, likely?), a waterskin more likely would need to have shrunk to fit that opening.
Edit, this ninja got ninja'd by the ninja GM.

Philthy Buff routine and dungeon exploring standard operating procedure post
I assume I cant melee around those oddly shaped walls, so waiting on Walla, if she can get green down I have a gap to get into and can go to work with my axe.
Awesome work Toral!

All good :)
When I play roguey types in PbP games I try provide a single post with as much info and 'the game plan' as possible. Allows everyone to act cohesively, tracks buffs, and gives the GM something to work with. I even include markings on the map to follow.
I learnt this the hard way in Godsmouth Heresy - eg the 'Dungeon of a million doors'

I don't see anything that prevents you from using spring attack with a swim speed. You have the movement. Sounds like it works to me. Does the strength lose make you encumbered and loose movement? That is the only way I would see you not being allowed to spring attack.
Took some searching, but this thread's 2nd post answers it.
LinkLooks that i have just enough speed to swim the distance and back. A benefit of having a 40ft base speed in this form.

Thanks for holding the line Philthy!!
But be careful!!
That’s was the last time that I was able to use a round trip with time hop to save someone. ;-)

Hopefully some defensively cast fireballs will help clear things up, that and they are stuck coming in one at a time might limit things.
Problem now is that we're also bottlenecked - we need to be able to back up so multiple people can hit them at the tunnel entrance like they were hitting Walla
