Level! Always fun. Think I'll stick to the plan of going straight Fighter lv.2 onwards.
A question on the class, though: How does the GM feel about Combat Stamina? I feel it necessary to ask as Paizo was weirdly wavering in implementing it. Specifically, they say that it's up to the individual GM whether it's a feat, if its free for everyone, or even a class feature specific to Fighters. Not asking for a handout, promise! Just have to ask given how Combat Stamina being all weird is apparently official policy.
Probably taking it as a normal combat feat even if you're not up for making it free for Fighters, GM, so no worries.

@Everyone, you can either roll or take half your hit die for hp, but reroll 1's
I wish I would've known that beforehand; I would've taken the half route.
L2: Cleric
Skill Points: 1. As poorly as I've rolled for Djedefre during combat I'm having buyer's remorse about going 12 Str instead of 12 Int. But with 3 'skill' PCs it seemed the smarter choice. I really want to go Perception to keep pace but I think he should take a rank in Heal because I have a feeling that's going to be needed/helpful since he can use his Heal check to assist with poison and disease saves.
Fort and Will +1
BAB +1
One additional orison
One additional 1st Level slot
Senemheb
Oo, level up!
Taking the half hp (every time I've rolled, I've always regretted it :P)
Lvl 2: Occultist (necroccultist)
+1 BAB, +1 Fort & Will
New implement school: Transmutation
-Base power: Legacy weapon
-Resonant power: Physical Enhancement (STR +2)
-New spells (0: Open/Close, 1: Lead blades)
Necroccultist: new necromancy spell (Chill touch)
Necroccultist: Deadspeaker - talk to dead like blood biography (not sure if this'll be a thing GM hates... :) )
And lots of skills, of course. Took appraise as a new skill, otherwise just boosting old skills

I too will be boring and take the halved hit die. Simple faire for Fighters, though.
+1 BAB
+8 HP (6 HD, 1 Con, 1 FC)
+2 Fort
New feat: Combat Stamina
All of two skill points which, given how others are covering Know (local), I think go in Perception and Stealth, the two skills I'll be pumping going forward.
That should be that. Except for the background skills which now see Luke speaking modern Osiriani in the most horrid accent imaginable (think Brad Pitt's Italian in Inglorious Basterds). Also deducted two torches from his equipment.

@Luke, I'll allow it as a feat anyone can access, not free but not limited to fighters.
@Djedefre, since you didn't know beforehand, I'll allow you to take half if you'd rather.
Thanks! I couldn't remember what the rules were for HP after 1st so when I posted the roll I had gone back to your first post in the Recruitment thread:
Health: We’d prefer applicants who will not die immediately upon entering the ruins and tombs, and so applicants will begin play with maximum hit points for their class. Every level after they will roll for their health, rerolling 1’s.
That's why I thought we had to roll. I don't do well at gambling so I'll take the safe choice. :)

Regarding loot... Looks like the most valuable item at the moment is the scarab shield Senemheb is carrying. I didn't plan to be a sword&board -type, and looks like our main melee peeps prefer two-handers as well. So shall we sell it once back in town?
Lucilianus "Luke" Caradoc
Speaking of, that comp. shortbow would suit Luke pretty well if no one else wants it. It'd make for another tool in the kit, and he has both the Dex and Str for it.
I recall it needing a new string, GM. How much would that usually cost, and what's the Str rating on the thing?
Djehuti of El-Shelad
I definitely think any PCs who use weapons or armor should claim them. Anybody want the longbow? Whoever takes one of the bows should also take those cold iron arrows.
Does anybody want the pot of darkvision or are we good with relying on our darkvision PCs and torches? It's relatively valuable but also seems like the kind of thing a player just holds onto and never uses because they might need it in the future.
Djehuti of El-Shelad
DJ lvl 2:
+4 HP
+1 BAB
+1 Will
+8 skills
+2 1st lvl spells known
+1 0/1st lvl spell per day
+1 arcane reservoir pool
Dame Jolánka Graydon
Rolling for HP: 1d8 ⇒ 7
Shaman (True Silvered Throne)
+9 HP
+1 BAB
+1 Will
+1 Climb, +1 Diplomacy, +1 Knowledge (religion), +1 Perception, +1 Sense Motive, +1 Spellcraft, +1 Swim, +1 Knowledge (history), Knowledge (nobility)
+1 0/1 1st lvl spell per day (Bless, Read Magic)
+1 Hex (Evil Eye)
Lucilianus "Luke" Caradoc
Nice roll, Jolánka.
But yes, think I'll take the compound shortbow with arrows, thanks for the reminder, Djehuti. The +2 Str rating makes up for the lower damage die compared to the longbow. Adding these to Luke's sheet.

Question for the Party: I've finally learned how to use Google Slides for maps. Would you all prefer to switch to that or are you cool with Roll20?
I'd prefer Google Slides only because I use it more and am more familiar with how it works.
Senemheb
Google Slides preference for me as well - just for being faster to open and easier to use (from player perspective at least)
Djehuti of El-Shelad
I'd vote for Google Slides, too.

So on the topic of selling loot. Luke has that trait which allows for selling "relics of Ancient Osirion for 60% of their listed price, rather than the normal 50% value." What constitutes a relic is of course up to the GM, but given that it's usually just PC equipment like weapons, armor, magic stuff and the like that's beholden to this 50% convention, there's isn't that much among the loot this trait applies to.
The armor, I'm guessing? Along with perhaps the MW longbow, but the GM will have to confirm whether these count as 'relics'.

Hopefully the AP will list which items qualify? I'm not sure how that works since I've never run an AP.
Where's the list of what we found? I forgot to put it in my notes. :(

Looking forward to your lengthy post introducing your dad, Amal!
You know I cannot rival with your lengthy posts, Luke! :P They're always a pleasure to read!
Funnily enough, the elf-Irfan family is based on a real-life story... I might recount the anecdote if people are interested x)

Regarding whether to take on another tomb on the same day... Does anyone need to rest to get their spells/powers back?

Djedefre is down 6 channels but it sounds like a majority would like to sell our loot and buy new gear plus it's late enough in the day where we'd be wandering around the Necropolis at night.
Djehuti of El-Shelad
Walking around a place at night we've been warned has ghoul gangs seems like a bad idea.

Sorry for my silence lately. Life is busier right now, and I haven't had the brain power to come up with anything sensible to say in-character... But I'll pitch in for the CLW wand, it's the first thing every party should get

Life happens at times.
For Amal and Senemheb, is there a 1st level wand that makes sense for either of your PCs?
Djedefre ibn al Qadir

Apologies for the confusion, Djedefre. The tapestry that required mending is the one that seemed to have information about the fate of Akhentepi's family. The Taldan tapestry didn't need much restoration.
No problem. :) Maybe someone can cast prestidigitation on the Taldan tapestry to clean it up a bit. ;)

Nothing in particular. Maybe later when money is (hopefully) more plentiful, a wand of shield would be nice.
Djehuti of El-Shelad
I did a search but the search function isn't working for me. Did we get a GP amount for how much the Church pays us for our notes/maps/drawings? I don't think I inputted that into the loot sheet.
GM Nightmare Knight
The search bar doesn't work, I had to find the posts about the tapestries by hand. However, I had not dictated how much of a discount the Church would offer on potions/healing wands/casting services. For at least two of you offering copies of sketches and notes, you receive a 20% discount to items and services from the Pharasmin church.
Regarding "mundane items", I meant standard low level stuff. Wands, potions, etc are available.
Sure, you can post purchase receipts in this thread.
Senemheb
Also, can I make my armor and shield Masterwork?
Wasn't Amal holding the scarab shield? Or was that sold?
Senemheb's shopping list contains:
MW weapon 300
MW armor 150
scroll of ant haul 25
scroll of comprehend languages 25
potion of enlarge person 50
oil of funereal weapon 50
Did we notice missing anything useful on our last trip?
Djehuti of El-Shelad
The scarab shield is not included in the calculation for distributed GP. If you want to sell it we can add it to the sell list.
Djehuti of El-Shelad

I'd recommend everybody buy vermin repellent. It isn't foolproof but forcing a DC 15 check for a swarm to enter your square is pretty good if we're worried about swarms.

Djedefre would definitely offer copies to the Church of Pharasma and I'm sure at least one other PC would as well. Does the Church of Pharasma sell wands of cure light wounds? If so would one be eligible for the 20% discount?
I'm trying to squeeze every copper of savings possible because low-level PCs are poor. ;)
It would reduce the cost to 600 gold meaning each PC would need to add 100 gold to the pool to purchase the wand.
@GM: Access question: Would darkwood be available for a darkwood heavy shield? It's useful for the strength-challenged members of the party (like Djedefre).
'Rules' Question for the GM: Would the PCs be able to push/pull a dog sled on their own? I'm thinking of something we can use to haul larger items we might find. It might also be useful for storing some gear like a block and tackle, etc.
