...A & B. Stride x2
Rannarix hangs onto to Ahksiva with dogged determination, stepping out of the weird frog slime and calling Mister Snappers to his side. The huge arachnid scuttles through the varieties of slime with equanimity.
Aurika |
Teamwork makes the dream work!
Action 1-3: Magic Missile
Aurika places a hand on the hilt of her dagger, though not to draw the weapon. She closes her eyes and concentrates, and the once shiny pommel fades to a dull and tarnished sheen. There's a momentary sparkle in the iris of the Illusionist's eyes.
Drain Bonded Item
She then launches into the same spellcasting forms as before, shouting "Magic Missile!"
Magic Missile vs Pink: 3d4 + 3 ⇒ (2, 4, 1) + 3 = 10
Yako Zenko 2e |
Does the eidolon do damage to the baddy or just restrain her?
Yako is the summoner, and will be getting to that momentarily ;) Mr Snappers is a standard Companion
Yako Zenko will make a joke about being covered in snot. You all don't know why, but it's kind of funny. Infectious Enthusiasm choosing attack rolls. First person to want a +1 to attack rolls, spend an action to get it for your entire turn.
Yako will then cast Boost Eidolon.
Tsuki will Act Together to attack the frog thing next to her.
Tsuki attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25
firey fang damage: 1d6 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 1 + 2 = 6
Deadly d8 if crit: 1d8 ⇒ 7
GM Tyranius |
Aurika slams more magical missiles into the hag as Rannarix slips out of the slime and loses his grip on the hag as she wriggles free. Grapple failure.[/ooc]
Tsuki's fangs bit deep into the frog's abdomen, puncturing through the rubbery skin. Ahksiva flees once she is freed, lobbing a small bit of acid at the scorpion as she rushes past.

Bursting from the door to the north of the corridor, Frustration leaps over the small corner of the frog's belly grease with his wasp-infused greatsword ready to smite down the woman as he makes his way around the area. "Prepare yourself, wretch!" he cries as he boots in the last door in his way.

Atae again invokes the Savored Sting to come to their aid, as the sounds of locusts swarming approaches their foe and coalesces into a spiritual force in the shape of a whip and the whip strikes out at Ahshiva

Rannarix |
Does the eidolon do damage to the baddy or just restrain her?
If you're referring to Mister Snappers, he's an animal companion, not an eidolon. He can do damage, but is usually best utilized to give extra damage to Rannarix's attacks. When he is more advanced, he'll be nearly as good a grappler as Rannarix. But for now, flanking buddy and additional poison damage when Rannarix is causing damage.
At the moment, Rannarix is just holding onto her until his fellow Pathfinders arrive to administer some street justice.
EDIT: He was holding onto her. A little shocked that an 18 doesn't get her!
Loong Laohu |
Tiger again rakes Yellow with his claws.

Tiger will then step to the side (well, stride 5' through difficult terrain).
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

GM Tyranius |
@Tiger- You would only be considered flanking from where you are if Tsuki had reach.
Tiger's claws shred through the frog's side, splitting it open as he kills the beast. Atae's spiritual weapon snaps down at the hag as the buzzing locusts cut into her. This gives Frustration just enough time to circle around and find a clean exit.

Aurika |
Action 1: Reach Spell
Action 2-3: Electric Arc
Aurika works through an evocation spell, augmenting it with additional arcane syllables to increase its range. With a flourish she shouts, "Electric Arc!"
Lightning lances out from her fingertips, zipping toward the two foes at the back of the room.
Electric Arc vs Pink+Red (DC 17 Reflex): 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

Tsuki will cast Electric Arc on the frog next to her and the red frog.

Yako Zenko will Act Together to draw his school item scroll of Heal from his scroll case.
Yako Zenko will then spend an action to cast Heal on himself and Tsuki.

Yako and Aurika send small streaks of lightning all across the room, though it only seems to touch your enemies as they croak in pain. As the smoke settles another of the frogs lies crispy in the sludge and excrement.
Rannarix's fangwire slits through the remaining frog with ease as the hag begins to look a bit uneasy with her situation. "Zura!" She screams and circles around and leaps at Rannarix for killing Zura.

So Enfeebled 1, which does... -1 to hit and damage? When does it wear off?
Also, how bad is Dying 2 in PF2e? Is Ranna close to meeting Pharasma or is there likely a round or two?
Focusing on the woman directly in front of him, Frustration lashes out with his greatsword. "Focus on me, you foul beast!" he yells as he slashes.

Atae |

1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24 spiritual weapon
1d8 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 force
With the power of her faith behind her,as the swarming noise of the spiritual weapon stops, silence as if emending doom is about to come down, Atae calls upon Calistira once more Savored Sting, strike down this false prophetess, who attempted to quell lust and love in this town and who brings only death, annihilation and nihilism with her. Let her taste, more powerfully, your vengeance.
The sound of swarming wasps is defeating as Calistria answers her cleric.

@Frustration- This enfeebled will last for 1 day.
DC 14 Fort save vs Harm: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26
The spiritual weapon and bolt from Tiger graze the hag as she sneers in displeasure. Unfortunately the harmful negative energy from Atae has no effect on her own well being. Crit success for no damage.
Frustration cleaves through her body with his magical blade and rage-induced strength. Her body falls and begins to turn and shrivel up as the hag dies.
After Ahksiva and her slurks have been defeated, you are able to recover Ahksiva’s silver religious symbol of Groetus from the wall. The religious symbol is well polished and heavy. In addition, several bags stuffed with magical reagents and gifts offered to the prophet can be found with a short survey of the area. These items are worth 4 Treasure Bundles.
Yako Zenko 2e |
Yako Zenko will slowly extricate himself from the goop, and use Prestidigitation to clean himself and Tsuki, then anyone else who wishes.
"Agreed... I am thinking all that is left is to report our findings?"
Loong Laohu |
Tiger carefully makes his way to Rannarix and patches him up.

Rannarix |
"Thanks," says the kobold, looking down at his coppery scales where a new scar is setting in. "She really snuck right up on me. I don't know who was slipperier, her or that frog."
He holds up his hand to slap Mr. Snapper's claw, but the arachnid just regards him steadily. Finally, Rannarix puts his hand down and sighs.
"So. What are we doing next?"
Aurika |
Never one to leave someone hanging, Aurika goes to up to Rannarix and puts her hand up for a high five.
"I think Yako is right. Let's return to see the Venture-Captain."
GM Tyranius |
Your return journey through the swamp is uneventful. By the time you return to the city, Venture-Captain Hestia Themis has captured and imprisoned Reast Mycer, the Guiding Light has been thoroughly raided.
Without the guidance and rallying figure of Ahksiva, the cult known as Groetus’s Chosen quickly dissolves. The neighborhood of Admiral’s Fen sees a dramatic decrease in violent crime and vandalism over the next several months. Attempts at draining the neighborhood begin in earnest again. The people of Cassomir no longer fear walking the streets.
Venture-Captain Hestia is ecstatic. "Excellent work Pathfinders. With this opportunity I will do all that I can to keep hope alive in Admiral’s Fen and ensure that monsters who would prey on the downtrodden can’t find their way into the city. So long as people have hope and faith, they won’t turn to anger and false prophets."
That is the end of the scenario. I hope you all enjoyed and will have chronicles up soon. Please feel free to continue roleplaying as much as you like.
Aurika |
Thanks for running! This was a great scenario.
Yako Zenko 2e |
Yako-Zenko will say a fond farewell to each of you, staring he hopes to see you in the future, and then will quietly walk into the sunset.
