Aurika is able to hide in a very good location nearby as she overlooks the proceedings.
Reast Mycer arrives several minutes after sundown, a gray hood covers his wavy brown hair. He is a handsome man of 35 years, with a commanding presence. He wears long blue and gray robes and carries a pleasant expression upon his face. Around his neck he wears a silver religious symbol of his own design, the grim skull of Groetus gripping the Eye of Aroden between its teeth. This symbol is identical to the one you found in the King’s Closet. Frustration does not find any other commonalities.

When Reast enters the grand hall, all parishioners cease their chatter. Several of the more dedicated members of the cult breakout into full applause when they spot the cleric. Reast has become accustomed to the adoration and religious fervor. He enjoys spreading Ahksiva’s message and dreams of spreading their vision across Taldor and all of Golarion.

Reast hushes the crowd and takes his place behind dirty altar. He speaks with compassion and empathy, but his words are violent. (except probably to Frustration)

“Good people of Admiral’s Fen, it is an honor to be among you tonight! I grew up in this neighborhood, raised in this very temple by clerics who clung to the hope that Aroden would return and save us all from this nightmare. But as Ahksiva has taught me and will teach you all, Aroden is not coming back."

"But rejoice, for Aroden has not truly died, he has joined with Groetus! Aroden saw our world’s end, but in his wisdom, he understood the only way out was through. Groetus is not the end, but the beginning! After the apocalypse, Groetus will create a new world. A perfect paradise where the mistakes made in this world can be amended. Those who assisted in creating Groetus’s new world will be elevated to the position of gods and will rule alongside Aroden over paradise."

"This future is within our grasp, but we can’t idly wait for it to happen! Every day, Blackwood Swamp drowns Admiral’s Fen so that the swamp may be whole again. We must be as the swamp and drown out the world so that something new may grow in its place. When we are made gods, none can judge us.”

Reast leads the congregation in prayer to Groetus, sprinkling in praises to Aroden and Ahksiva throughout. When he is done Reast spots Atae, Yako and Frustration. "I have not seen you three before and I make it a habit to personally meet with any new members. I am Reast Mycer. Please tell me your names and what drew you to the sermon this evening?"

Staying true to his statement to the group earlier, he remains silent to let the talkers talk.

Please, do not think that Rufus is being rude. You see, he is my body guard and is very quiet, but also very devoted to me. Well more than a body guard at times, but there is more than one way to guard a body, don't you think she says looking at Frustration with a smile.

Maintaining his eyes on the Grotean priest, he narrows his eyes and states clearly, "My name is not Rufus." Offering no clarification beyond that, he chooses to ignore the attempted salaciousness of his team-member.

Resolving conflict through negotiations is anathema to Gorumites as is underhandedness. In the spirit of the Society, he will allow others to lie and cheat, but will brook no actions by himself or in relation to himself. Apologies if this gets us into conflict with Ol' Yeast Donut here!

All good Frustration, that one of the things I like about 2e. Critical Failures can give some great false information while Anathemas have an influence as well.

Reast seems quite pleased as he spends time with you all, listening to your stories and offers a bit of advice. Atae's trick and smooth talking seem to be working. "I feel we will all see it burn son enough Forlorn. And in the new World your form will matter no longer kitsune." Reast smiles at not Rufus, though you can tell he seems a little disturbed by the man's gaze. "You all should go and meet with Ahksiva so that she may judge your worthiness." He snaps his fingers and a man moves through the crowd next to him. "Rand here can escort you to her cabin in the swamp..."

Reast goes silent for a moment as he looks towards the window and glowers. He raises his hands and speaks loudly. "Brothers and Sisters, Prophet Ahksiva has spoken to me, seems like we have some unwelcome guests listening in! Groetus guide us."

You get the feeling that Reast isn't referring to yourselves but rather your companions in hiding outside as several of Groetus' Chosen rise from their seats and join Reast in the search for the hidden interlopers.

Those outside have 1 round to act, whether you wish to fight or try to flee and hide. Either way I have added a tactical map for you to get a better idea of the layout.

Frustration draws his blade in a righteous fury as Atae gently grabs ahold of Reast's arm. He looks at her, much friendlier than he had just a few moments ago. "Brothers, give a moment." He turns to Atae. "Ahksiva calls for us. You should come with, help find these interlopers." While he seems friendlier, Reast seems compelled and intent on following Ahksiva's warning and orders.

Reast seems to calm down slightly at these words. He clasps Atae's hands with his own. "I have no reason to doubt you my Lady." He looks up from her eyes and narrows his eyes at the guards. He tries to compose his words as best as he can to keep the faithful nearby. "Ahksiva has spoken once more. It seems the interlopers were not outside spying on us but rather within our own ranks." Those still sitting gasp as the five guards that stood with Reast look on nervously.

"What you talking about Reast?" One man asks, his voice shaking as Reast responds. "These men have lost their faith and have been planning to assassinate Ahksiva. Slay them."

This will remove Reast from the fight.

Rannarix slashes his fangwire across the wounded cultists through killing him as he leaps onto the second dazzled man and tightly wraps his fangwire in place. Success on the grapple.

The cleric seeing that they are surrounded will retreat a bit back ands begin to pray as the sound of hornets swarming begins to fill the air as the goddess makes her presence known through her priestess,

Rannarix whistles for Mister Snappers, who climbs through the combat over the heads of the combatants, ready to sting Rannarix’s foe.
