Hello!
If you're playing BR Mhuirich's table for The Protean's Prank for Gameday X, you've found the right thread.
The Protean's Prank is a multi-table special, which means that progress through the scenarios is affected by other tables as well as this one. It's beneficial for the table to progress quickly, so players (and your box runner!) should endeavor to update consistently.
I would like to use either Google Hangouts/Chat or Discord for discussion. Let me know which you'd prefer, and once we've decided then I'd ask you to PM me your contact info so I can add you to the chat.
The special is scheduled to start on 20 September, two weeks after Gameday begins, so relax and say hello to your fellow players!

Yes, you can. You can choose to play for advancement; if you do you'll end up with 6 XP, and after the special your character will be subject to the limitations in the ACS guide. Or you can choose to not play for advancement; you won't gain XP or any hero points, but will take card upgrades as normal. You'll need to make your choice before we begin.

I'm hoping there are rewards in this that apply to other characters so if I can play all of these scenarios with advancement I will even if I can't play this character again. I haven't read the part of the guide about playing other things at tier 6, It never came up for me before.

Sorry about the late response. I'm good with either Discord or Hangouts. Looking forward to the game!
Quinn's specialty is burying boons to help against local barriers. So feel free to feed Quinn junk (i.e., unwanted cards) to bury.

Getting a jump on clarifying game setup, the scenario says "After drawing starting hands, each character recharges a card of their favored card type."
If that causes you to recharge your only card of your favored type, does that mean you set that aside and redraw your hand size, per the usual favored card type rules? Or does this happen after that check? Probably the latter, since that could get confusing if you only had one card of your favored type, but I figured I'd check.

Djinn was banished so replacing it. Saving the hero point so 8 left.
I'll pick my tier 6 boon and upgrade after everyone else has chosen.
As mentioned in chat I could upgrade Fate-reader Lenses to Third Eye or Zellara's Harrow Deck to pass to Quinn if he would like.
gameday boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 8

wkover - Quinn |

Boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 6
Saving hero point (feats already at max).
Card upgrades:
Ally 5: 1d1 ⇒ 1 - would be an odd lateral upgrade, so only if no one else is interested
For reward, will take Greater Bolstering Armor (armor 6).

Ezren the Explorer |

Raheli - Item 5 and bonus upgrade item 5
Amaryllis - Ally 6 and bonus upgrade spell 6
Quinn - No ally 5 or 6 remaining. Bonus upgrade Armor 6
Ezren - Item 6 trading out Fate-reader Lenses for Third Eye. Bonus upgrade Ally 6 trading out Cat (Core) for Venster Arabasti.

Hrm, been a while since I've done one of these, appears I forgot to roll for boon after scenario 1.
Boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 13

No upgrade. If anyone has a way to get an extra upgrade they can have my # boon choice.

Passing on upgrade.
boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 5
This was fun. It seemed a bit easy but most of us were high tier and the locations were small.

Rhynn - Raheli |

Agreed! Think that was the least Divine table I've ever been a part of and no major hang ups, plus got to do the witch thing and swap familiars so that was cool!
Thanks for the adventure!!
