As Ansha had anticipated, Galdron attempted to cast a spell, and she was prepared, scroll in hand. As such, when he starts casting, she starts reading from her scroll aloud, and unleashes the scroll's arcane energy in an attempt to counter the ghost's magic.

I'm a bit lost on my hit points. I shouldn't have taken any damage from the wall of fire since it was counterspelled, right? And only one elemental got a hit with an AoO against Rakesh?

Second: Rakesh carried over -17 hp from the crysmal fight, -1 hp from the wall of fire (pending the answer above), and then -16 from Blue's AoO. So he should be at -33 or -34.

Readied from last turn and it happens when the spell is cast.

And according to the rules here, "Your initiative result changes. For the rest of the encounter, your initiative result is the count on which you took the readied action, and you act immediately ahead of the character whose action triggered your readied action." So her next action would be right before Galdron goes.

Actually, looking back over it again, Galdron's spot in initiative was right before Ansha's originally. So his spell would've gone off before Ansha readied to counterspell. Instead, she'll simply Dispel Magic on the presumed Wall of Fire, which will leave her at her original place in initiative come Round 7--after Galdron and before Fuzzfoot.

@Kitoro, you might want to reconsider using hideous laughter. We learned earlier that the ghost is immune to mind-affecting effects (one of the well-known immunities of undead).

Ehm loads his last bombs into his pistol and takes aim. A shot rings out, and a sonic wave washes through Galdron.

Galdron does not vanish, but rather, becomes solemn. With a wave of his hands, he dismisses the fire elementals.

End of combat!

Proud and hot tears roll down his cheeks as the ghost explains, “In returning to my original self, I forgot who I had later become, and why I was right to do so.” Galdron casts aside his short spear, and his armor passes through him to land on the ground with a thud. The ghost clutches at his chest and seems to pull the flames from his body into his heart as he closes his fist around it. Squeezing, he forms it into a glimmering red gem — an elemental gem (fire) — which he also tosses to the ground.

It is not weapons or armor which prevent peace, but succumbing to wrath. I see this now. I will no protect the Green Market, as others must find their own unity, unmotivated by fear.” The Shoanti, now no longer smoldering and smoking, levitates above his sacred altar, salutes to the Pathfinders as though raising a spear, and then melds with the stone table. there are a number of small beads formed from molten fire of his chest wounds which can be strung on a chain to make a necklace of fireballs (type I).

A few moments later, after the Pathfinders collect the gem and necklace, the scene begins to waver and they return to the Green Market on the Material Plane.

Zeeva watches in amazement as the Pathfinders return.

"What did he say?" she asks. "We could see everything going on, but couldn't hear."

The Pathfinders accurately relay Galdron's message.

Zeeva frowns. "Did he really say he would 'no' protect? I suspect he meant to say 'not' protect." She looks at the GM. "You really should proofread a little more carefully." The GM sheepishly nods in agreement.

Zeeva has the shrine permanently unearthed and restored as a fountain in the center of the Green Market in honor of Galdron Greenheart, which pleases Telmayne Fire-Eyes and goes a long way toward ensuring the market and the South Shore district have peaceful relations with the Shoanti. The Green Market continues to grant preternatural luck and business acumen to those plying their trade within its walls, but the spirit of Galdron Greenheart no longer punishes the sale of weapons, armor, and magic items. As such, the Green Market opens its doors to traders of all wares, bringing even larger profits to the community — and, of course, to Zeeva Foxglove.

The Aspis Consortium doesn't seem to bother Zeeva any more - a combination of their hired thugs getting utterly thrashed by the Pathfinders, and also, rumors about the Aspis locating an even greater prize - a fragment of the Sky Key inside the Hao Jin Tapestry!

When the Pathfinders report this rumor, Master of Spells Aram Zey immediately calls the Pathfinders back to the Grand Lodge ...
