Thanks GM bigboom. Chronicle looks great!

Alas, I've also already played Duskmire Accord.

Like the others have mentioned, I really enjoyed the way you ran the game. It just felt smooth the whole way. Thanks for a great table.

Thanks to all the players too - you did a great job role-playing the iconics. A lot of fun and banter.

Sorry I dropped off a bit at the end. We've been hit pretty hard by the delta variant here and restrictions have been ramping up over the past 7 weeks, but really coming to somewhat of a head the past fortnight.

Out of curiosity - sorry if I missed it in the game, I tried searching - what were the incriminating logs we uncovered? I'd been about to try that out on my next turn when BB surrendered.

No worries! Take care of yourself with the delta variant! That's been no joke worldwide!!

As for the logs, it's basically the handout on slide 5. There were several triggers that would allow Bago to make a save to break free of Borgor's charm spell. Playing those logs over the speakers would have been one of those triggers. Those logs are literally Borgor saying that he will "enslave his puny mind".

Another trigger would've been if someone called Bago a "Hairless Monkey" as per Livewire's nickname. haha!

As for the other mainframe options during combat:

  • Lights out would've blinded Borgorbago
  • Strobe would've dazzled Borgorbago
  • Up up and away would've levitated Borgorbago up and he would've lost cover from those crates

But ultimately, you guys rolled really well and took him down fast!

Oh and I just realized I missed one other bit of story that was hidden away in the secondary success conditions text, which is kind of odd: Because the party freed Bago, this allows the party to submit Borgor as a replacement for Livewire, and the Starfinder Society grants Bago clemency by downloading his consciousness into an appropriate receptacle, thus freeing him from his vile brother.

So hey, there's a happy ending for Bago and Livewire!

Alrighty, the game has been reported! I'll leave these threads open for 24 hours in case anyone wants to ask any other questions!

Just wanted to add in that I also enjoy any game you run, sir. Thanks again!

Also, good to see a happy ending for those two.

And... I completely forgot about our ability to add some jazz into that last fight. :)

Thanks for clearing that up, GM bigboom.

Glad to hear there was a happy ending!

    Male NG Ysoki Technomancer 4 | SP 20/20 HP 22/22 | RP 6/6 | EAC 17; KAC 17 | Fort +1; Ref +4; Will +4 | Init: +3 | Perc: +4, SM: +0 | Speed 40 ft. | Spells: 2nd - 1/3, 1st - 2/4 | Active conditions: None.

It's hard enough to remember the extras you can do during a combat an hour after you are told, never mind 2-3 weeks.

See you on Duskmire, GM! Right now, the bear is signed up, but the cuttlefish may move in if I don't get the lottery slot and party composition would improve with an envoy.

    Male Korasha Lashunta Gladiator Vanguard 4| KAC 22 | EAC 20 | HP 32/32 | SP 44/44 | RP 4/5 Fort +7 Ref +6 Will +0 | Perc +6 | Speed 25' | Initiative +2 |Conditions: None

It would be cool if you could move the Borgor and Livewire with personalities. SO Borgor would become Ysoki in prison while Livewire would become the second head :D

Thanks for the compliments everyone, much appreciated!!

    See you soon, cmlobue!!

Velloro, that would certainly be interesting body swap!!
