Yeah, let's run. I'd rather get a few scratches than be buried alive.

![]() |

We all make a mad dash to the exit, Deevor!

![]() |

OK, Redd you can give you Hero Point for someone else to use, as extending your halfling luck.
I suggest you need to use your hero points quickly with these chase mechanics, rolls of less than 13/14 aren't very good.

![]() |

Yikes! Good to know.

![]() |

The final race against the collapsing complex was given about a 30% success rate, by someone who likes probability and gaming. So your last rolls and use of hero points worked well.

![]() |

I'm assuming it's not an insta-kill situation then, with low levels and odds like that.

![]() |

If you fail to get through 3 of 6 chases then you would have been trapped under the rubble of the collapse. It's not a death situation, but a an instant fail to gain 2 reputation as rewards for the second scenario success condition.

Whew!

The game has been reported to Paizo, let me know if there are any problems with it.
I need to ask you for your Downtime Rolls please.
Then I will be able to finalise the certs.
If Redd and Incendia want to add their Starting XP, Starting Gold and Starting Reputation for their faction, then that will fill in their certs automatically.
Ta Deevor

Performance: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25
Woo-hoo! Crit earn income!
Where do I fill in the starting XP, gold, etc...?

![]() |

Lore (Underworld): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
For some reason, no one wants to hire shifty Nal as a security consultant.

Arachnid Lore: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
Arachnid Lore, on the other hand, is a hot commodity! :-)
So GM Deevor, will you mail the chronicles? If not, how will we get them?
Also, thanks for running this! It took a while, but it was a fun scenario! And thank you, ladies, for being good players!

My starting XP is 20 and starting reputation Vigilant Seal is 20. (I need to fix my gold, so you can just leave my starting gold blank.)
Crafting: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15

Thanks for the game, everyone! It was a challenging one for sure. I'm glad we survived.
I am wondering what the actual translations were for all the stone fingers, and what would've happened if we'd tried to kill the troll right away or tried to take Amkha out of there. (Gives puppy eyes to GM)

Thank you for all playing and seeing it through to the end. I had such fun taking you through this, it is a great little scenario.
I will leave the certs on a google drive that I will share with you...
They will be there soon.
The troll was to all intense and purposes dead ....
The gem was powered by the demon lord's power and only came into existence due to the build up of that power in the temple. I guess it was evil, but it knew that it would be destroyed on completion of the evil ritual, so leaving the temple was a good option for it. Whether it is implicitly evil I guess we won't know until we get to the end of the season's metaplot, if Amkha reoccurs again.
Had you taken the gem you would have gained a slight advantage on the race against the collapse, (but it would have happened anyway).
And you might like look at the slides again.
AND A REALLY BIG THANKS FOR BEING GREAT AND PATIENT PLAYERS.

This scenario was definitely entertaining. You get extra credit, DM Deevor, for the creepy encounter during the night. That was masterful.
My Chronicle looks good. Thanks a bunch!
