Aatish, the bookshelves are high enough where you don't have line of sight on the caster...

![]() |

Thanks GM, not a problem. The riding dog can double move and she can still cast so I moved her to a position where we have line of sight.

Gah! My eyes!
After a moment, the beast is able to clear the gold sparkles from his eyes.

White Rose Duelist continues to ask for healing, since I presume the surrender doesn't end the spell on her.

Seelah sighs in relief that the woman saw reason.
"I have healing" Seelah calls out to White Rose. She will place her hand on her shoulder and heal her then uses another charge on her self as well.

Goe Lem also recovers from his nausea shortly as well...

Piotr the Wolf holds the tip of his blade against the woman's throat.
You are going to hand over those documents detailing the city's defenses or show us where they are. Then, we will turn you over to the authorities to face charges for the murder of a Pathfinder.
He snarls.

Seelah will start patting down to get all the weapons and magic items off, as well as any papers she might have.

Can I good cop/bad cop with Piotr? I am much better at Diplomacy, but can do a decent Intimidate if needed.
When her afflictions are gone, White Rose Duelist holds up a hand in front of Piotr and turns to the woman. "My friend is - understandably - upset about the turn of events that led us here. I do not want any more blood to be spilled than already has. If you are willing to work with us, provide us the information we need without any further violence, I know someone who would be willing to advocate for the consequences for you to be" - she glances up at Piotr again - "less severe."
1d20 ⇒ 5 + 20 if this is Diplomacy or + 10 if it's Intimidate
Yes, the "advocate" she is talking about is her own social identity.

Seelah finds the documents you were sent to find upon the caster...
As the woman bristles at Piotr's tone, she nods and shrugs at the White Rose, saying to her, "So you know who I am, do you? Perhaps, then...if you do turn me in to the locals, I could use all the help I can get...
"Yes, you have me, and the documents of my father that I came to procure, which are rightfully mine by the way...you have what you came for and my plans are utterly foiled...surely you can have no further grievance with me...the disgrace that I face upon my return to Cheliax will far surpass what sentence they give me here...let me go and perhaps we can come to an...equitable arrangement..."

![]() |

"We must turn her over to the authorities here. She must answer for her crimes. I do not approve of letting her go."
Are there any other papers here that could help the Society? Seelah takes a look through the shelves.

Piotr nods at Seelah, then addresses Celeena again, removing the tip of his blade from her throat.
If you are not executed for your crimes and you live long enough to see your release from prison, then you are welcome to go back to Cheliax.

While healing and checking the room, Goe Lem listens to the conversation going on.
Detect Magic
perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
sense motive: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
My dice rolls this scenario are unbelievable...

”No!! You are going to be judged!! Maybe they burn you for your crimes!!!“ she shouts and grins.

![]() |

"We won't be throwing you into the briar patch just yet," White Rose Duelist answers calmly. "But I at least" - she looks pointedly at her allies - "would be satisfied with your living to see that disgrace. So please, before my friends get too excited, help me help you. What do you have to offer us?"
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16

Celeena looks to the White Rose and says grimly, "Considering the circumstances, your offer is most generous; from the tone of your friends however, they'll never agree to let me go. However, I will take you up on your offer of representing me in court..."
You gather whatever other documents you deem your superiors would be interested in and deliver Celeena to the Absalom authorities. You deliver all documents to Venture-Captain Dreng who is most pleased with your work and free with his praise of your conduct.
With Celeena stopped and the documents secured or destroyed, Absalom is once again safe from invasion. Celeena Deckland is put on trial for treason (a family tradition, it seems) and sentenced to a lengthy prison term, though not quite so long as it would've been without the White Rose's intervention.
Congratulations! You have successfully completed The Infernal Vault! Each of you receive 1 XP!
PFS Goals:
Primary: The PCs secure the documents in area A6. SUCCESS! Each PC receives 1 PP!
Secondary: The PCs defeat Celeena Deckland. SUCCESS! Each PC receives 1 PP!

Soni leaves the courtroom and finds the tavern/lodge/wherever that her allies had chosen to meet up.
"Well, Celeena will be in jail for a good long time," she informs the others, "though I do expect her to see the outside one day, assuming no misfortune befalls her. Perhaps the Decklands will finally become upstanding citizens - though somehow I doubt it.
"Thank you all for your assistance in this matter, and I hope my handling of Celeena didn't ruffle too many feathers."

![]() |

Aatish seems to be disappointed.
[B]“Humans are so weak!! An Orcish court would have just killed her!!![b]“

![]() |

"She may yet do something good. I hope she realizes she shouldn't waste a second chance."

I'm thankful this is all finished. Maybe Celeena will come to her senses and offer to work with the Pathfinder Society. Reduce her prison time, maybe.

It sure was a pleasure adventuring with you all. Let's go get some celebratory ales at the tavern.
Goe Lem, your buying.
He says with a friendly slap on the Oread's back.
You can pay with all those little gemstones you puked up during that final battle.

You have my most grievous apologies for my showing in that last combat with the woman. I don't know what happened. I normally have much more intestinal fortitude. I will indeed be happy to buy everyone a drink and a meal!
