As a side note if anyone wants to take something from the items still in the pool, which is encouraged!, please put a note in on the sheet that you have it. I'd like to not have to keep track of everyone's equipped gear by myself if it can be helped :')

Absolutely fair, but I can't tell from that list what's been sold vs. claimed vs. what's available.

It makes sense to me to just delete something from the sheet once it's been sold or claimed by a PC, but I know that some people don't like that. Other options are to move them to a separate tab or at least have a dedicated column for their current status.

If they've been sold, I'm for deleting them. Keeping everything on there is just WAY too much in my opinion.

That's true. Personally I can't stand endless loot sheets where each individual item is listed along with a used/sold indication. That's way too much paperwork imo and makes it way too long. Thus I'd prefer it if anything sold or used was just removed from it. A carried/claimed by is probably still a good idea though.

I made a second tab in the loot sheet where non-generic treasure are listed so people can check which potentially useful items were sold. For this foray, I can't check anymore which items were sold to add to the 6064 g total but I'd ask a certain degree of trust on this. They were 95% just common treasure along with some items I didn't think were equippable or usuable by anyone. Also, these items were on the loot sheet for months without anyone showing interest in them I believe.

For this last trip, the only gear of note we found were the +1 Ranseur and the MW halfplate. Aside from a MW Rapier from Alaya earlier, a +1 bladed scarf from her and a composite shortbow with no str rating there were no notable gear items.

Oh, I also removed the remaining 'trash' items so the list was shorter. Think gear like darks, 2 chainmails, some common daggers and such. They added up to around 100 gp total sale value but took up like 6 rows.

Thanks :) Dialogue like this is me trying to roleplay out the fey thoughts racial trait; she will sometimes respond more mischevous or in a manner that is playful/amusing rather than what is the social norm/safe play. If anyone ever wants me to turn this down (or up?), just let me know.

@DBH a question if I may. Do the Ioun torches that Elena and Elathras have counter Darkness? The text says it has Continual Flame cast on it, which as a level 2 wizard spell should work vs common darkness I believe. However, I figure I'd ask.

@Elena. The Ioun torches will counter Darkness, however Deeper Darkness beats them.

Personally I would jump down as that is more likely to be a surprise to them. But either can work? Cant look at the map atm. Foes the other route lead through unexplored rooms and thus potential combat which could warn them of our impending arrival?

Sorry I've been a little silent, I've been trying to picture someone in plate armor swinging over the rail of a balcony and dropping down ten foot with a pole arm in hand.

Is the 'jump down' the same as a 10 ft jump? so Acrobatics DC of 10?

Yes. You have the railing to support you as you jump down so it's not uncontrolled.

don't know that it will go too pretty, Elathras acro is -4 so he may have to pick himself up off the ground, but will get a post up this morning.

I think even failing isnt that bad, 1d6 damage and perhaps you'd start prone in the fight depending on if we have a surprise round and when that triggers. Though, Perhaps we could havd only Bharak and Elena jump down with the rest shooting from the balcony instead.

LOL, I don't either, but I do own an iron skillet and I wouldn't jump down ten foot with it on my head, heck at this age I wouldn't jump down ten foot :)

He'll make the jump and if he's prone we go from there. I was just waiting to see if anyone jumped or if we came up with another solution. I didn't know if the fellow told us about the other tunnel or not, so I was just waiting. Normally I don't go this long between posts.

Monday has hit me again. No update due to lack of time.

Hey, I've fallen behind in all of my PbPs. I kinda-sorta knew that I had taken on too many, but life got busy over the past week and then most of the PbP campaigns got busy, and all that drove the point home. I've dropped out of a few, and now I'm trying to catch back up on the others. Apologies for holding anything up, and feel free to bot me if necessary.

Small note, i have a work deadline to meet for tomorrow and have been/will be working very hard to meet it. If i manage to post in that time, it will be a very short message like yesterday. As such ill also probably sleep through most of saturday and can only resume posting in earnest on sunday. Please bot me in the meantime if needed.

Note to future self, remember to take along the clockwork automaton on the way out to sell in the town. It's worth about 16000 gold, apparently :O

Update: My Mother was thought to have had a stroke on Tuesday. After some stressful waiting around and a scan it turned out to be a TIA.

Still not good but she only has a bruise this time. She is back at home but can't drive for a month and will need to take it easy.

We're working out things at the moment so I'm calling this week off for updates. Once we've worked out what we're doing over the weekend things will hopefully return to normal.

My Mother seems to have fully recovered. With the knowledge that the TIA is a warning sign.

She said after a couple of days feeling awful she's back to normal and feeling much more active.

Still can't drive for a month so we are covering her for that.

Heavy storms last night, we've got no power or internet so posting on my phone. Hopefully it will be up and running soon, bot me as needed.

It looks like a tornado crossed the northern part of our county, knocked out power for 15,000 or so. Probably won't get power back till tomorrow. My wife had to check on her mom so I brought the laptop along.

Kudos to Elena for starting this chase. Bharak and Elathras both acknowledged that they move slow. Umazura is "trailing after the others." And Axton has paused to dispel an effect that we can apparently all just hop over.

(Although why don't more enemies just do that?)

Edit: Ah, I found out. A disease-ridden local informat we offered a gift to (a shawl from me) and then bluffed a fake 100 gp bribe to reveal information on where to find Natalya.

The electric company is telling folks they should have everyone’s power back by Friday. So I am using my wife’s work laptop to post from my mother-in-laws house. All of my documents and such are on my desk top at home, so I apologize if the posts are a little simplistic. I’m trying to squeeze what I normally take all day to do in a couple of hours.
